"It's Not Your Time" - Ebenezer Quaye

[Music] usually I would have you stand for the reading of the word but I've already said you could be seated so we're just gonna move forward with that this evening first off I thank God for every single one of you I do I never take for granted the opportunity and the moment and the moment to speak on this platform and to be a part of this movement and I don't take for granted that every single one of you took time and effort and there were change that you had to break just to sit in that seat there were chains that had to be broken just to be able to view this on livestream or YouTube or however you get it or through the podcast there was a lot of noise you had to fight through there was a distraction or two or five or six or seven that you had to fight through and you chose to be here for this moment so I truly thank God for that this evening we're gonna start in Ecclesiastes 3 we're going to start with verse 1 and then we're gonna read verse 11 to everything there is a season I didn't even start preaching y'all y'all don't preach the word for me well yes and amen let me get him a car to everything there is a season a time for every purpose under heaven now we're gonna skip to verse 11 we will come back to the middle verses later on in service I can skip to verse 11 down here it's alright he has made everything beautiful in its time also he has put eternity in their hearts except that no one he being God except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end that is a bit of a conundrum but we're going to tackle that this evening as well tonight's title is it's not your time Saints locked the doors someone came in they wanted that word it's my time it's now it's now Lourdes now Jesus and who I think I might have hurt somebody's feelings it's not your time but I promise you when we are finished this evening you will understand why and you will be glad that it isn't so recently my wife gave birth to an incredible baby girl yeah that happened so we have a two week old newborn at home now and she is all of the cute and chubby glory that I could possibly ask for especially since we ain't get no sleep but one particular day I found myself me and my wife were sitting we were relaxing and by relaxing I mean we were both changing diapers furiously cleaning up spit up cleaning up everything else moving the house around to get ready for this child and feeding her as well and I had a whole list of things that I wanted to do because as a parent you want the house to be perfect for your kids you want it to be perfect you want everything in the in the perfect place and so now I've set out to build a dresser that we need in the room so me and my wife are sitting there and if you've ever seen anybody here who's gone to Ikea or anywhere else will you get your furniture you know what an undertaking this looks like like they put the picture on the front of the box and it looks so dope it looks so amazing and you just know this is gonna get done in like half an hour and then you open the box and here comes the bucket of parts all 1 million 367,000 parts that look nothing like what's on the box so I start to build this thing and at some point while I was building I'm sitting and I'm just enjoying company with my wife I'm enjoying my newborn of all the coos and the little facial tics and the the drool and I'm just loving all of this so much we're sitting watching TV which we know we're not going to be able to do together for at least oh I don't know till she graduates from college so I'm enjoying this time but I'm enjoying this time so much that I have not completed the dresser and now I have to go pick up my son my amazing three-year-old boy who's at daycare so now the day starts to fast-forward on me and I start to get irritated and I feel it because all I can see is this dresser that I want it done that isn't done I have ignored the fact that my wife is home safely after delivering a child my wife and my newborn are sitting next to me the best and the most amazing blessings from God I could have and we actually have free time to kind of breathe and chill and drink each other in and soak this moment in because I'm gonna look up one day and this two week old is going to be 20 years old in college and now I have a toddler who's on the way home who's equally is amazing and this three-year-old is gonna be 30 years old out of college and all I'm thinking about and I'm getting more and more upset as a stressor because this dresser isn't done I wanted the dresser done at a certain time but what was more important in that moment was the time I spent enjoying the atmosphere that God had a lot of time for and enjoying the moment that God had created where me and my wife and these two amazing kids could just sit and breathe now I say this because in a few months it's going to be crazy she's going back to work I'm going back to work kids are gonna be all over the place it's about to be off the chain so this quiet time is precious yet Here I am mad because of the dresser and I'm like God what is going on and my wife has God to the point where shoukata I can tell when I'm getting amped cuz she'll like back up a little bit she kind of look at me like oh he's on something let me just back up and that's how I know I'm tripping I'm like okay I'm tripping so god what you know I've got all these things to do I gotta get this dress ready I have to get this ready and to get that ready I don't have time what's happening with my time my time is not enough and god-loving says who said it was your time sometimes God just slaps the taste out of your feelings and out of your mouth I said I was almost offended he said who said that was your time so here I