INSANE Bass Fishing Tournament (WE FOUND THE BIG BASS!)

what is going on it up gang we are coming back at you today with another tournament video did a tournament video last week and a lot of you told me that you really love the video so we're gonna go ahead and do another one i actually went out and fished this tournament a couple days ago i'm not gonna spoil it i'm not gonna tell you what place i got or if i want i'm not telling you anything you just have to watch the video that you just have to watch the video that's it before we hop into it i want to go ahead and apologize because my intro game is so weak i literally film every single intro right here in my driveway and i was actually going to film it on the boat before the tournament but the thing is is i was a little bit late to the tournament so i didn't get to film anything until i started fishing because i was literally like rushing to put my boat in rushing to get my partner stuff in the boat it was like a whole mess but you know what ended up panning out we caught some good fish you guys are going to really like this one stay tuned watch through the whole video go ahead and check this one out it's pretty cool before and i've fished it a couple times i got a point down there but last time i went down there i just caught small ones down in there yeah i don't even know what it's called that bridge is good they'll eat it either way [Music] [Music] i don't know you're ready to move maybe like a couple more casts [Music] we'll just take a couple more casts and we'll go ahead and go you want to run down there and hit that bridge first before we go to the next spot yeah that one down there which one that one yeah whichever one you want let's go ahead we'll just go hit that one i haven't fished it lately but i used to pull them off with a shake yet not as many people fish that bridge like just the corners or like the rip rapper uh i usually fish the the two pilings on the outsides and then the rip-rap corners i mean if we get a bite then we'll just kind of be more thorough we don't have to stay on it for long i just think the bridges the quicker we can hit them probably the better because the sunlight and the shade what i mean someone's just telling me to just go down there i've just learned to just follow my gut in tournament i've caught a lot off these first set of pilings too it's good out here when it's good i fish the root wrap sometimes but it's just so frustrating yeah a lot of people that's all those fish out here because there is a rip rap i mean it looks like it was like fun yeah especially with the wind being like it is i'm gonna pick up my bait and i'm gonna have something on there [Music] only good thing about it being late is we can probably just fish top water at the end i said the good thing about it being late is we can the dark i'll just stay down near the ramp i know a spot down there in that creek that's pretty decent usually i never really have too much water caught some big ones doing it there's a fish oh my half that's a tank oh my gosh let's go oh dude he's freaking choked that thing dude we're gonna have to do a little bit of surgery on this gal that or either i might just leave it in there i can get him through the gills here yeah go ahead and do it just take this not bad go ahead cut the line just cut it right there and then i got a pair of pliers in here they're a little bit rusty they should be in here yeah they're a little bit rusty they're a little bit hard to open oh yeah but see if you can get it i don't know what to do here hold on let's let's put her in here for a second i'm gonna reel yours up real quick did you get it out score yeah put her in there that's a five and a half yeah i do all that you think you need to be fizzed uh no i don't think so all right do you have a needle no i don't i don't either so or can you uh can you reach in there that's actually the cooler yeah yeah and see those that bojangles thing and that two liter give me that you're gonna have to pull them out this is a little trick of the trade right there yeah we can put some of those stuff oh you know what you got to do with that and fill that with you it's not like full yeah like put a little bit of juice in there it should be good to start i'm killing a little thing i can help yeah i got a uh oxygenator on here so that should keep my fist pretty good i got water and gatorade in there by the way all right sweet oh my gosh that's a good start i told you what i tell you about having a good feeling what i tell you to have a gut feeling that's a giant was that that was off that pilot yep oh my the worm on the worms the big worm do you have any of that color oh yeah what do you got yeah i do we might end up having a fizzer to be honest [Music] she's trying to go sideways we can we can kind of redneck up some clips and like get her to sit right side up she did come out of deep water though okay so while we're on the topic of keeping fish alive i want to go ahead and give you guys a couple of tips on what i