[Music] good morning you all I'm very excited I'm my way to Arizona for the center Force Adventure round 2024 it's been a couple years since I attended that event and it's always a blast for over 40 years Midway Industries Center Force division has been a leader in clutch technology a true family run and operated company headquartered in preset Arizona the center for high inertia fly with added weight brings benefits for off-roaders the extra heft means more inertia and that translate into several advant es for off-road enthusiasts there's more resistance to stalling at idol and ride off Idol on the open highway I embark on a journey to meet Brad and begin our adventure towards Arizona Brad and I have shared countless memories of attending this event together together we have witnessed the evolution of this event from its humble beginnings to its current epicness [Music] welcome to Alam Lake a Hidden Gem in the desert landscape of Arizona located in the Bill Williams River Valley Alam lake is a pictures Reservoir known for its tranquility and natural beauty so we made it to Arizona this is where we're going to meet the the rest of the group and tomorrow uh the adventure begins the center Force Adventure Run will start tomorrow but tonight we're going to spend the night right right here right by the leg let me show you guys [Music] it's good morning so basically today is the first day of the event the 24 Center Force Adventure Run in Arizona so we were invited to do this um this run and it's really really nice we're going to see new places last night uh we camp uh by this Lake it's a beautiful Lake weather is amazing um well yesterday was around 82° but at night it was in the 60s probably it was really comfortable so um we all got here yesterday and the whole group got together here so we're starting the adventure today and uh I'm going to take you along but first let's talk about the essential ingredient to Kickstart any Adventure a good cup of [Applause] coffee as the morning sun paints the sky and the world awakens there's a common scene unfolding among adventurers everywhere everybody is by their vehicles either preparing breakfast or the first cup of coffee it's a moment that comes without warning often when least expected the first vehicle failure what's going on here oh just examining okay so this is a diesel this part still works but the batter's well the alternator's dead but yeah this is a Mercedes turbo diesel an om617 out of an 83300 DC B today our friend Adam faced unexpected setback and unfortunately he couldn't continue with the adventure good morning buddy morning how's it going going good how was your how was your night perfect comfortable it's awesome I'm so happy to be here uh let me get the the light going there you go Blair Thank you so much again for the invitation man I always enjoy this event and you guys uh you and Trent do a great job putting this together so again thank you so much for inviting me oh it's our pleasure we uh enjoy having you probably more than you enjoy coming along with us but you are like Trent says one of the original OG uh guests of this trip so thank you very much for coming oh thank you again man uh I missed it last year because of my Jeep but uh but I'm here here and next year if I get invited it'll will be I'll bring the jaob for sure perfect this is the fourth edition of this uh amazing event uh Center Force clutches they put it up every year I have participated three times already um I was one of the first ones uh when they when they did this for the first time and I had my JK with a Canta Force clutch and uh the thing is that this guys they know Arizona really really good and um the places that they will take us it's just it's just incredible um a lot of the places here I haven't been to and and every time something new something cool Trent he will never tell us where we're going until the day that we're we're going so he just sent us the location for this spot this is where we camp and we everybody got together last night and uh but today it's going to be something new and and exciting so I can't wait all righty everyone well welcome to the 2024 Center Force Adventure Run y this is the fourth annual event um a select few of us have been on all four there's some that have been on a a couple of them and then some of them is our first time so um we're a we're a small group smaller group I keep it that way for a couple of reasons one I like it you know smaller and more intimate people get to know each other better and and uh and it's less cats to herd for me which does doesn't suck um the Wayside in in RV park uh the beautiful Metropolis that it is anything you want as long as it's 87 we embark on a journey through history as we trace the path from the old Almer Road to the iconic palmerita Ranch feature on the Onyx off-road app the cut over to Tres Amigos waterfall trail offers offer Enthusiast a chance to explore one of the Southwest Hidden Treasures all along the Arizona peace Trail soft kind of clay oh so that's actually uh that is what the white stuff on the Rock here so that's so Trent thank you so much it's been fun man it's the first day of the adventure and we just stopped at this awesome place what what's