am budgeting this time and I have gotten to a place where I have worked so hard to manage my time well that I've taken the the spirit of ownership on it but I've taken it a little too far because I now believe it's mine I think it's mine to decide with what to do I think it's mine to decide how to handle it I think it's mine to decide who should be in it with me I think it's mine to decide how I suspended I literally think time is mine and now because I believe time is mine I am now upset because my version of time is not matching up with God's vision for my time see that's why I titled this message it's not your time you see a lot of us await the moment where we get on that platform or where we get to that place we get to that promotion and we say it's my time it's my time my time is now it's my time it's go time we get so excited because so amped up and we don't realize what we're saying over ourselves we're saying time belongs to us and it doesn't and it blew my mind because I realized how very little of this I own and to that I by that I mean none and I know I don't own it because if something were to happen to me the day when I pass I there are things that I own that I want to pass on to my children I want to pass on generational wealth I want to pass on land these are things I can pass on because I own them when I pass there will be 24 hours in a day just like there are now and no matter how much I save time and managed time when I pass there will still only be 24 hours in the day because I don't own time it's not mine and now this is shattering everything that I've thought about up until this point because we all have this season or this situation that brings about what I love PT calls the woulda coulda shouldas I if I would have done this at this time or I should have done this by this time I wish I'd have done it by my teens I should have done it by my 20s I should have done it by my 30s I should have done it by my 40s I should have done it by my 50s should I should have should have shutter shutter I should have happened by this time God why haven't I gotten this promotion by this time I've been here six months it should happen three months ago I should be further along in my life I live in an apartment I should live in a house I live in a house I saw they've been a bigger house I live in a really big house I should live in a compound I live in a compound I shall live on a planet it just it never ends and this whole thinking is based on an idea that we think we own time and once we believe we own time we create frames of times for goals that we manufacture and then when we don't hit these goals that we've manufactured in the time frame that we manufactured we man meanwhile God is like you don't own that why are you so angry that's not yours it's mine why are you so angry about this thing that's not going your way it's mine every single second that you have is not yours it is and while that should be kind of frightening I would actually say it's encouraging because this means what I've been carrying this burden of ownership is now released from me because I don't own it I no longer have to pretend to be responsible for creating minutes and seconds and hours I cannot create a single second there is not a test-tube on God's green earth there is no wisdom from any scientist that can pull out another hour from your day it can't happen through you it can't happen through them I'm excited because this means the burden of eternity that we start to walk under because we believe we are governing this thing that we own is now lifted off of me because I can't create time which means I can't own time now someone who doesn't manage time well just got excited because they're like aha I don't have to manage it yes I knew I was bad at time for a reason it's not mine no you don't get off that easy so then you have to ask the question if we're not owners of time what are we what are we responsible for oh yeah I just need to give you awesome mics I heard this word eight times I love it we're stewards we are managers of time not owners we are responsible for managing the most important resource underneath heaven time not the money not anything else the most important resource God has underneath heaven is time and he has blessed us with the opportunity to manage it so this becomes a a we shaping of our minds because this means we have to we can now stop beating each other or beating ourselves up over this idea of losing time I'm not losing time it was 24 hours yesterday is gonna be 24 hours today and it's gonna be 24 hours tomorrow I'm not losing time the fabric of time is not breaking apart because I decided not to do what God told me to do still gonna be 24 hours now what I am responsible for is this management thing and this is where it gets real because if there's one thing that God will not tolerate his mismanagement of his resources and because God has created time and because God almost time he's not going to take time away from you in the sense that all of a sudden you're gonna wake up and have a 15-hour day while everybody else has 24 that's not how this works what you will find is things will show up in your life to distract you so that instead of doing that which God has called you to do with the time that he has given you we find ourselves distracted and now all of a sudden my 24 hours is not your 24 hours your 24 hours is productive like 48 hours but because I'm distracted Minds looks like five or six and this is what I like to call the playground of haters the hater playground is you're doing more with your time than I'm doing with mine even though we both have the same amount of time we know the same God we're breathing the same air we have access to