hey gear seekers i'm nick when we did the original meshlicious video there was a lot of people complaining that it didn't come in a full mesh version of the case well i've got some news for you guys here's the white version of the sunny-side up meshlicious in a full mesh version so what we did in this video is we did a build we tested the thermals and yeah we made a white small form factor pc it looks pretty cool what are we calling it clear the ice cube yeah 99 baby roll again [Music] as usual with these builds on the channel we build with parts that we have on hand and i like to use these types of builds as therapy i tried to make this as clean as possible so yeah let's build it and then we'll talk about thermals and all that jazz so let's jump in [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] all right ladies and gents i hope you enjoyed this build in the full mesh version of the sunny side up meshlicious in white you can do it put your back into it all right let's take a look at the thermals what you're seeing on screen right now is the thermals are pretty darn excellent now there's going to be questions about whether or not it's the right way to put fans in a case like this from our testing and from other tests that other people have done we've done quite a bit of testing with the original mesh solutions we found this to be the most efficient way to put the fan so what you do is you intake from the sides and you exhaust out the front of the case there's also results with the fans the other way and you can see that the components get quite a bit warmer than if you have it this way so this is just a bit of a word of advice just yeah have your fans exhausting out the front if you're using the meshlicious especially this all mesh version now by the time that we make this video i think the sunny side up meslicious is probably going to be ready to be released or i think you can buy them already i'm not quite sure what the whole story is yet the difference between this one internally and the black one that we originally reviewed and i i think i'll put a link in the top right hand corner for that the main difference is this one here doesn't have the pcie gen4 riser cable so we have to do a little bit of wizardry to get this to work which is just plugging in an older gpu and whatnot and changing it in the bios but yeah this one here is not exactly the same but it's close enough all that aside let's quickly chat about the parts in this build the cpu is the intel 11 600k now i chose this cpu because we've used this cpu with quite a few other small form factor builds lately and mainly all the itx stuff that we've done just as a bit of comparison and whatnot just because we know how this is going to perform the motherboard is the gigabyte z590i vision d we've not used this board before and the reason why i put this system together is i'm going to keep it together for a little while to test a couple other things bye bindi see mate or not she's just rubbing her face on the edge of the table it's not even capturing that in frame it's so cute she's such a menace the reason why i went with this board is we've been getting quite a few questions lately about whether or not any of these new boards with thunderbolt work with thunderbolt audio interfaces no one's really been able to answer that question and we've got a comment about it this morning as well so i'm going to be the guinea pig and we're going to find out so that's going to be coming in a video a little bit later i'm going to have to go and buy a thunderbolt audio interface now claire yeah so we're gonna have to do that but yeah that's the motherboard that we went with we also cooled it with the deepcool castle ex240 white edition i just used the standard fans there's as little rgb here as possible considering you can't really see it although you know it is the ice cube you can do it put your back into it build the ram is 16 gigs of team group extreme argb the white edition of the ram at 3600 megahertz for storage we went with the new team group a 440. it's one of those seven giga second m.2 drives we've got a full review of that drive coming really soon actually and we're going to do raid 0 with it as well we've got four of them so we're going to do what we did last time with bifurcation and see how fast we can go but that's coming in a couple weeks time when we get around to it the gpu is the power color hellhound 6700 xt this is the first time we've used it in a build and when i was planning this out in my head i'm like i was going to use the reference 6800 xt but i wanted to make it like icy and this is the default color on these fans here on the gpu and you can't change them so i was like you know what it's going to be the ice cube because the last one with this color scheme was the iceberg because it was big and this is a nice cube because it's small right because it runs really cool too which you probably already saw in the thermals other than that i'll put all the parts that we use in this system in the pc part picker list down below and i think that's basically going to do it for this video i didn't want this video to be too technical or too involved i wanted to know what the thermals would be like with this cooler in particular and these mesh side panels so more than anything i made this video out of pure curiosity because that's what it's like sometimes i'm like hey i wonder how that would work and yeah we found out in this video if you guys like the music you heard here that was a weird segue claire our music is available on patreon i make all the music if you want to get early access for videos like this one head on over to float plane once again thank you so very much for watching i'm your boy and quick gear seekers you peek we seek and i think it's time to engage cinematic mode just a little bit of cinematic goodness at the end of this video so enjoy i hope you guys enjoyed and here's some eye candy see you later catch you next time thanks for watching [Music] foreign [Music] foreign [Music] foreign [Music] hey you