the deal here so this is the palmerita ranch and this is actually my first visit here as well Vern uh told me about this place and so uh from my understanding based on a book that was in one of the cabins this place was founded right around 1900 or so uh by some Hispanic ranchers and then uh they uh had it up until about 1946 I guess right after World War II and then it passed uh changed ownership a few times I believe it was used all the way up until the 80s believe it or not so but pretty neat very well preserved there's uh over my shoulder here there's a couple of adobe structures that have been subsequently added on to I believe it's currently managed by the BLM but there's obviously people that care about this place because they've done quite a bit to to stabilize and preserve uh what buildings are still here there's s there's even a super clean bedroom there with a bed and everything yeah yeah it was the the gentleman's name was in the book Jeff uh something unfortunately I don't remember the last name but but very cool place and obviously uh uh very well preserved so you know if you if you come out here um you know do your press just take pictures that's that's that's all you're supposed to do awesome thank you so much man so we just arrived to The palita Ranch House middle of nowhere this is an abandoned uh house but it's been uh they've taken care of it so you know we're just going to check it out for a few minutes and see explore and see what's uh what's in this place there's a bed in there so probably somebody stays here palita Ranch a historic Homestead founded in 1840 by Don Francisco Valenzuela and and his sons located in the Santa Maria River area in Alamo Arizona palmerita Ranch ex stands as a testament to the poning spirits of its Founders I couldn't find information of the current ownership but for nearly a century palmerita Ranch has been a Cornerstone of ranching Heritage owned by the same family since 1924 it's always interesting to explore places like this places with a lot of history and you know makes you wonder what what happened here what uh what families live here what do they used to do and uh it's pretty interesting you used to have smaller tires or what's Yes actually I went from a 33 to a 37 oh there you go and I forgot to do some adjustments oh hang out for the good atic Jesse here here the man after immersing ourselves in the Tranquility of palmerita ranch we eagerly press on eager to uncover more of the Hidden gems this land had to offer little did we know the path ahead will test a resolve and ignite our sense of adventure [Music] [Music] open [Music] yeah I this place is packed with the cotton wood trees it's incredible I hope you can uh notice it on the camera yeah probably going to be another Branch you're going have to down as we venture deeper into the Wilderness the trail ahead became obscure by a dense Thicket of brush a testament of Nature's resilience I think this might be a little low with the termination in our hearts and tools in hand we set out to clear the way embarking on a three- trimming Expedition unlike any other yeah you guys might want to watch out over there I was going to try to get up on the hood here and just deflect it as is that cool you guys give me a sec in a curious moment of reflection we found ourselves gathered together counting the number of chainsaws left behind in our garages perfect cut despite the challenges there was a sense of commanderie an accomplishment that United us driving us forward with each brand we cleared hey this is uh a need for the saw back up at the front again so Jesse if you got yours on [Music] go [Music] so this has been quite a quite a ride uh for the last uh hour or probably more within uh cleaning up the trail it's just uh the all the bushes are overgrown and and um it's not bad for like lower vehicles but when you have a rooftop tent it got really crazy it's been fun though after 3 hours of hard work the trail lay before us transformed from an impassible Thicket into a pathway to follow [Music] all right we got one little narrow spot here guys um trees and stuff R over Ranch take it easy all right we have arrived at our water crossing uh we're going to pause here for like 5 10 minutes back that was very interesting uh tight spaces out there there was a lot of brush overgrown and we as you saw we had to cut a lot but now we sto in the side of a river here have a little sandwich somebody somebody's uh over there refreshing in the water and everybody's having uh a little snack before we continue and uh but yeah that was tough look good Brad He's got these fins are good a brief pause for lunch we resume our journey eager to uncover the Mysteries that awaited us on the trail ahead you [Music] is going on I'm not sure she just shut off it's uh one of the more frightening ways to have your day come to a pause just when we thought the challenges were behind us fate had other plans our journey was interrupted once again this time by a second vehicle failure of the day so I got under there because we didn't have spark so that kind of instantly with one of these goes to the crank position sensor so I stuck my head under there you can see the wire coming up from the crank position