I Was Wrong

hex maniacs I was wrong I have made an egregious era I have solid a good name I am beside myself with befuddlement and how I have made such a fool of myself but let's be honest I I do that in almost every video it is one thing to sell it myself but to silly another is unacceptable so I shall endeavor to make reparations for my whatever in a previous video I tested out four different hose reels and I gave the Gardena a failing score because of one fatal flaw the Quick Connect at the spigot leaked you can see I was leaking right there the connection between the the two pieces now I tried to address that leak by adding some Teflon tape to the spigot and at the time it didn't help oddly enough a little over a week later and it's not leaking anymore which means the Teflon tape worked so to all the people who said don't put Teflon tape on there now purchased my garden in a hose reel from Amazon UK which means I got the European version and not the American version or the North American version however they do it and I wondered as I installed the Quick Connect did we have different you know thread patterns and I'm aware that there are different pipe thread patterns okay so but it matched up pretty close and I was able to get it to thread on so I assumed that it did in fact work that it was a flaw with the quick connect and a few of you in the comments said you know what that's a different thread pattern you're using the European version that's your problem in fact Gardena commented as well that was the issue hey thanks for watching my videos I want to right this wrong and let's find out if I can fix this now in order to rectify this situation I have gone on to Amazon and I have purchased a garden a quick connect kit that is US spec this is the connector in question let's get all that off just for reference here's the old one here's the new one goes on easy time for the Moment of Truth let's see how stupid I really am there you have it I was wrong about the quick disconnect if you use the proper one it does not leak I mean what can I say however one thing I was not wrong about was the nozzle yeah it still leaks and if you haven't seen that original test video I'll put it right here and I will see you in the next video
