[Music] hi guys i got a lot of requests for joe messina and his brother-in-law sal vitale so i thought i'd tell you what i know and i found out about them joe messina became the boss of the bonanno family way back when when there was a rub out of three captains who were trying to become the boss there was a whole conspiracy behind their back sunny red sonny black and a guy named trini they killed all three of them there was a hell of a lot more shooting i'm not going to get into all of it joe messina became the boss he was friends with john gotti john gotti was talking to us the gambino family to back him and we were backing him when i say we it was the bosses who were backing him and uh he took over his brother-in-law sal vitale they were childhood friends supposedly he taught him how to swim when he was a kid so he had a long long history with him so he knew everything about him they became brother-in-law's i don't know who married her whose sister and who's whatever not important but somebody got married they were brother-in-law's as well and he made him a friend of ours a maid guy and uh eventually he promoted him to a position of a captain trump messina went to prison for a while and he promoted him to the underboss of the family and acting boss of the family now many people in other families in disputes we met with him i met with him a number of times something big with some company that they had that the unions the teamsters were striking them and unionizing their company and so on and so forth and sal had come to me and talked to me about the union if i could control it i didn't know anything about the strike i'm not really a union guy i just controlled bobby sasso who was the president of the union when i spoke to sally he said simon there's people on the street i can't stop this we're picket signs if i stop this right now i'll lose as the president i mean they'll know i sold out we have it won i wouldn't even know what to say to the membership i can't just do that so i said all right what can you do you're winning the the beef they're gonna sign right yeah is there different kind of contracts oh yeah there's a contract that would strangle this company higher wages higher benefits everything and then there's a [ __ ] contract where they're union to people they'll get a little bit of an increase and not really nothing when you win could you in your negotiations could you give him the bottom contract if you tell me to don't do it yet but i'm telling you to do it but don't do it yet i want to talk with the people on the other side about sal vitale and he came down and sit with me and when i sat with him i said listen this is what i could do with these two different contracts i can't stop the street and it's in the middle of the street there's people picketing we can't stop it and your friend lost it's just a matter of signing and it's a matter of days there's nothing i could do i could give him the [ __ ] contract but i want a hundred thousand oh my god sam you're shaking me down what'd you say well it's like shaking me down brother we're brothers you want to talk to me like that i'm shaking you down i'm making a guy save a fortune number one number two we have intentions of taking something off the top that goes to the union people maybe 20 25 30. the 70 that remains we will split it with your family does that sound like a shakedown to you oh my god sam you didn't explain you didn't give me a chance to explain it as soon as i told you what the number would be you said i'm shaking you down i'll give you that back you didn't say it that's the deal that i'll do otherwise i can't do anything you go in the street with your people and see if you could stop it and do what you want he made the daily apologize wasn't a bad guy to deal with he made the deal and that was it sal vitale and most of the captains in the column and the bonanno family flipped they started cooperating there was problems they went one after the other one after the other including sal vitale joe messina was in prison he was found guilty on a case i believe he got life without parole and he flipped in there without anybody's knowledge he made a deal with the government that he would do a few things he'd give up everything they ever did the whole family one two he would order this guy vinnie gorgeous they called him vinnie gorgeous not because he was good-looking he was a good-looking guy but he owned beauty parlors gorgeous beauty piles and they called him vinnie gorgeous he was very loyal to joe messina so he called him sitting by his side was the fbi with tapes and everything he said they were going to come with another case against him i want you to go and kill i believe it was the prosecutor or somebody but i think it was a prosecutor freddie gorgeous was not only good looking and all these beauty piles he was that very dangerous guy and he agreed on tape so he destroyed his life many gorgeous got arrested he's still alive he's in prison he'll die in prison think he was in his 40s or late 30s 40s when he when he got pinched and then stories came out that sal vitale was a cop when i first heard a cop that's his brother-in-law a guy couldn't have been a cop he was a prison guard same thing as a cop different form but he's a cop oh my god it was verified now you were the boss this was your brother-in-law you know this guy was a prison card he was a cop and you lied to everybody and hid it now if we were all on the street john may chen joe messina would be killed instantly without hesitation no negotiations no nothing he's got to go his brother-in-law got into false priesthens he's got to die and he would go so the story just got uglier and uglier a lot of people who talk about joe macdonald well he was a boss he was one of the first bosses who ever cooperated maybe officially but when you bring a cop get it made in the life that's beyond cooperating i'd rather a guy take the standing rat then do something like that that undermines everything and the proof was in the pudding when sal vitale the underboss acting was flipped all the captains flipped almost every single one it was that devastating so i hear a lot of you saying yeah joe master was a good guy give me a story about him sal vitale was a great guy tell them tell me a story about it here's your story this is what they want i never talked about it i was actually going to talk about it on my podcast but the the compliments he was getting every time i think it am i it turns my stomach what they did and how they did it it's not that the guy got pinched and whatever and he was gonna rat i mean that's nauseating as it is but this just was icing on the cake especially the part about making him and this sal vitali sat down with me i was the underboss at the time under bosses bosses look what you brought in look what you did there's no larger even cooperating there's no larger violation to goes and ultra than that knowing you brought a guy in who was a cop now i'm not a cop hater but they take an oath they do their thing i respect them for what they do i do we take an oath and we do our thing we're just in two different places and we should never ever be together maybe you guys will like the story it's confirmed it's documented vinnie gorgeous last i had heard which was a while ago he was in the same [ __ ] i was in the adx supermax i don't know if he ever got out of it i don't know him personally he's not one of my best friends that i'm talking fam he's a friend of ours with balls that's why i'm talking about him in a positive way he was loyal betrayed by his boss john gotti was a betrayer as a boss when people ask me questions when you think back would you want to go back when i think back of the time i grew up with around tato and all so many guys i would love to go back to that but the way it ended up no i have no desire to go back i love my team my family much more than i love goes in austria i have good memories there but i also have these memories i know these stories i feel them i'm even goes in austria now as i sit here in a different form maybe but this is my story to you guys who wanted to hear this story about joe messina let me give him a nickname like i gave my one of my people big rich peanuts i give everybody a [ __ ] nickname fat ass joe messina if you can hear me i know i think you're still alive [ __ ] you for what you did to your own people bro even family members i understand [ __ ] you you fat ass dick sound vitale i don't know how mad i am at you really wasn't your fault you took a note to be a cop and you were a prison guard i'm not going to talk disrespectful to you but i don't know why you came in and even what you did you should have just said joe i'm a cop i'm not coming in here bro this is a different uh lifestyle but you did what you did i'm not mad at you i guess that's the end of that story if you like this video press like press and subscribe there's a guy who texted me i'm not going to press subscribe you don't like me or whatever but pressing subscribe gives me the power to do more stories to do more things to open up more doors for everybody so if you like him and you don't like me don't press it if you like me and you love the stories and the the people that i'm working with my team press subscribe it gives me more strength with these companies to get more things done i'll get it done anyway but if you'd love to help me i i would love it if you'd love to come on patreon is growing we have the stories there no commercials no ads you may be a little disappointed right as soon as you come in because there's a lot but maybe you want more i'm giving you my word now there's going to be a lot more and i'll i could say that because we're working on it my team i keep mentioning their names my son comes in and we work 8 10 12 hours a day saturday i don't mean
