hi I'm Zoe have you ever liked someone so much that you'd do anything to be with them even going so far as to change who you are as a person one day I was out for lunch with my grandma and when I went to the bathroom I saw my boyfriend Evan out in the carpark he was pressed up against some guy and it looked like they were sharing a really intimate moment I almost puked was he cheating on me I went to pee and when I came out he was gone I couldn't stop thinking about what I'd seen did Evan like guys that guy he'd been hugging had short blonde hair I looked in the mirror my hair was long and black normally girls get jealous about their boyfriends looking at other girls but suddenly I was jealous of this boy I didn't ask him about it the next time I saw him because I was too embarrassed so I decided to test him Evan do you think my hair is too long I asked him it's nice babe but I think short would look cool too he replied I knew it so the very next day I went straight to the hair salon and asked them to cut all my hair off so that it would be super short I was shocked when I saw my reflection I looked like a boy but I didn't stop there I bleached my hair blonde that night my parents were horrified and when I saw Evan at school the next day he couldn't believe it he said I looked cool and gave me a kiss and I swear it felt more passionate than normal usually I wore pretty dresses but the next day I went shopping I walked right past the girls section and started looking through the guys sports clothes the store assistant tried to tell me I was in the wrong part of the store but I just glared at her and she backed off that night Evan was taking me to the movies and when he picked me up I was wearing a baseball cap and baggy jeans that date didn't go well he looked at me weirdly and sniffed the air could he smell I was wearing men's cologne after that he stopped kissing me as much and one day we were eating lunch together and his phone lit up a guy named James I knew it was that blond guy suddenly the jealousy crept back up and I decided to take it further I went to the doctor and told him I didn't like being a girl and that I felt like I was in the wrong body he took it quite seriously and prescribed me special hormone pills that would help me grow facial hair and deepen my voice it took a few weeks before some hair began to appear on my face and one day in music class I was asked to sing a solo that's when my voice started to break and one girl in our class said Wow Zoey is turning into a guy I smiled that was what I wanted right but then the worst thing ever happened our prom night arrived I decided to wear a suit my mom just cried and asked what had happened to me and when Evan picked me up he was quiet he wouldn't even look at me and when we walked into the school everyone started whispering about me can suddenly evan turned to me and said I can't do this anymore you've changed too much but you're gay I thought you'd like this and then I realized my mistake Evan told me that the guy he'd been with in the carpark was his cousin James and that he'd been hugging him because his dog had just died he got kinda insulted and called me crazy I felt so bad and just when I thought it couldn't get any worse a girl called Andrea came up to me and asked if I'd like to dance she was the biggest lesbian in our year and she wouldn't leave me alone she said she found me so sexy Evan sat at the side of the room and looked so sad after that I lost my period and my face was getting really hairy there was no way to stop it Andrea kept stalking me and eventually Evan couldn't take it he said he felt so jealous and if I was now going to be a boy then he'd become a girl he started wearing a wig and makeup and then we did something crazy and swapped all our clothes I realized I actually liked feeling like a boy and Evan loves to dress up in skirts we might look weird to people but at least we're still together hi my name's Amanda and when I was only five years old my mom passed away I'm 15 now and I'm really protective of my dad for years it was just me and him but eventually he met someone at work and they got married now I have this stepmom Sally and she gets on my nerves a lot she's super sweet to my dad but there's something about her that just seems fake recently we went on vacation and dad said my boyfriend Joe could come too one day my dad took Joe fishing and Sally and I stayed at home I decided to lie out on the patio and I must have dozed off in the Sun because the next thing I knew I was waking up and Sally wasn't there I was about to go inside and look for her when I heard her voice she was on the phone and I could hear her giggling I suddenly felt really curious so I stood up and tiptoed towards the door as I got closer I couldn't believe what I was hearing she was saying that she loved this person and that she'd sneak away tomorrow to come see him whoever this man was then it hit me for the past few days ever since we'd got here she'd been leaving really early in the mornings to go for a run I felt sick she was cheating on my dad an hour later my dad and Joe came back I asked my dad if we could go for a walk before dinner he seemed so happy from his day of fishing and it killed me to break him like this but I had to tell him I started crying as I described what I'd heard Sally saying but my dad just laughed he said that she was probably just speaking to a friend it made me cry even more when I realized how innocent my dad was and how much he loved and trusted Sally he didn't believe she was capable of cheating on him I wouldn't let it go though I kept telling him she was a cheater and he got angry with me and stormed off he was choosing Sally over me and this made me feel so annoyed I tried to forget about it but Sally's words on the phone just kept crossing my mind the next day Sally of course went for her run and when she came back I asked her if she would take me to the store since I wanted to cook dinner for everyone that night as we got to the supermarket I felt really nervous I told Sally I wasn't feeling so well and would it be okay if I stayed in the car Sally said that was totally fine and off she went as she was walking across the parking lot a man came up behind her and grabbed her purse he was wearing a mask and he was so quick Sally started screaming for help and I jumped out of the car and tried to help her one of the security guards tried to chase after the man but he was just too fast Sally was hysterical and we quickly drove home so she could tell my dad what happened as my dad comforted Sally Joe came home we went straight up to my room and as he took off his jacket out fell Sally's purse our plan had worked Joe and I looked at each other and just smiled nothing in that purse was important except for her phone luckily it had no password we found tons of photos with her and this other man on it there was even a photo of them together from that morning I felt sick how could she do that to my dad I knew what I had to do next I waited until sally was in the bath and then I went straight to my dad and showed him her phone he started sobbing and then reached out for me and pulled me in for a hug he said he was so sorry he hadn't believed me he just didn't think Sally was that kind of a woman he said he felt like a total fool because she played him like a fiddle Joe and I felt sorry for him thankfully dad wasn't even angry that Joe and I had come up with such a crazy plan to get the evidence he was just glad he hadn't called the police to report the case I could see he was in shock and as he headed towards the bathroom to confront Sally Joe and I went back upstairs to pack there was a lot of shouting and tears that
