you just stay for open gym we wouldn't have that much money and stuff we just split it go to the store get snacks and stuff like spending dollars two dollars three dollars no money if you can't break really i don't know people for me i'm keen on that recently i i wasn't always doing that microsoft or doing that but recently that's been like a really a key thing for me keeping my body right keeping everything intact so so you won't get injured don't get injured and just like being able to play all these games in a short amount of times when did you start i probably learned at usa camp like we had like 10 practices in five days like keyed in on recovery make sure your body was good after every practice so making sure you got time to make sure your body's good everything's good before you leave but before that you didn't really know about it nah before and and before that i was like i was younger so i was just playing a little bit you get a ball you got a ball yeah i gotta use the tennis ball keep that bro i have a terrible book bag bro i do not want to invest in a book bag next i got my cousin too right here for a night come on i haven't listened to it all day where's the like like a more of an internal like push like you're close like like to where you want to be the nba you're close you're close to getting there so that like seeing those pros and being around them and even working out with them see how hard they go even though even after they made it see how hard they still going every workout that's probably like more of an eternal push for me like i i gotta the new york basketball draws a lot of attention so when you're from new york like everybody's looking at new york as like oh that's new york i want to see basketball from there just like just like kind of feet you went for a long day especially especially if you can't take a joke you went for a long thing that's how you really get it done you feel me no i mean i thought you really could have so it's kind of rough to get a gym guess find a good schedule but before the high school season went in the gym every day we put in a lot of work me and marlo a lot of work yeah middle school really i met i met this guy my guy dame i was trying she for me he told me yo you actually you see me play a little bit he had faith in me everybody else no other team really besides which kids was really jacking me everybody was like yeah you're not ready you know you don't really play ball you're just a little you you're a kid with a little bit of height but you don't really hope for real and then i guys play so for me come running with the older guys when i was younger deli right here deli right over there you need a little bath but the court went right now so it was really so they're kind of active on instagram yeah especially over here like when like for me when i got a game or something big game everybody already know what's up everybody posting it like i'm coming like a family here i love it they say you go to dyckman you have like a game that you have 30. that game is going to be known for a long time like you won't have respect people will be like oh yeah i know him he played in dyckman anyway he goes people don't recognize him like street basketball in new york is very like very important you gotta have the best can't forget the bed right here you get it right i can't forget that so the deli really matters you can't just go to anybody yeah you can't just go to any deli okay just keep your head down and keep working really that's probably the best advice i've gotten for uh dean told me that one of my coaches told me that just even though you're getting a little a little buzz or whatever it's only in new york you still got a whole a lot of basketball to play still kind of a collegiate level and even beyond that if you want to go that far but like just keep working like don't worry about what everybody else is doing just stay in your own lane and just lock in [Music] bounce back so how'd the game go man we had the game in our hands man like it was they we it got to like a four point lead it was only up four in the third right four point lead and then we blew it then like we gave up on ourselves they gave up on they saw definitely had a chance to win that game though [Music] locked in oh yeah over here in the bronx everybody's humble everybody's humble you me or be on the phone with me and stay up like we would literally stay up until six a.m and go to the courts and i'll just rebound for him and he would just work out i swear to god it would be six in the six a.m during covert he wasn't even supposed to be outside my parents would be like why are you going outside for just for him just to rebound and he would just put up shots a lot of shots he
