hello and welcome home I mean welcome to project zomboid and for today's video we're doing a simple challenge the rules for the challenge are simple we are not allowed to set a single foot Outdoors otherwise we will fail the challenge standing right here is perfectly fine but is bad if we go out we can use anything in the home to our advantage whether it be for disassembling or just simply using it as a barricade and any other type of loot we get to keep and use for anything that we would like so don't get mad at me if I get something good I will be a carpenter who is obese and is prone to illness agoraphobic strong a fast learner unfit handy and low thirst character's name is homy Homer and he looks like a certain yellow man and without further ado let the challenge begin to get this started off I'm just going to close all the blinds I want to make sure that none of them can see me there's a few items that I'm going to need in order for this to be a successful run I need a saw and maybe seeds but I doubt I'm going to get those and a saw here we are okay now we need to get everything rounded up and just make sure that we have the enough supplies to make it I did give myself this backpack with a hammer the starter kit because honestly I doubt that I would have gotten a hammer and a saw in the same house so it's just more convenient for me I also turned up the survival Essentials to be a little more common cuz again finding all of these items in one house is a nightmare that also reminds me about the life and living so we're going to disassemble just about everything in this home we have a lot of carpentry skill and a lot of strength low Fitness because we're not really going anywhere give me those baggy jeans and that hat cover up my bald head we're going to rip the stuff up into sheets or bandages guns will just kill us so we're never going to okay I just accidentally hopped over the railing as I was saying guns are just going to kill us there's just one big dinnerbell there's a sewing kit I don't know what I'm going to use this for but I'll take it some disinfectant I'll take soap and tweezers and tissues and for the books here a how to use generators manual uh metal work magazine herbalist uh a book of BU farming so we're probably not going to make it very far in terms of you know long-term survival that's just because we don't have have any seeds uh to plant anything and we are obese as well so we can just not eat for a long time and just cut our weight down we're probably not going to make it past 30 days so we don't need to worry about water so I think we should get to disassembling our stuff excuse me TV I'll put you there I'm planning on Surviving until the helicopter event and maybe test the defenses of our home and this is why I took a high carpentry skill there's a lot of disassembling and we're going to need every little thing every plank every nail we want nothing to go to [Music] waste we're getting hungrier that's a good thing just got a skill in fishing from watching exposure survival more disassembling we'll eat these zucchinis and onions they're low in calories and we got to try and get rid of the perishables before the inevitable so now we've just got to collect all the planks and nails and try and board up whatever we can we'll probably run out of nails before we run out of planks no those are screws I don't need screws I need Nails screw you screws boom bam boom bang boom boom okay that's three Windows done two more to go yep and I was right we ran out of nails I'm going to take the curtains off these windows since you can't see out of them and we'll just drop the sheets on the doors here yep and I think that's it that's all we really have this is what we've got to work with one thing I can do though is move the TV over here to the front door all right I think that's enough work for today this nice blue chair will be our bed 6:00 a.m. with the cooking show on the TV and a level in cooking let's start organizing everything that we have we'll toss everything in the fridge here that should last us to the helicopter we'll bring all of our literature in here we'll place it in this closet weapons will go in here underneath the kitchen sink we count these planks as Weapons I don't really have a use for them we'll put a bunch of our useless stuff here in this right sink right here medical supplies will go in here as well as other bathroom items we'll put both of these lamps here in my bedroom or my chair room if you will the scrap wood will go in this oven as well as the laundry just got another level in carpentry let's turn all the lights off as well and there we go all done this looks like the room of a psychopath I want this rug in my room a rug on top of a rug nothing better it looks like [ __ ] and I love it we're going to read this book about farming and watch TV at the same time all right let's go to sleep it's day three and we're going to continue reading our book about farming and that was it farming's done completely red quite literally we have nothing else to do so what are we going to do until the helicopter hits well like any normal person we are going to exercise guys specifically focusing on our fitness it is abysmal squats situps running stuff like that 60 Minutes of squats amazing and then 60 Minutes of situps and now we're going to run excessive exertion that's what we want [Music] [Music] [Music] let's have a rest let's go to sleep yep we're going to be feeling that in the lower body and we are starving to death some crackers and some dry ramen noodles now we shall exercise again you know what man [ __ ] it I'm bringing the TV upstairs and I can't pick it up for some reason we're dropping the TV right [Music] here we're tired again so I guess we're just going to kind of rinse and repeat everything that we're doing up until the helicopter [Music] hits you hear that there's a zombie somewhere oh [ __ ] they broke my window oh damn down whoa all right let's pop the lights on let's fuel up before this fight get some protein in some tuna this one had a digital watch it's 4: a.m. I can't do anything about the zombie I can't go outside to kill him he's just going to beat through that window have at the coward we just lost a window to one zombie I got an idea all right Fred you're coming with me we're dropping the fridge in front of this window and now we will continue with our exercise almost to level one and we just hit the next level in carpentry ah I see we've grown a nice big beard so far we've lost around 3 kg and we're still going down just hit that next level in cooking [Music] [Music] he [Music] you know this is how I used to play project zomboid when I first got the game I used to just hide away in a home and just live off of whatever I had and then when everything ran out in this home I'd run over to another and just hide in that funny how much I've changed since [Music] then we just hit our first level in Fitness for the extra level of Fitness we get to indulge in some potato chips a reward for our hard work you know this challenge is teaching me a lot about how useful the fast learner trait is I mean the XP is just crazy oh [ __ ] um the helicopter's on us quick hide in the closet I it most definitely seen us sleeping in our chair oh man it's going to stick around for a bit isn't it okay it's gone let's see what zombies are roaming hello hello is anybody there I think we did it eat all this cereal in celebration hooray we did it we survived we made it past the helicopter event I'm proud of myself okay so I think we've accomplished everything that I wanted to do but I hope you all enjoyed this little one-off Challenge and if you have any ideas for a video in the future