do to keep my fish alive in tournaments and just whenever i'm fun fishing in the video clip that you guys just watched i was actually taking weights and jig heads and stuff like that i was actually taking these and hooking them in the bottom of the fish's fin to equalize out that fish and that's what these clips right here are for so these are actually fin clips or fizz clips whatever you want to call them i actually just made these like last night i went and bought the stuff for it all i'm using is one ounce bank sinkers and then just a pack of alligator clips and i'm just taking this and spinning it around you can see this is how it normally comes and then i'm just taking it spinning it around inserting the weight right there making my own clips and what you do with these is you clip them on the bottom of the fish on their fins and that way if that fish is laid on its side it'll turn right side up equalize out and that fish will live because if you don't get it turn right side up that fish will die if you guys don't have any clips you can use this method you just take these hooks and just hook it through the fins but that's really not the best thing to do i mean it's better than the fish dying and if you don't have the clips then you can do this like that's what i did in the tournament and the fish lived but at the same time if you guys know you're gonna be out fishing tournaments or out in the boat uh or something like that you should probably go ahead get yourself some clips or get yourself a needle another huge key to keeping fish alive in the summertime is ice and a lot of people actually don't do this but what i do is i fill up two liters or tea jugs or anything that i can with water and freeze them in my freezer i mean this is a solid block of ice and what i will do is i will put this whole thing in my live well and it will cool down that water i'll also grab some ice you know i've got a whole ice tray up here but keeping that water nice and cold and filled with g-juice or please release me is a really really good thing to do and if you don't have that cooler water those fish are going to die in the summertime oh maybe not he might be 14. oh it's going to be close no you're good dude that means you're here here can you go ahead and uh measure that one all right she's going to be real i think it's going to be about 13. yeah i don't think she'll reach go ahead and measure though just just to see oh yes dude this is going to work is that is that uh please release me about or is it just like hard to come out super out is it we might have to dip it in the water and like shake it out oh dude she's like 13 and 0.75 wait isn't she yeah she was not she's fine all right cool real close up how'd it feel always follow your gut all right yo i'm in a tournament just caught a six you caught a dick yeah oh did you die it's just trying to go like belly up but i think i got it i can't fish it because i don't have a needle yeah okay another one hold up i gotta go not a giant it's but like a two and a half three i don't care how big it is maybe not where's she at i hope she'll keep she'll keep let's go baby bam baby let's go both of those stores dude her hook just came off oh my god it's a two-pounder all right yeah i'll talk to you later stick her in that side yeah there's there's a there's some in there if you want to though let's just put her in there without that way it's a little bit easier it's not as stressful on the fish these are the smaller ones no that one bigger than another one come up here oh my gosh dude get that one get that one get that one get that one oh my gosh dude oh my gosh the hook literally popped out all right put her in the well put her with that small one oh my gosh dude [Music] bro this bridge is on fire right now i thought that was going to be good dude that fish was fighting so hard dude he would not come up oh it wasn't moving he would not come up at all i was like what is going on next cash that was the first cast on that piling wasn't it yeah yeah oh my gosh that was second cast yo baby that one on camera i wasn't even recording when i got the bite i had to turn it on mid fight oh do that i was like okay i thought that fish was bigger dude yeah when you hook that i was like all right is he on the island or what's he that fish took it and it was already all the way out there with the bait before i even knew i had it because i just left slack in my line i was just letting it sit there for a second yeah show up late to the derby and then come out here and whack a six or four and a two already that's how we roll around here son i've never fished these bridges like this before i'm pretty sure you're going to fish them now whenever you get it on there just make sure you leave slack line yeah yeah because i really think that the closer you can get it to there and with that straight down i think that's the reason why they're eating it because i'm getting it close and i'm leaving so much slack that that worm is just going straight down with the