I Went To 10 Thrift Stores In 1 Day Looking For Items To Sell On Ebay

what's up you guys Josh here also known as Harry tornado and today is going to be an ultimate thrifting mission I'm gonna try to go to ten thrift stores in one day looking for treasures that I could buy and flip on ebay for profit stay tuned so the first stop that day is going to be the goodwill bins here if you're unfamiliar with this location that means that everything in here is just in a bunch of boxes and you go through it and you fill up a bag and then you pay it by the weight you don't pay per item this particular location is a dollar and thirty nine cents per pound so if you dig long enough you can find some treasures [Music] yeah yeah this is this has been a good box for me so far maril shirt it's got a big hole in the pit but it's still pretty cool it's all really dirty but some good stuff in here do you like online stuff do you have like pop-up shops hey John how are you you see a little cameo in the video the other day the part where you were telling me about let go that funny thing you said about let good figured out when somebody tells you to meet them in a field and you holler I got to put that in the video you find anything hey that's mostly what is that oh you know sit there doing nothing yeah YouTube's great man I've I guess I'm biased but I really yeah but I really like it what is this that's Mustaine yeah [Music] yeah it's a screen stars Excel though what does that mean screen stars always fit a little smaller those times yeah it does look a little small I need like a true EXO [Music] that would be perfect we've seen countries in yeah isn't that like next weekend or something I don't know where this soon that's probably weekend with the Nets some stains might take a chance on it yeah toxic clean usually works yeah that's awesome [Music] there are you 8:34 alright sure thanks you two appreciate it so what the bins I spent nine bucks on all this stuff we'll look at it later and now I'm headed into the retail location anytime you hear this music in my video today that means that the copyrighted music they were playing in the store was too loud so I replaced it with this so the second location was pretty much a complete bust I found a couple of promising things in there but once I looked up sold comps they weren't as good as I thought so onto the third location this is a very small store so not sure if they'll have much more [Music] [Music] [Music] I think I'm ready okay okay so not a ton of stuff and that's cool but it's gonna happen especially at those small stores typically they try to they get nice stuff they look it up because you're a smaller store yeah I think this one raises in a flip X I think that's what that sign says up there so I don't blame them well if there was one electronic I found it had like it was $40 and on the price leg it said these sell for 90 on eBay so obviously they're looking some stuff up but that's okay on to the next stop number four is this goodwill over here I usually come to this one like once a month so it's been it's been about a month since the last time I came here so there should be some fresh inventory for us to dig through okay I found this really nice Tommy Hilfiger jacket I don't know if it was vintage or not but I had the big flag all over like the whole body but there was a really big stain on the white part of the flag on the back and Tommy just kind of sits for me it doesn't really sell that fast and they won't hit 575 for this so I just went ahead and left it so they charged me the jacket price for both of those that Under Armour and this Levi's jacket so each of those for 575 each and then each of the shoes were 650 each so really great pickups they're this Levi's jacket is not a biggie but it is made in USA only if you can see that and it's got like the nice whatever lining that is so definitely a good pickup here I have no idea what it's worth I've seen sold comps as low as 30 I've seen sold comps as high as like 150 so I've got to do a lot more research into this thing but definitely good pickup for 575 all right so stop number 5 is gonna be this team challenge super thrift I've only been here once before and it wasn't that great but that was also like 4 months ago so hopefully they have some new stuff [Music] hey good how are y'all Spike Lee tweets Bontrager these are like brand-new no clips but basically brand-new and she's here $3.99 three bucks pretty dry-rotted that store wasn't too bad only got two things but those bontrager's cycling shoes should sell for like 30 bucks or so plus shipping and that remote was a dollar and it should sell for like eighteen to twenty two dollars or so stop number six is goodwill first thing I found was this ping putter which is usually a great brand but this was a kids model and it was kind of rusty and in bad condition so did not pick that up but ping is usually a very good brand of golf club to grab [Music] so that goodwill was kind of a bust didn't find anything it had found that pair of air maxes which would have been like a 60 to $80 shoe but they had some he'll rub on the inside so onto the next one I got stop number seven is another good will they're actually working on the Sun so we're gonna go work on finding some deals I found this cool map of Hawaii wall-hanging thing it wasn't vintage or old I just thought it was pretty cool looking but they wanted 25 bucks for this so I passed [Music] he's gonna see that printer on the very bottom yes ma'am look at those cowboy boots right there while you're larger at night that's a size 8 that's fine yeah are they men's or women's area $70 they do look brand-new though hmm that's a little little steep for me yelling negotiate I'll give you 50 for them it's pretty close Alaska what we went to is definitely a good one only got two things in there but those Skechers shape-ups for six dollars and fifty cents and they should their men's size 10 which is pretty good in a like a nice neutral color way like a blue something so this should sell for like thirty thirty-five dollars plus shipping or so and then of course the diamond before Excel was an awesome fine I paid up for it pay 25 bucks plus some change but I think I can get like 120 plus shipping for that so that was probably the best part of the day and now the eighth stop of the day is the next Goodwill 1:42 140 thank you [Music] so that stop was pretty good this pair of Brooks running shoes should get me about $28 plus shipping the Babolat tennis shoes I think they're gonna take a while to sell they're pretty small size I think they're like a women 6 but once they sell they should sell for about that 3035 dollar mark and then that digital the video game selector box thing I didn't look that up I'm assuming it's probably worth like 15 20 bucks I just took a chance on that are you guys stop number 9 is this goodwill that I've been to like three times in the last week and a half so I'm not really