[Music] this is what true sadness looks like sadly today is our last day aboard the Irrawaddy explore our ten-day trip up the river is coming to an end we're about to be kicked off the boat for good ten days is a long time Fred and we've spent so much time with the people on this boat I feel like they're my family and we're just leaving them forever even though we have to leave the boat for good exactly sure what he was trying to tell me but our first stop in the morning is at affogato that supposedly houses the only Buddha image that was created during Buddha's like this is one of the most holy Buddha images in all the world is people from all over come they put gold lead on this Buddha it said that the gold leaf is over seven inches thick so there's literally tons of gold on this Buddha image and it's so holy that even the women can't go inside so I was able to go in and get a little bit of video but Kara had to stay outside [Music] the really cool thing is after this we're actually gonna go see how the gold leaf is made and we hear that's a very labor-intensive process on the right side you will see this is the stove carbon water [Music] this is the process six-hour eight hours a day it would take you a year and a half to even alter [Music] [Music] our guide told us that Mandalay it used to be known as Lydia fights but now its own is the city of motorbikes really hard to cross through [Music] all the way all the way all the way been wearing this a lot lately and the sunset light is really pretty right now I thought it would sure trouble taxes basically it is a big impedes the fabric I bought it like a shark so I wear like this but it comes in handy to cover your knees you've been wearing a tank top I wear like a Shaw if we're going in a temple or something or if it's cool recently I've been wearing it as a skirt so just wrap it like this take it in I'm wearing a bathing suit covered up it just meant so many use it I haven't had one of these until this year and it's really come in handy so I just thought it would share in case any girls maybe I should have found a quieter place [Music] okay so the way that it works to deal with these plastic baskets that have all of these skewers of meats and babysitting out you grab whatever you want they all cost like a slightly different price I think they range anywhere from like $2 down to less than 50 Cent's we're in a go through we're gonna grab some stuff that looks good and then they're gonna cook it up on a charcoal grill course should be fun that's definitely chicken make cool look at this I love these relations look asparagus that looks like some whoo I want some okra monster bok choy we sat down at our table and our goals and spirit are wrapped in my sanitary plastic how looked around thinking maybe they only give these to jurors but everybody gets them so you know your stuff screen [Music] beautiful as this I love things cooked on a grill this was like for me we're being honest a little nervous about our first meal vote I didn't think there was anything in the amar that was good as well we've been in it for the last two days think it just any weight anything unit I think I'm most excited about this we had these little mushrooms on the boat I don't know what time they are and they're wrapped in bacon yeah no cloudiness do you have any suggestions think I can get all my buddy [Music] Carlos piping and then these kind of motions are like crunchy I love them and then of course the little charred edges it's gonna be so good I also got some okra some bok choy some more veggies wrapped in me that I'm not positive and a kebab looking one with pepper Wow that was so good I feel like a lot of times like kara loves everything on the video and so maybe like stuff kind of blends together like does that really as good as she made it sound this was as good as she made it sound and the best part is this entire meal cost nine dollars we each have three veggies peelers three meat skewers as much as we get both you know we paid a total of nine that's just like the best guy Myanmar is really [Music] all the basically who maybe take a picture too