the same resources I can get I can get to the word just as easy as you can I can get to the podcast to get to this word just as easy as you can but because you are working your word because you are being obedient because you are being a steward and a manager and not pretending that you only think God is blessing you so your 24 hours seems like 48 and I'm just left mad because out of my 24 hours I spend 12 of it asleep and then I spend 6 of it on social media 6 is like for some people don't trip and then I spend the rest of it trying to figure out what I'm gonna eat which is going to put me to sleep because I'm probably eating the wrong thing and now I'm sleep for 12 hours and I can't figure out how come I can't work my 24 hours but this starts when we come to the firm understanding that it's not our time the Eternity of time the the burden to carry that was not meant for us to carry there was only one person wrapped in flesh who carried that burden and that was Jesus because Jesus walked on this earth with all-knowing power he was the Express manifestation of God wrapped in flesh which means he knew of what came before him he knew of what was coming after him and he was present in the moment and he was responsible for all of it he is the only person who has carried the burden of eternity on this earth not us and he did it so that we wouldn't have to this is for somebody put that burden down you are not responsible or forever you are responsible for the 24-hour block that God has blessed you to manage and this is the glory of how God has set it up these 24-hour blocks are just that there are blocks and with every 24-hour block you lay down a foundation if you if you've built up enough of a foundation then everything God has for you when it shows up has something to stand on but this doesn't come because we manage eight months at one time 24 hours a day manage each day as God has given it to us because tomorrow is not even promised as much as I would love to plan my next eight to 12 to 15 to 26 weeks out I can but I leave room for God to say I love your plan it's a nice plan but it's not my plan here's my plan and then when I hear that I scrapped my plan and take his plan and work from there so if we're not responsible in terms of ownership of time I want to leave three things for us that we do need to be responsible for if we are going to properly manage this amazing thing called time I want to look at verse three again very quickly it says to everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the earth this word purpose blew me away because we have an idea when we think of purpose we think of calling we think of career we think of what God has called us to do this word purpose in this text as he's talking to what God has assigned over our lives this word purpose means delight it literally means that which pleases us so to everything there is a season a time for every delight under heaven when you are walking in your purpose you should be doing it with a sense of delight if there is not a sense of delight it is not your purpose I didn't say you weren't going to be tired I didn't say it wasn't going to be hard I didn't say it wouldn't face opposition what I am saying is there will be a sense of delight which means when your head hits the pillow after you have finished what God has called for you to do you will sleep with a smile on your face your bones will be weary you might have tears in your eyes from what you had to sacrifice to get that thing done but a slow little smile will creep right across your face and you will sleep with peace that is what we are aiming for in terms of purpose to everything there is a season a time for every purpose under heaven the first thing we need to get better at managing is God's instructions I feel this for somebody somebody has been saying I'm running out of time I need more time I'm running out of time you don't need more time you're not running out of time you're running out of instructions you just need more instructions because inherent in God's instructions is the time to enact them God has said my word shall not return unto me void that means when God gives you a word I don't care how much you don't understand it how hard it seems how out of the realm of your idea of a possibility it is once God gives us a word in that word is the ability to do it and the time that [Applause] kind of cuts a little bit because some of us would like to believe there's not enough time so that gives us the scapegoat to not try it because we'll look at it and say oh there's not enough time to do that clearly that's not for me and run away not after tonight when God gives you a word over your life there is time because you have the same 24 hours everybody else does but everybody else is now serving God like you every instruction comes with the time to get that thing done God gives you something to do I've only got an hour stop saying only wipe that out of your vocabulary right now I only have a half an hour I only have a day I only have two weeks I only have a month I've got this proposal it's supposed to take me six weeks to do it I only have 30 minutes you have 30 minutes and you have an instruction that means it's only going to take 30 minutes it's a supernatural thing because you just received a supernatural instruction from a supernatural God who has supernatural break3 planned into that supernatural instruction and supernatural favor on the other side of the supernatural instruction your half-hour is about to be 10 times more productive than somebody else's 6 months because it came from God because he ordained it just before he knew you and puts you in your mother's womb get the thing done stop complaining about the time you