sensor under there and I figured it made sense to verify that it was plugged in and right about that I came back out here and right about then realized that there was half of a plug without the other part connected so we plugged it back in it runs put a zip tie around it to hopefully keep it from falling apart again looks like the crank position sensor is relatively new um and yeah party on W go with the repairs complete and our Spirits renewed we press on eager to discover what lay Beyond the Horizon feel by the anticipation of the next leg of our journey we embark on the the road ahead welcome to the Maggie Slot Canyon a Hidden Gem nestled within the breathtaking desert Landscapes of Arizona layer named after Maggie a local Legend known for her Advent spirit this lot Canyon offers a journey into the heart of the heart itself as you step into the cool shadows of the canyon you're transported to another world a world of towering Sandstone walls and twisting corridors yep go straight you're okay go to the right a little bit yeah watch your AUD see if you can get a little bit your butt over about 4 in yeah yeah yeah yep straighten out just a teeny bit there you go coming yep yep perfect keep it right there can't get by you but man that is uh that's pretty TI yeah you got a pling card after navigating the tight confines of the Maggi Slot Canyon we emerg into the sunlight excited and eager for more with hearts full of joy and spirits lifted by the beauty of the canyon we happily continue our adventure ready to explore what else lay in store now it got very dusty so we made it to the town of uh Yuka and we stopped at a Pilot uh gas station we got uh some fuel some supplies I got some more water some supplies and now we are heading up the walapai mountains where we're going to camp tonight and and tomorrow only Trend notes where we're going so it's been really really fun so yeah uh let's see tomorrow what uh what's in store for us uh this Trail today was uh was a lot of work we cut down a lot of branches and but it was fun and now we're on our way to Camp where we're going to have a good dinner and uh rest as the sun began to dip below the Horizon casting golden Hues across the desert landscape we knew it was time to bid farewell to the wonders of the day and set our sides on our next destination [Music] after a day filled with Epic Adventures and Unforgettable moments we eagerly pointed our compasses towards our next camping spot the borana mines in the walapai mountains [Music] so guys we just arrived to this amazing camping spot you saw that mine is just amazing and we're going to have some dinner and what I'm making it's I got some asparagus I'm making mashed potatoes from scratch and I'm going to make a ribeye steak all in the jet boil after a day filled with challenges and triumphs there's nothing quite like The Simple Pleasures of a quick dinner and a good night sleep see you in the morning yeah this mine is definitely very interesting it seems like uh it wasn't long ago when it was in producing I think it was a 1980s the last uh uh when they close his mine but it's amazing what time does right it's it's pretty cool The View that this mine has is incredible operational from 1915 to 1980 the borana Mine played a significant role in Arizona's mining landscape particularly as one of the state's leading tungsten producer in 1918 the borana mine stood at the Forefront of tungsten production in Arizona contributing significantly to the war effort during World War I with a depth of 1100 ft nine levels and three Su levels the borana mine show an impressive infrastructure that enabled to produce over 2.4 million pounds of tungsten at its peak by 1987 changing economic conditions led to the conclusion that the mine was no longer viable to operate marking the end of an era for this once driving tungen producer all righty guys welcome to day two of the center Force Adventure Run uh so yeah and here we are at the borana mine hopefully you guys had a chance to kind of walk around there's some really neat old ruins and stuff so all right so the plan for today we are going to continue on into the haapi uh and we are actually going to cross over to the other side we are going to be visiting yet another mine site but this one is really cool it's got a couple of buildings that are um let's just say really unique [Music] [Applause] [Music] so we are leaving this uh awesome camping spot by the by the mine and uh we are going to keep on uh driving all day long today it seems to be a long day according to Trend so yeah I can't wait for this uh for today's adventure I think uh it's been awesome it's been beautiful yesterday was an amazing Trail day uh everything happened yesterday so it was pretty cool now we living this beautiful area check this out we have been climbing for the last I don't know hour or so and uh we are at uh 6,800 ft right now up in the walapai mountains and uh of course weather changing vegetation is changing this is so awesome but um it is only about the Moss wash Trail kicks off with a Rocky and challenging start we navigate through the rugged wash testing our skills and vehicles moving scratching things all week long dude I remember the first the first time I