ribbon tail and it just sits there i think that's why they're eating it so good i mean we're in 20 foot right now i just i've never caught a bass in this lake in more than 16. really that's the only reason why i don't like fishing like super super games in new york i was catching them in 35. oh yeah yeah up there dude it was crazy up there i've caught a lot of fish off that one piling where i just caught that one yeah see it i can feel a ton of rock down there but i'm pretty sure that's a brush pile come on this is my lucky wobble head there we go gotcha you got a fish oh definitely really definitely 100 it's not like one of the smaller ones though do it i'm not gonna lie my [Music] i had to rob a wobble head off that fish i wasn't gonna throw a shake head but i'm like i'm sketched out like if i'm catching them on a wobble head fish just jump down there there you go just fight her just potter oh that's a keeper though am i cool maybe sorry bro now you're good see if she's bigger than that other one you got a balance beam i do not i wish i did i do not though of course of course i don't oh of course i said giant act like this is like a six pounder the same i just ignored me next time i'm not gonna ignore you because one time you're gonna say giant and it's actually gonna be a giant all right that one i'm not kidding felt the biggest i felt the biggest i thought i was gonna pull it up and it was gonna be like a three and a half pull it up three and a half is fine by me oh yeah that's fine i'm not gonna lie dude we keep getting bit we might need to sit here for a little bit more yeah i mean i just i don't doubt we can catch fish here but usually like like it's not a coincidence that the first two ones on each piling were the biggest yeah that's true yeah we'll we'll run up we'll hit that bridge let's see what it does if we're not getting bit on any other bridges we'll come back down to this one after we hit like the spots or whatever but we don't need to sit on them for like a super long time because we know we can catch them right here you know what i mean yeah if he's saying 10 to 12 pounds normally wins that puts us as normally winning but yeah i won't feel good till we get that two out yeah we changed that into a four pounder i don't know i wouldn't even want it to be i get sick i mean that would be nice but it'll it'll at least make me feel a little bit better with that four yeah adding two consoles i'm 14. maybe just shy of 15. how many gotta think about it there's five boats versus like 20. that's true so i don't get how i caught two fish off this without even getting home and then i keep getting home i'm so glad you brought these orange literally [Music] [Music] are you serious dude what if those are actually all bass i think they are there's no way [Music] that's way too small they'll come back out oh yeah i got an alabama rig it's literally tied on right there i'm kidding i totally forgot i even had that you should have saw it throw that in there that would have been insane imagine like doubling up on two i've caught two fives on a rig before at the same that's time my favorite to be honest yellow my fish is good now by the way yep it's stable i thought you yeah i'm glad we just need to get that one four or five pounder and i think we'll have it uh i thought they need these fish for water oh you got that water cold i just want to see if i can catch one i there some of those that were blowing up seem bigger so i don't know i mean there's potential for there to be a big one in there it's just like you gotta catch it there they are [Music] time to weigh them in that's that's a bag here's my bigging right here 19 is like a good way to see how much that one weighs i'm thinking i don't know if it's even that big to be honest [Music] almost six dang we thought we had it how much 11.92 i literally should have 12 pounds exactly that's all right i'm gonna put them back in a while because i'm gonna take a picture of them all right all right guys just wrapped up the day and we did catch some good fish but we actually ended up in second place like you guys saw we had i think 1198 and first place had like 18 or 19. they absolutely smoked us but we did get second place so i'm i'm satisfied with our performance but i'm just plagued by the second place i can't seem to get that first but i'll go ahead and show you guys our total bag right here this is old big girl that is a six pounder it was like 590 i believe and we've also got our other two in here this was a three fish tournament oh gosh here's big girl number two nice and alive and there's our other two right there very much alive even if we could have got this fish out the fish would have to be like nine pounds to put us in the wind but that is how we did today so yeah all right we're gonna go ahead and let these guys go this is the small one boy let that one go these two big girls right here they are gonna have to be revived a little bit but i think they're gonna swim off just fine and this is old big girl right here
