Is it a coincidence that the two people living there are young architecture majors?
"each room is built around a different function"
So they just took a normal house and turned each room into separate apartments...
I don't know man, I respect both of those tenants' positive outlook but taking a house and splitting it up into different micro-apartments doesn't seem right to me. Those two empty rooms shown at the beginning look like they would be absolutely abysmal to live in.
If I was in college and really wanted to focus then a tiny apt would be fine. Eating out all the time is expensive though so you'd have cash in the bank for it...
That ceiling looks like it has zero insulation though.
Not much mystery to that mystery hole, I think it's there to allow air flow for that weirdly positioned aircon unit (how could you sleep right beside it??) but it would probably be covered by a mattress... Maybe also to allow light down to the door or possibly a murder hole?
That loft is also only suited to someone very short...
When I was in Argentina I was talking to someone and they said their apartment was something like 300 Sq ft. As an American I was, of course, aghast. She explained it's only for sleeping and that she is out of the house pretty much 18 hours a day. I was kind of jealous, everyone there just hangs out with friends and does stuff all day. Their small places made my house feel empty :(
Dude really loves his bath.
That girl’s room was the best one there. Great living room. Just large enough bathtub with a good demarcation. Then again, the tub seems like a half tub so probably not comfortable. The small kitchen was an excellent bonus.
First room was horrid. So dark and dank.
Didn’t like the second room. The ladder was worrying.
The guy’s room was too cramped. Too many things with too large a bathtub.
architecture girl was adorable
