Installing the Shotgun Comp Sight from HIVIZ

today we're going to install a screw attach bead replacement sight on the shotgun here we have our light wave comp site this site comes with six different light pipes in green red and white in different diameters and what you'll find in the package is the tool to change light pipes the different light pipes the sight base and a variety of screws we include five different thread sizes with all of our screw attached shotgun sights which fit 90% of the shotguns on the market there are a few sizes that are not included that we do have available if you have a shotgun and you cannot find the correct screw size you can call us and see if we have another one or a longer screw there are a few applications where you'll need a longer screw so what we're gonna do is we're going to start by taking the site there's light pipe installed in the site when you get it and we're going to take the tool the tool has a a small projection here on the end of the tool and you want to place this on the muzzle end of the site push down and back slightly this will release the light pipe from the site and give you access to the screw hole now we're gonna remove the bead I like to use electrical tape and place it on the RHIB around the bead just to prevent scratching the rib while we remove it most beads come out relatively easily today I'm just going to use a pair of pliers as bead as is loose and will come out you may want to use something to protect the bead if you do use pliers like small piece of leather now that we have the bead removed remove our tape once we have our sight base set on our rib and we've selected the proper screw it's as simple as merely installing the screw through the site into the rib we recommend putting a thread Locker on the screw and then Center the sight on the RHIB and tighten it down you don't have to tighten it down extremely tight let the thread Locker do the work then you insert the light back through the sight push it into locks to change light pipes in our comp sight light wave use the tool the extra light pipes are stored in a tool that comes with red and green in three different diameters so you use the projection on the tool place it on the muzzle end of the light pipe push slightly down and back and that'll release the light pipe select your light pipe out of the tool insert it into the sight and simply push it forward until it locks it's that easy check out our full line of bead replacement sites at high vis sites com
