You're an Italian, known to have quite strong opinions about pizza. Of course, the right opinions. We're testing the limits of our friendship once again. I'm not surprised. Let's do this. The fact that's a carbonara pizza, I love that he’s put it in front of you. Chicago. Okay. How does this look? Wow. How is this a real pizza, this is a joke, right? What is this? This is not pizza. Come on guys. It's like a bread bowl. It's like a bread bowl. We should clarify. What is this? This one. What is that? There’s a special crust on this one. Is it cheese? Parmesan gold crust. So every day I try to learn new words and today's word is bi-annually. Okay. I had to use it. Carbonara pizza next. Wow, look at this. This is a feast. This looks loaded. Oh my gosh, look at that. This is not carbonara of course. No. I'm sorry but what we ate in Italy was. It was carbonara pizza. Look at that. You see the creamy carbonara sauce. Carbonara is without cream. I don't know how many times I’m gonna tell you that. Okay. In Italy, the carbonara pizza had no cream. Now you've been complaining that this isn't pizza. Of course not. But you know recently they discovered on a mural in Pompeii the earliest depiction of a pizza. Something like 200 years BC. Okay. It looks almost exactly like that. I don't believe that. I promise you. Probably because it was burnt. What? It does look very similar. Boom. It does not look very similar. It does not look similar. Don't tell me you had pineapple on it. You never know. I think maybe I can see some pineapple on it. Okay. Alright next up we’re gonna move onto the... Parmigiano reggiano. It’s from the region of Italy that your from. Exactly. This is not parmigiano reggiano. It’s got parmesan golden crust. It also look way more like original Pompeii pizza. Than any of the phoney fake stuff you fed us. Chicken with blue cheese. Blue cheese I can accept on pizza. Look at the fat from the cheese. What is that? Is that spinach? Don’t tell me theres more cream. Look at that. It's cheese. You keep trying to eat this with your hands. I have to. Oh, the folding. I've never seen anyone fold a deep dish pizza before. I didn't even know that was possible. Wow. I'm picking up that you love it so much you want to cry. Let me try the crust. Your not happy. Mate, this is great. You're not happy. This, I'm absolutely loving this. I am absolutely loving this. I'm gonna say so. But first, it's good to try something new, of course. Yeah, absolutely. Well, not that new. They've been doing this in Italy for 2000 years. Exactly this way. The Parmesan crust is interesting. I have never seen in my life before. It's good. Have you tried it? I have tried it, yeah. It's very good. You know that Chicago in Italian means I poop there. No, it doesn't. I promise you. Are you serious? I’m serious. Oh, wow. It literally means. Wait, wait, wait. Theres something else. What did you guys order? Okay, I have to confess. I saw Hawaiian pizza on the. Sit down! Hawaiian is my personal favourite. I know. Controversial on the internet. I'm cancelling your number. On my phone. Would you take apples and cheese and put them together? It depends. Maybe in a salad. Pear and cheese? Maybe. Yeah, definitely. Watermelon and cheese? No. Pineapple and cheese? Yes. Think about it. Andre, you set that up like it was some elaborate trap. In the end, you're just naming ingredients of Hawaiian pizza. When you're born in Italy as a kid, in your birth certificate, you have to sign saying, I will never put pineapple on pizza. That is not. That is just completely made up. Insane, right? It's almost unbelievable. All right. Are we really eating that. Yeah. I thought it was for show. I am most excited about this one. No, no, no, no. Don't cut off all the lines. There are already lines there. Absolute wild man. Cheers, guys. Cheers. To deep dish pizza. I'm struggling. He literally can't put it in his mouth. The pineapple. It's beautiful. He can't do it. It reminds me of love. This is just a completely made up story, isn't it? Yeah of course. You really had me for a second. Oh my gosh no. I just took a bite of the pineapple. Your not a fan of the pineapple. No, I tried it. Okay. This is actually biannually great. Okay, so the Chicago style. It works. Classic. You know, I actually think that may be my favourite as well. This did feel more true to the deep dish Chicago style that we had. I would love though, if they double the size and I would love to try double size. That's how it is in Chicago. And like one slice is like a full meal. Would you say double the size? Yeah. Easily double the size. Wow. I've never ate it in my life. Yeah. Oh, yeah. We need to go to Chicago. I've been to Chicago. I didn't have the pizza. You know, Chicago is the global home of pizza. No. This should be removed from the world. This. Interesting. The parmesan crust is really interesting. Really delicious. This one belongs in Ollies dreams. Okay. Carbonara pizza. It belongs in your dreams, and your nightmares. Well, this has been Chicago style pizzas in London.