think you need and work with the time that God has given you to manage [Applause] this cuts me too much because before I had to bring this word I had to go over my whole life like no what have I been saying I didn't have enough time to do not realizing it doesn't matter how much time I think needs for it to be done it matters the time that is allotted and the word the instruction is it family when I got called to preach this word I literally sat on my couch I said babe what am I gonna sleep wait I don't know how I'm gonna do this and we looked at each other and it clicked both of us we said well it's gonna get done God literally said I got a word once God says you got a word I'm like well that's it then my time management skills kind of stopped right there once God says I've got a word it means whatever time is allotted to me that's enough time for that word and this is for somebody also God's instructions come with a timing I'm gonna try to wrap this story up as quickly as possible I remember a few years back I spoke at 5k and and I don't even remember what excited even remember the word that I spoke but I was asked to speak it was a Monday night I was tired did it now the word is finished and there's a man in the back who asked the question that had nothing to do with the topic it had nothing to do with what I talked about but he asked the question and his heart was so pure we had to address that thing so we addressed it on the spot we had a whole discussion about it I wanted to get in his number he want to get my number we wound up talking back and forth that man runs 5k years later if I'm not mistaken I don't even know if he went to the church but I think he started going after he came that night and he winds up leading a ministry because even though I was tired God gave me an instruction and I honored it me and that dude we're thick as thieves I was at his wedding he's had two kids he knows my two kids here's the kicker my daughter was born two weeks ago his wife helped deliver my daughter they met here at this church she runs the women's ministry y'all catching on I got a word I didn't know how far it was gonna go I had no idea that that woman was literally going to be in the delivery room for me and my daughter but God had an instruction and I had to work that thing so the first thing we are always responsible for is his instructions because his instructions come with time and timing the second thing I want to make sure we are honoring as well and this is important lord help me pastor Terry has talked about it this series in the air who is this series blessing cuz I don't know by God but I'll be at home like and if you haven't caught it get on the You Tube channel these the whole series is amazing but he has talked extensively about regulating thoughts this idea that there are thoughts that are in your mind and we have the authority to regulate them I always say this thoughts crawl all kind of thoughts will cross my mind all kind of thoughts I've had all of the stupid thoughts that you could think of the difference between me and the person who does the stupid thing is I let them thoughts keep going thoughts cross your mind let them go let them keep crossing but if you don't regulate your mind your that thought will get stuck to something that you didn't deal with before and get a friend and now the same principle that applies where we speak of where to agree they can move forward the same principle applies to your thoughts see we always think it's one thought that leads us down the path it's not one it's the one thought that agrees with a thought that's already there that's not dealt with and now we got a movement because those two thoughts are in agreement and they start to multiply and after enough multiplication they will manifest so when Pastor Toure continually speaks of regulating our thoughts this is what I'm talking about because we're in charge of our thoughts the 24 hours you can't add subtract multiply that's not you you get to manage him but the thoughts are all ours all ours we can tell a thought where to go this thought it's this aligns with what God's telling me it's staying and I'm gonna place myself in an environment where more people will feed and come into agreement with those thoughts so that the godly thoughts will multiply faster than the ungodly thoughts and so the conclusion of these godly thoughts have me doing things in a godly way because I have a system of godly thoughts that is in alignment with God's instructions and they have dominion in my mind so now I'm driving out the thoughts that are not godly because the whole system of godly thoughts is swallowing them up we are responsible for God's instructions we are also responsible for our thoughts this is important because what I've come to realize is everything we do is a conclusion that has come from a system of thoughts there are no dumb things that you do let me say that again there is nothing that you have done that is random that is a real cute trick from the enemy to get you to think oh that was random no it is not random everything we do is based on a system of thoughts that have reached a conclusion and every conclusion that settles in your mind you will do so when we do something that is out of character it is not because one random thought showed up and we just fell out and didn't know what to do and it's not because there are no thougts at all connected to that thing what happens is much like a computer there are processes that we have allowed to run in our minds unchecked unnoticed unchecked in the tech world I believe they call that a virus you can't detect it you don't clean your machine you don't scan and then all of a sudden nothing works the way it is