I Turned Minecraft Mobs Into Shoes

in this video I turned Minecraft Mobs into slippers weird slippers and over complicated sneakers I'll also show you how I created them and if you like what you see check out my other videos let's start with the most timeconsuming and complicated project Phantom sneakers I started with D's tutorial to figure out how to model shoes because I am an amateur Tod RS I'm not very professional so yeah I spent several hours Ming exactly the same then I started editing the project to fit my vision I saw that there were already Minecraft sneaker collaborations but they were quite boring I needed some inspiration so I spent about half an hour Gathering all the cool projects in one place I didn't want them to look too much like the mob we will make something like that later with different mobs I wanted the design to be only inspired by Phantom so here is my sketch let's turn it into something something cool I started by adding eyes to the front and now it was time to model their wings at first they were a bit flat so I gave them a little tweak they couldn't be too big either so you could walk normally in those shoes then I m the soul and you know it's it has to be similar to this part of his body the soul is brown because I wanted it to resemble the Phantom as closely as possible I also added that back element and some texture there was one little problem how to add laces there is no space for them and this look pretty bad I left the project for a day or so and as usual while working on another concept I came up with a solution let's make verro shoes I don't know why people prefer laces verro shoes are the most comfortable thing from childhood what make them famous again they even looked nice and you know Phantom has those visible bones here and it perfectly fits this idea I hope youd get what I'm saying but if not I will show you so next up F tuning some details you know um adding stitches I hate meling stitches but it looks nice uh adding textures and so on I also learned how to make the stitches from the SL tutorial so I highly recommend it I thought the project was done but it felt like it needed a little extra something so I went ahead and sculpted more details to the wings and added something around the ice all that's left is to render this kicks this is my light and camera set up if you're curious and here is the final project I'm even kind of satisfied let me know what you think okay now it's time for something less complicated but I really like the idea silverfish slippers it is some research and I was surprised that no one has created something like this yet I hope and I don't know why but there any anation is of the satisfying anyway I began with even more research I wanted to find out what this part of its body is I still don't know but I found a theory about why micro silverfish looks different than in real life um you can r view on it's very interesting at first I wanted to create some classic slippers it didn't look too exciting so I wasted around 1 hour of my life as usual I kept the base though you know no time wasting when you're a YouTuber I started looking for inspiration and these ones are actually pretty cool that's why I thought you know people will love fluffy czy slippers and you can say silverfish isn't fluffy and you're right and that's good actually I decided to give the silverfish a new PL and Vibe I will I will improve its PR so these were my final references and sketch the goal was to maintain the original bloy shape I started modeling this took way too long but I'm getting used to it I wanted the sleepers to be practical too inside they had to have a real foot shape and combining these two elements took me the most time after a few hours of trying out different stuff I managed to get the effect I wanted and it was perfect now it was time to make them fluffy I used the hair particle system in blender I also needed to add ice and after a while it finally resembles a silverfish I wanted it to look even more like the silverfish from the game so I have a dead texture the last thing this project needed was a good Soul whenever I don't know how to do something I look for a helpful tutorial that's what I did in this case I made an identical so as shown in this video and I think it fits pretty well and yeah I took the leather texture from my all the Gengar lights project check my Pokemon Concepts video if you want you can even imagine there is a device inside making silverfish sounds when you walk so if you had people you live with uh that would be a perfect choice for you I made a few tweeks a quick photo session and we are done let me know what you think and yeah uh the final project I could have taken the easier out and made similar slippers with a pig or sheep Mel however I decided that it would be too boring let's punish yourself even more I created something weirder unusual weird slash cute zombie slippers yeah also slippers but very unconventional and probably a little impractical you also say in a moment so first I made a very primitive sketch we'll turn this into something called in a moment I started with modeling the zombie itself it also took me more time than I thought that it was even Pleasant is it is a simple model so that's how it goes and yeah I reused the model from the first version of the silver for slippers as the base for this concept no time wasting as I said so the idea was that they would be covered in grass or something simulating grass and the zombie would stand on it would be touching the grass you know what I mean by the way I plan to explain the creative process in more details in the next videos we'll see if you like it your your feedback will be very important I added some kind of hair using particle system in blender the character had to be plush you know it had to be elastic and comfortable enough so I needed hair on the character too and it looks nice I was testing a different more Minecraft style color scheme but I didn't like it it had to be bright and vibrant very family friendly you know I decided to add a real texture real zombie texture to every element of the character and then I fix the colors a bit I wanted to make make sure if these slippers would be practical and comfortable enough so I hired a model which I forgot to mention earlier I mean I generated him that the add-on was uh really expensive so I could say I hired him it was a bit weird zooming in on those feet for half an hour or so if you do something like that is a good thing when nobody is home anyways in the end I only adjusted the colors a bit now you can clearly see what I meant the zombie will be hugging your elect and as you can see they work and it should be practical and there you have the final product now I also made a version with mushrooms because it looked a bit empty there I was inspired a bit by Minecraft Crocs being honest everyone would like to have mushrooms on their feet right let me know