expecting much today especially since I think I came here yesterday but you never know maybe they put off some school stuff [Music] so that was an excellent stop I got a puma Suede's which I keep those are my size and I really like Pumas waves so those are six dollars and fifty cents probably gonna keep those those other men's dress shoes I was not aware of the brand I've never seen that brand before but they were made in England I think and they're super high quality so six dollars and fifty cents for those maybe like 75 200 bucks or so I gotta do some research I got the Cascade lacrosse helmet this was two dollars and ninety two cents and this is probably worth like thirty thirty-five bucks or so plus shipping and then I got the villa where waffle maker bill aware is a great brand of waffle maker I think the only the only brand is better than Villa where is probably wearing but wearing and Villa where are both great brands to be on the lookout for paid 492 for that I think and it's probably worth like sixty to eighty dollars okay yes store number ten we last to restore the day it's the old trusty goodwill I've been to almost all of the goodwill in my area there's actually like three more within like probably 2025 minutes of me that I could go to but I am I call it quits after this one let's hopefully we can end the day on a good note here usually when I go outsourcing like this I like to find something to give my dog as a toy when I get home and I thought this little blue t-rex was perfect [Music] all right so I'm home and I'm trying to get everything organized into piles so I know like what I got at what store Mose is doing his new goods inspection so let me fast forward to when I actually have this stuff actually organized exposed you did you find your toy already this is where you sit there you go he loves it they don't grab me all right guys so here it is laid out everything I picked up today starting at the bins and go in each store one by one I will say that I did have a Facebook Marketplace made up this morning at 7:00 a.m. where I picked up seven of these old repair manuals they they got 15 bucks for all seven of them so I'm including these in the financial aspect of the video breakdown so just full disclosure this was a Facebook marketplace so I went to ten thrift stores today plus one Facebook marketplace Meetup altogether just at the thrift stores I spend one hundred and forty four dollars and forty-five cents and if you add in the $15 for those manuals I spend one hundred and fifty nine dollars and forty-five cents got a total of 35 items including the manuals so 35 items altogether which gives me a total cost of four dollars and 55 cents per item I'd say the bins pick up was pretty good I'm trying not to source clothing so I don't know what came over me but I kept finding some cool vintage pieces and I just kept going and that cool Wrangler shirt both of those are anglers that top one is super dirty so I don't know if it's gonna come clean or not clean or not but that one looks super cool that a little vintage marble shirt that woman's Columbia jacket this nice Reebok windbreaker this cool swiss tech 3 XL jacket which is a great size paid 9 bucks for all this stuff oh and the cool like Saint Patty's Day t-shirt that's awesome 1989 on there super dirty though but paid 9 bucks for all this stuff and I don't want to talk about too much talk about profits because I haven't actually you know looked up comps and all this stuff yet but obviously I'm gonna make some profit I mean just that Reebok jacket should sell for like you know 25 30 bucks or so the Columbia jackets another 20 25 that one I'm just gonna say that was not gonna come clean Marvel shirts pretty cool you know I don't know say super conservatively maybe like 50 bucks in profit altogether super super conservatively so fifty bucks there this North Carolina Tarheels head cover set should sell for like I don't know 15 20 bucks or so maybe free shipping somebody recently told me in a video that I need to start picking these up these Korea Vietnam War veteran hats so have no idea how much that was that's worth about it was a dollar and so it's worth something I guess the cool levi-strauss jacket with the whatever fleece line or whatever that is awesome says made in USA I paid five seventy-five for that and have no idea what it's worth you guys tell me nice little Under Armour trunk shirt that's pretty basic but it is a good size this size two XL which is really the only reason I got it it's probably worth like 18 bucks or so that was for seventy-five two pairs of running shoes or pair of running shoes in the golf shoes maybe you know 25 bucks on those maybe 25 30 on those the Bontrager these are probably worth like thirty thirty-five bucks just remotes worth about eighteen to twenty-two Skechers shape-ups worth about 25 30 bucks on those diamond before it sells worth about 120 these Brooks running shoes about $28 these Babolat women's tennis shoes maybe about 25 to 35 dollars somewhere in there I have no idea what this is worth I just thought was pretty cool paid 492 for it so cross helmets probably worth like 25 to 35 dollars I need to look this up I said 60 to 80 earlier but I think it might be more than that so I'll get back to you on that no idea what these are worth but definitely something and these are probably gonna keep and then finally we got these if they clean up about 35 to 40 dollars these are worth about 30 and these are worth about I'd say 50 40 to 50 somewhere on there this is all distressed but maybe 15 bucks or so again until you really get into it and look up sold comps and actually get this stuff listed you're not gonna know exactly how much profit you're gonna make but again I spent a total what was a total of one hundred and one hundred and fifty nine dollars and forty-five cents on all this stuff oh and these books I'll did look up sold comps on some of these most of these are probably gonna sell for about 22 $25 free shipping Nova Media Mail so profiting say profiting about 20 bucks on each one awesome pick up on Facebook marketplace yeah I spent 100 and say 160 dollars even I did use gasps I think I drove like 52 miles today so I mean gas is like a dollar 85 a gallon so what I use like five bucks and gas so that's pretty negligible my time I think it probably took me maybe like six hours prob about six hours sourcing today to go to all 10 stores and obviously it'll probably take me another 8 to 10 hours to get all this stuff listed but once it's all said and done I'm definitely gonna make some serious profit on this stuff I mean it you don't have to talk about the exact numbers and get everything down to the penny it's just it's just I mean you spin 160 bucks for all this stuff you're gonna make some serious profit oh yes so I have two packages that I've recently received him gonna open those real fast for you this first one is from my friend Alison she goes by big drift thrift on