supposed to outcomes are not happening the way they are supposed to according to God's instructions so this is why Pastor Tory continues to say regulate your thoughts always any random thought where did that come from snuff that thing out grep where did it come from when you've isolated where it came from then you can let it go it served its purpose sometimes you will have a thought that crosses your mind just to give you a clue to something that has been embedded on the inside of you that you've not dealt with so no there is no such thing as a random thought because we're in charge of our thoughts we are in charge of the thoughts that stay and we're in charge of the thoughts that go God has given us that authority the time thing is not us but the thought thing is all about us so we're yeah I finally drank the water oh my goodness it has probably been a year and a half of me preaching with this water bottle up here and I have drank the water there was a system of thoughts that told me I was thirsty and the conclusion that was given was I need to drink this water amen so we're regulating our thoughts we are responsible for God's instructions and I noticed something in the word I want to backtrack a little bit but I need us to have a real firm perspective on what happened with this time thing how we got to this place where we feel like we have to own it because if you study in Genesis in the beginning when Adam was in the garden God gave Adam dominion over everything and he gave him assignments he said I need you to name the animals and classify the plants and make sure this ecosystem this incredible thing that I've given you to manage works do you know what Adam did not have deadlines Adam had mad work no deadlines why he had no deadlines because he had no concept of time you have to remember Eden was designed to be forever it was designed to be eternal when you are living in the realm of the eternal nobody's counting there is no need to count you're going to be there forever Adam was designed to manage this thing forever and then him and Eve had a moment with the Apple which came from the tree of knowledge and as God says to them they're at the incident was they realized that they were naked I was wondering all the things for them to admit that they knew why being naked because the tree of knowledge meant that there was knowledge over all things which means these two beings who were meant to exist in this world that was eternal suddenly in the garden you can hear now all of a sudden the element of time has been introduced the warning that God gave Adam and Eve was this don't eat from this fruit because you will die die meaning there is now an end to that which was not meant to end and now that there's an end we have to count from where we are we have to account from where we are to the end this Apple messed us up more than you can possibly know because Adam have more work than everybody in this room he had to run the Garden of Eden plentiful eternal resources some of us can barely balance our checkbook with the 50 cent that's in the account Adam has to manage everything in all the splendor and glory that God could handle him hand to him and he did it with no deadlines because there was no concept of time because he wasn't supposed to be worried about time he was not supposed to have the burden of time because time belonged to God and then the tree of knowledge was he was exposed to the tree of knowledge and now he has an understanding of that which he's not supposed to have an understanding of which is I am finite my time first off I now know what time is this is a new thing and this thing comes to an end which means now I have to work in such a way where I have to try to get as much done before this thing ends does this sound familiar to anybody has anyone been given a deadline and all of a sudden you were worked your work and you were doing it according to the time you weren't even thinking about how much time that was taking and then all of a sudden a deadline shows up what comes with deadlines stress so now we are walking accomplishing the work that God has called us to accomplish with a concept that seems foreign to us on a regular basis and that's what stresses us out because we weren't even supposed to be counting this but now we have to count for this thing called time and if we're going to count it we feel like we have to own it because if we don't acknowledge if we don't feel like we have to own it then it feels like it's out of control so now we have to own this thing which is not ownable because it doesn't belong to us when you have a deadline meet you and I want to break this off of you - a deadline a deadline should not stress you what a deadline is is an opportunity to manifest what God has already put in motion but you know he's put it in motion because you've been following his instructions and you've been regulating his nor thoughts and so when the deadline shows up all you should see is an opportunity to manifest I don't want anybody to ever get stressed out by a deadline in your life because all a deadline is is it is a manifestation of the productivity that you have been building with these 24 hour blocks that God has given you to manage all of your years a deadline should never catch you off guard because you're always doing God's work so there's no reason to be stressed about it as long as we handle our 24 hours as God has given us to manage we have God's instructions we have our thoughts I want to leave you with this last piece now I want to go back to Ecclesiastes chapter 3 verse two now I'm going to read verses 2 through 8 some of us are very familiar with this I believe these are the words to a really cool song from the 70s but