Brits try Detroit Pizza for the first time!

So we've heard some people claim Detroit pizza is the best type of pizza in the world. What are we dealing with here? Because I've never even heard of Detroit pizza before. Pre-greased. Okay. Wow. That is incredible. Holy moly! Did you hear that crunch? When you bite through the crunchy cheese melted side. The tomato sauce on top. Normally, if it's too much tomato sauce, I'm a bit like "meh". Whereas this tomato sauce is perfectly spiced. There's all this garlic in there and there's this cheese melted into it. How did M&M grow up so angry? You know? Seriously. You should have just eaten more pizza. Yeah. I'm actually kind of annoyed that we're just finding out about this. How have I not had this in my life? Guys, you have to try this. Try that. He needs to go for a side, go for a corner bit. Go for a corner bit, yes. Yeah, get that corner cheese corner. What do you mean? The volume, the crunch. Grace, go in. It's so good. It's so ridiculously good. It has no right to be this good. Oh my gosh. Wow. Fantastic. Oh wow. Oh my gosh. Round two and three. Round two and three are out. I don't think I was really prepared for how big each one was gonna be. My wowie. There's a whole piece of bacon here. Oh my gosh. I wanna get some bacon. That first one was so good. I think I actually didn't really believe that anything was gonna be better. I think this is better. So you've got the sweetness of the pineapple, crispy saltiness of the bacon, And then cut through with a little bit of the spiciness from the jalapeno. There's so many different flavours going on in there. If I was Henry Ford. I love that. I'd be absolutely livid. Why? This is invented in one of his factories, presumably on his dime. Right? Yeah. This should be the Ford pizza. He didn't make it. Don't have to give him the credit. This belongs to the people, Ollie. The people of Detroit. I'm an industrialist. Since when? Now back to the pizza. Now this it has pepperoni, jalapeno, honey, parsley and parmesan. Oh my gosh. Detroit. OK. They're classic. They're best seller. All right. Let's go. Oh, wow. Oh, the honey. The honey punches through. The cheese is so rich and melted. That pepperoni is delicious. It's reminiscent of pizza, but it's kind of its own thing. It's like an entirely new thing. It's comforting in the same way that a really good pizza is. It's bready, cheesy, meaty, packed full of garlic and punchy flavours. Incredible pepperoni covered in this Parmesan, Melted in with jalapeno to cut through it all and sweetness of, oh my gosh. I'm having an existential crisis right now. Like what the hell? I'm not just saying this. I think this would be in my final meal. Wow. You said in your final meal. How many things are we talking? It's like an endless course of... Many. It's a buffet. It's a final buffet. Yeah. Fair enough. Me too then. Yeah. Why not? Let's add it in. I think this is my favourite pizza I've ever had. I think it is. Wow. I just spilled sauce on my white t-shirt. Think of it as a good thing. It will remind you of what an amazing time we've had. It's basically like the pizza autographed your t-shirt. One for the mems. Oh wow, there's another one. Round four. Is this the finale? That's a burger. Fantastic. Wow. Fantastic. Now the dangers of experimentation. I worry that we're in a Frankenstein situation here. Yeah, I see what you mean. Where they just got carried away. Too much inventiveness, and they've made something that, Let's be honest, it doesn't look great. Burger on a pizza. It doesn't look great.You don't think so? Well, look Ollie, there's only one way to find out. Oh. Wow.You see the edges there? It's even more cheesy. Yeah. It smells like a bleaker burger. Well yeah, it does. Yeah, yours, cheese is just hanging off it. It's like a chandelier. Okay, chandelier of cheese. Wow, that tastes like a burger. It's quite confusing. It's great, it tastes amazing. But I'm a little bit conflicted. Yeah. There's so much going on. And the thing is, if you gave me that before I tried any of the others, I would be top tier. Yeah, I'd be absolutely, wowwed. That is an incredible pizza. It's just a bit too much experimentation. There's a but there. It tastes amazing. But it's not as good as the other three. I genuinely don't know how you could improve on those three. No. They were complete. You know what? I'm going to crave this. I am going to just crave the heck out of this. There's something about the juxtaposition between the crispy cheese on the outside and the insanely fluffy dough. So you get different textures. Different layers of cheese. That is 100% the top two pizzas I've ever had in my entire life. What was better? I'd say the first time I ever had like proper Chicago pizza. Wow. In Chicago. So neither of those were in Italy. Okay look, don't hate me. Personally, my number two is in Italy. You're an idiot. You're an idiot. That was a Detroit style pizza. This has been a life changing experience. If you are in London, you 100% have to come here. I hope it has conveyed through the camera how just unique this is. I now really want to go to Detroit. So do I. And try the original. Let's do it.