did uh this this Trail it was in the opposite direction and I had the X2 trailer you got it buddy you got it it's going to scrape a little you're good you're good it's coming up there you go nice and easy let the trailer come up you got it hold that line straight through you got it buddy you're good nice and easy hang on hang on that was fun and uh and it was this vehicle but I it was brand new it was a little different with a brand new car that I didn't want it to scratch but uh it worked out pretty good [Music] [Music] [Music] n [Music] [Music] [Music] o [Music] tucked away in the remote reaches of the wapi mountains lies a hidden Jam of Arizona's mining history the Gul king mansion a relic of a Von era the Gul king mansion stands as a Silent Witness of the wealth and prosperity that once flowed from the mountains Minds today the guling Mansion ex stands as a haunting reminder of the bo woman bus cycles that have shaped the history of the American West [Music] we get them up here approaching this obstacle on the trail it's clear that the video doesn't quite capture the full extent of the challenge with wet tires the CR becomes like ice and one wrong move could send you kening down the Ravine below to conquer this obstacle you have to approach it with the almost care barely touching the throttle to avoid spinning the tires and losing control all right with the vehicle High Center on the Rock the safest and most effective option was to winch it out first and just go ahead and start witching in and just ride the clutch a little bit come R the [Applause] you [Music] with the challenging obstacle conquer and the Tacoma safely back on track we continue our journey into the heart of the Wilderness with each passing mile the scenery shifted and evolved offering new Vistas and Hidden Treasures to discover with the day Adventures behind us and the promise of a peaceful Night Under the Stars ahead we set our sides on our next destination our camping spot for the night the Java Pi Ranch arriving at the entrance we were greeted by the requirement to sign in a small but important step in respecting the rules and regulations of the property by signing in we not only acknowledge our presence on the land but also show our commitment to responsible outdoor recreation [Music] with the camp setup and the fire crackling warmly Jesse's craftsmanship brought the campsite to life providing a focal point for relaxation and friendship as the Flames dance in the night sky laughter and conversation fill the air a testament to the bonds of friendship forge on the trail but as the night weree on and the Embers began to fade the weariness of the long day behind the wheel began to catch up with us with the promise of another day of Adventure in the Horizon it was time to bid farewell to the fire embrace the comfort of a welld deserved good night sleep good morning another beautiful morning in Arizona it's a bit chilly right now um but I had a good night sleep yesterday was a long day we had a lot of miles to cover in uh different terrains um a little more difficult and technical than the first uh day but it was really fun uh we found this uh camping spot and because we were late we just stopped here and uh to camp wasn't planned yeah this is a beautiful area last night we uh we set up camp uh everybody cooked something simple uh for lunch uh for dinner I'm sorry I made uh kanada toras simple kanada with the guacamole and and salsa they were really good actually and then we uh gather around the fire uh for a little bit shat and then uh I went to bed and uh I can't wait for today today is the last day of the adventure and um but it seems to be another epic trail that we're going to cover today so I can't wait hopefully you can see it but the sun is coming out in the Horizon it's just beautiful all all the colors are there and just another one of those beautiful Arizona mornings o [Music] one of life's greatest Joys is waking up in the morning to the beauty of nature surrounded by friends and the promise of a new day yesterday I mean we had a great time on the trail as the sun rises higher in the sky casting a warm glow over the campsite it's time for the obligatory driver's meeting before we embark on the final leg of this incredible adventure with the driver's meeting concluded and our Spirits high it's time to jump back on our vehicles and continue today's adventure through the Wilderness leaving behind the Tranquility of the javap ranch we set our sides on our next destination the Jordan Will Trail in the preset National Forest before we bid farewell to the Jabba pay Ranch and Venture towards the Jordan Will Trail there's one last tradition we must uphold signing out the guest book it's a simple gesture but an important one a way of showing respect to the land and the community that welcomes us with open arms she's aggressive though ran over she's big dude that's the biggest snake I've ever seen y oo oh yeah they don't they're not poisonous yeah but it it'll hurt no there you go so Jesse other than fixing awesome Vehicles trimming trees getting us out of trouble I save I save snakes you save snakes that's awesome dude I save snakes we just want to get them out of the road there you go thank