we have established that this thing called time doesn't belong to us and this drives it home now I'm actually going to paraphrase please excuse me because I'm doing this for the for the for the in the spirit of time management every phrase begins with a time - a time - God in this solomon lists out everything that God has left time for you're gonna love this this is gonna bless you a time to plant oh I started way early here we are a time to be born time to die a time to plant now I'm just going to go forward to plant to pluck what is planted to kill to heal to break down to build up to weep to laugh to mourn to dance to cast away stones to gather stones I love this one to embrace to refrain from embracing stop hugging up on things God is telling you to leave alone get your hands and your arms off that thing it ain't for you and maybe if that wasn't in your arms what God had for you would be moving forward moving forward I almost started some trouble moving forward moving forward I'm managing his time I'm moving forward to embrace to refrain from embracing to gain to lose to keep to throw away time to tear to sew to keep silence to speak y'all better remember that word from a couple of weeks ago you stand down to love to hate for war and of war and of peace God has given and set aside time before all of these things study and when you get a chance this is a yesyes two through eight God has set aside time for it everything on that list I'd like to believe that covers the gamut of this thing we call life and God has assigned a time for all of it oh wow okay this means that in order for us to manage time properly we have to continue to be in season there is time for all of it but that doesn't mean we're supposed to do all of it at once it also means there's an order for it so when you are mourning when you are not supposed to be mourning when your season of mourning is over I don't know who this is for I don't know what it is you're mourning over I'm not gonna say a person it is a thing God has taken something from you whether it is a career move I don't know what that thing is but this thing the time for you to mourn for that thing is over and if you stay in a season you're not meant to be in you are mismanaging the time that God has blessed you to have because God already assigned the time for that morning and that time is up every single thing on this list God has assigned time for to weep and to laugh why are you weeping when you should be laughing why are you laughing when you should be weeping God has assigned time for all of these things you know the one thing that's not on this list and I'm glad it's not because that's how I know I serve an amazing God there is no time to waste you can do everything else but he didn't set aside time to waste so when we find ourselves wasting time it is a really good indicator chances are we are not honoring his instructions or not regulating our thoughts or doing some really wild mixture of both and we will find ourselves out of season we will find ourselves out of time and now we are stressed because now we have to manage the remaining time that is left because we have wasted the time that God has given us to manage family I don't want anyone to leave this place without the firm understanding the firm understanding that this thing we call time that we stress out about is not meant to be stressed out about it's meant to be managed and there's a way to do it we get his instructions we listen for his instructions here's a quick tip don't do anything without his instructions that's a great way to waste time you start doing stuff you have no word no instruction and then God's word shows up and do you know what you have to do you have to break everything that you did and then do the thing he told you to do now you're working twice as hard your thoughts have to be regulated as if you are in charge of them because you are in charge of them I think we have this idea that there are people who I love this term strong willed this idea that there are people who just are unshakable by bad thoughts and somehow their mindset is stronger than yours I promise you if I crack their head open they got the same brain tissue you do they bleed the same way you do they have access to the same books that you do but the only difference between them and us in a given moment is there are a few thoughts that they chose to regulate not accept and because those thoughts were weeded out it created an environment for a system of thoughts that are in alignment with what God had for them and because that system of thoughts germinated and grew and manifested it then became steps that they could walk out based on the conclusions drawn from the system of thoughts that aligned with what God said and this last thing there is literally no time to waste that is a warning but it's also an encouraging statement because it means if you're following God's instructions you are not wasting time I feel that for somebody I know you wanted the project to jump off I know you wanted the presentation to jump off I know you wanted the business idea to jump off I know the analytics said this is the season this is the time it's my time it's my time it's my time this is my moment I know everything pointed to this specific time and then it didn't happen and you're wondering God you gave me a word I created the schedule here how I said it God you gave me a word I created the schedule I wrote the vision and I made it plain to me for what I wanted when I wanted it how I wanted it and I didn't include you in it and now I can't figure out why what's happening what is it going to happen I'm telling you right now there is no such thing when you are following God's instructions as