INCREDIBLE INDIAN STREET FOOD TOUR in Mumbai | Eating with a local

today is a great day because we're in Mumbai feeling healthy most importantly feeling hungry finally there has been nearly enough Indian food and all I have left the village well that's all changing today so last night I was on the computer trying to plan like a little bit of a DIY food tour trying to figure out what we should eat here in Mumbai and then an angel message dish on Instagram a local girl said she would take us around and show us all the best street food here Mumbai so we're heading to meet her now [Music] [Music] [Music] she's not a guide but she was nice enough to offer to take us understood she brought a meal for my lateness for us because of this it's fun this is so good the Chinese pretty spicy hi guys this is a great start Michael then I will because you don't get anywhere so our driver took us to our second stop which is this dosa Stan I told Kavita that we had dosa in the airport and she said it is nothing like this fairly Airport dosa doesn't even compare which fixes [Music] okay candy that has ordered that the genie dosa so dosa is basically funny mainly rice with some dog we flatten it out on this big pan and they put toppings on top and it looks like a peanut and then they roll it up and cut it we have cheese and so many beds my favorite I see some cilantro in Africa I guess how do you eat it get out like that it's like an Indian burrito like a really thin Indian burrito that is so good the cheese it's like melted to perfection in the outside so crunchy beautiful sweetest box right next door we just bought two sets from where we went to this other food stand this is Jackie booty da da means curd which is this white yogurt e stuck and then three is the bowls and the crumbs left and it's made out of flour he stuffed potatoes in it and then put these little crunchy things on top and some cilantro and you see people eating every city we've been to so far they're super popular they have all different kinds of fillings we could get this others told me to eat it faster because it was going bad just picking one I'm just beat up what my that is so amazing so cold yogurt is like so refreshing it like coats your mouth right before the spices so it's a really good combination the attendees will get a suite what is this where I'm in inject me tamarind chutney oh my gosh the combination of the cold yogurt with the sweet tamarind chutney is the curry on top oh so great now we're heading to our third stop where we're trying what up phone home by step is food [Music] convenient favorite bottle compilation that nobody knows about it many people around [Music] so from what I've observed could be they can correct me if I'm wrong this is just a deep-fried potato it was cooked in this flamin hot oil and the guys just touch it like right out of the oil flow from that is so amazing the garlic chutney is so good and the potatoes have this delicious like freshly deep-fried crunch on the outside and then the middle of it just melts in your mouth and then this sets off friends the potato got some herbs in it and so it's like the next dish that we're trying is called Belle hurry and you basically have these super thick flour chips and then they mix it with puffed rice some of the yellow crunchy things that were on the other party dish that we tried and then there's onions there's cilantro there's potatoes so it's almost like like the Indian version of chips and dip it's just like a crunchy snack all rolled up in oh okay it's almost made a huge mistake you have to use your chip like a spoon so you don't eat every chip otherwise I was going to run out of chips and I was just gonna basically have the dip left over so that was the improper way that's the proper way [Music] [Music] it's sometimes I love yeah convenience box all the blog she knows I love coffee but chai it's a really fun substitute why were in it yes I can hardly hold it in so fun hoping this doesn't burn my taste buds off-center sister oh yeah that's spicy it's nice break my food next up we have stop for a dish that I did not know existed until we came up to this sandwich and we just ordered masala toast and basically it's a sandwich it has a base of like this spicy potato mixture and the midis piled vegetables on top and then they take the entire sandwich they put it in this little sandwich compressor that they cook it with over an open flame and it just becomes perfectly toasted really oh yeah they finish off the top with just a ton of butter over the bread hey weirdly almost has a pizza flavor and I think that's so I'm salting it with the lunch stuff and it must have been garlic so yeah it's just delicious I normally don't like beetroot okay Kathy they asked if we wanted something to help us digest our food and she gave us this little pet that stuff haja Mona you just see one yeah it smells weird to chew it up and swallow it just they just like you eat a chocolate oh I like that all you get species like a rotten egg I don't know yeah it's like a window now you'd like it's not just some kind of joke no you get it anyway if you see him a bit overdramatic doesn't smell that bad oh gosh uh-huh that tastes the way sulfur smells you know the way like rotten egg smell this tastes like a meeting sulfur in this place is absolutely that I've never been to a beach with this many people we are currently in search for the foods that I've been most excited to try since our last savory dish of the tour we're trying pod body and from the way I understand they basically was taking a bunch of vegetables and mashed them together into this view red sauce the main ones being Tomatoes potato onion and capsicum and it comes with this butter soft bread and you basically just eat like you were like a bread stick to marinara sauce just go for it he's get the bread and the sauce so good it's just like the Indian version of breadsticks and marinara sauce that you would get is like a side dish when you order in the u.s. anything else I need is food I was weird and this budget just seems like a really it scared me just a really cute piano track that might be what it is yeah salty slightly sour sulfur do you eat this yeah okay we made it the smells not as bad as you make them sound um you just have a good smell I can smell the way it tastes good days