wasted time because according to Ecclesiastes he didn't make time to waste all of his instructions leave time for everything else there is a time and a season for everything else but he did not create time in his instruction for waste so you want a great foolproof way to honor your time follow his instructions to the letter you are guarantee not to waste time no matter how long his instructions take to manifest it will not be wasted time you have to remember you said you served the same God who in Joel 2 said I will restore the years that the locusts have eaten because he can restore years because he owns time I can't restore years he can restore years and I want you to also remember these locusts in this season your locusts will be your thoughts because locusts cannot do anything in singular form 1 locust will not kill your crop it takes a swarm it's no different from your thoughts one thought is not gonna kill your crop it takes a swarm so this season you need to start getting rid of the locusts that are trying to take the time and the attention that you're supposed to spend on what God is giving to you you need to make sure those locusts have no place to eat in your mind family if you follow his instructions and you keep your thoughts aligned with who he is and you don't waste time you can't lose it'll take time I'm not it will not be instantaneous it can be but in the event it is not it does not mean that you've wasted time it just means it's happening in his time and his time will always be better than our time let's tan family our generation is in a very critical place because we have so many apps and so many books and techniques and how to maneuver and manage and massage in own time we have to make sure that we understand the alignment of how time really works and what will happen is there are times where our own misunderstanding of how time functions in relation to us will for lack of better words it will hold us back and it will create wounds on the inside of us that never really get to heal because we keep thinking we ran out of time for this thing we wanted or we didn't have enough time to do this thing or my personal favorite my time has passed God's time doesn't pass God's time is it just is so if you're here in this house and you have been plagued you have been immobilized with this lie that your time has passed I need you to come down to this altar so we can break that lie off of you your time has not passed we are going to banish every woulda coulda shoulda that has been playing in your mind it is alive it is a trick come on down your time has not passed next group if you have felt the burden who if you have felt the burden of time on you if time has literally become something that stresses you out it's something you don't even it's gotten to the point where just thinking about the time you have gives you a headache and it's gotten you the place where you don't even want to manage it anymore because it is so frustrating because you feel like you don't have enough of it come on down and break that line right here tonight that's not your burden to bear it's not your job to create 25 that extra hour so we have 25 in a day that's not your job come on down come on down we're gonna break the lie of the rat race in the name of Jesus it's God's time and there's enough of it this last group I want to invite down when I spoke of hearing God's instructions if you have not taken the time to start to hear his instructions if you have done things on your own and you know your whole plan when you pull it out and read it God's instruction is not in any part of it if you want to start the life where every bullet of your plan is what God told you to do and you know you're gonna commit to honoring it come on down come on down if you want to start this thing where your thoughts and God's plans for you are the same come on down come on down I'll tell you I spent 30-plus years on my plan and I've spent 10 plus years on God's plan and the ten plus year years on God's plan is infinitely more in yield and in growth and empower and in authority and in love that I could ever generate it in the previous 30 start that journey come on down with us come on down come on down come on down come on down come on down come on yeah yeah yeah come on dad I see ya [Music] father we thank you that you've allowed us to gather for such a time as this where every mind has been renewed around this incredible resource that belongs to you called time where we now know that time is in your hands we release our hold on your time that you may tell us give us the instructions give us the word give us more of your presence give us more of your glory fill us with the Holy Spirit align us with your original thoughts and intent for who you called for us to be so that we can successfully manage the most incredible resource in creation which is time and right now we break the spirit of stress over time we break that spirit we bind it and we cast it out in the name of Jesus you are a God who supplies all of our need and that need includes time so we accept the embarrassment of riches that is the time that you have assigned to the word you've placed over our lives and we commit that from this moment forward we will no longer carry the burden of ownership we will be managers we will be stewards and we will move in such a way that everything we do gives you honor and glory and we will waste no more time from this moment forward now repeat after me Heavenly Father I receive the management of your time I receive your instructions I receive your thoughts and I remove the spirit of waste that it may be replaced with the spirit of abundance and we sealed this right now in Jesus name Amen amen [Music] you
