about this point I was as nervous as it gets unlike popular belief washing this down is not a good idea what I like to do instead is pet a dried with a paper towel this is the best and the right way but once that was done this is what I have it is a Japanese Olive wagyu A5 tenderloin it is extremely rare to be able to find this and I don't think anyone in the planet has done what I'm about to do and that is to dry age it the first thing I gotta do is to tie this up so that it does not lose its shape now dry aging a piece of meat like this is quite risky there's no way I can pass the opportunity to see if dry age is going to make the best beef in the world better because once everything was tied up the next thing to do is to go ahead set it down on a cooling rack and into my dry aging goes for 35 days once the time was up I took it out and look I quickly transferred it to a cutting board and this is what the world's most expensive and rarest piece of meat looks like dry aged I want you to notice a few things that stood out to me number one some of the fat remained white I believe that's for one reason it has an overwhelming amount of fat so this little spectacle on top was quite surprising which I have never seen before another thing that you're not able to tell is the smell it is extremely Pleasant and right about this time I got as excited as it gets because I know we were all in for a treat so I couldn't help myself I went ahead and cut it open and when I did take a look now this is something you might never see again it started becoming so tender that you can see little pockets in between the meat so I went ahead and continued my butchering cutting out nice one and a half inches thick steaks and every time I did so one steak looked better than the other as a meat lover this is mid Heaven nothing will ever be able to Top This we're talking about picture perfect whenever you dry aging beef this is what you should aim for because the next thing to do is to go ahead and remove the outer pellicles but not until I save the few of these steaks let me know in the comments down below what kind of experiment would you like to see with these steaks because this is something very special and it deserves a tremendous amount of respect however the first thing we gotta do is to remove the outer pellicles that is the outer crust that is formed whenever you dry aging steaks so I went ahead and trimmed all of them and in the end I was left with the most perfect steaks I've ever seen in my life I said it before and I'll say it again it does not get any better than this now since I have three of them we must do some type of experiment what are we gonna learn if I cook all of them exactly the same so here's how it's gonna go down the first thing to do is to get all of them seasoned a good amount of solid followed by freshly ground black pepper that's it keeping it nice and simple is the way to go I have done numerous experiments with wagyu before but there's one thing Japanese people do that I have not done yet and that is to flam base sticks with alcohol one of them I'm going to be using sake the other one I'm gonna be using Japanese whiskey I have no idea if this is going to be better or worst but I'm really excited to find out as the only thing left to do is to go ahead and cook them first I'll be putting a nice beautiful sear in all of them once that's done I'll be cooking them in indirect heat until I reach an internal temperature of 135 degrees Fahrenheit and for that I'm gonna be using my chef iq's seasoned but you could put this in a baby's mouth and they're going to be able to chew this steak just fine this is insane and that's true that's like meat Jello now I know that sounds bad but it's in a very good way everybody it's very enjoyable because you have to put such little effort to actually chew the steak you get those beautiful beef flavors it's like Angel said perfectly seasoned garlic powder a good amount of salt followed by freshly ground black pepper that's it this has to be that A5 wagyu that we tried before because that was the most tender piece of meat I've ever tried and this is right up there with it are you becoming like a steak connoisseur I mean I eat steak for a living let me just say this you know when your family member that makes steak real bad makes steak and it's well done and it feels like we're biting through a piece of wood you know that feeling okay now imagine the complete opposite of that one that's what we have it's ridiculously tender it is delicious it is the best piece of steak you will ever put in your mouth everybody and most importantly it's one of the only wagyu steaks that we can eat the whole thing and I will yeah chill out bro there's more people no no let's talk about it it's okay I'm gonna eat all of it hey it is delicious it is fantastic I'm ready for the second one let's dig in yes sir okay do it smell it let me know if you that beef flavor so much it's so nice I've tried so many steaks in my life everybody but I've never tried this it's a 10 out of 10 we were extremely highly recommend because I I lost words I I don't know what else to say it has everything I've ever wanted on a steak these steaks are just the ultimate wagyu experience like the perfect balance of beef but also richness not so much where it overpowers you it just is such an enjoyable steak experience guys this is amazing that is delicious very good the best steak I've ever had in my life okay but I want to know if it got better because these two I do something else because if we have more steaks I'm not gonna just cook the same exact way right we gotta try something different please they get an experiment huh that's correct these steaks are so good I'm it's totally made me forget about a side dish I don't even want a side dish I just want to eat more of these steaks that's what I said I'm not cooking side dish this this is special everybody this is real special smells it smells very different yeah what do you do to these things you do something good I wouldn't dare to do something bad I don't know about that ladies and gentlemen I present to you I drainage my nephew and find out right now enough talking cheers everybody cheers oh that's a mature taste everybody it's a slightly different flavor profile than the previous steaks which are like just completely Savory do you like it better than the first one or no no no I like your honesty I'll be honest man I do not like it better than the first steak so you feel like the flavor washed out a little bit I think the beef flavor is still there I think the savoriness is toned down there's just another flavor there that has very different notes but it's nice and it tastes good yeah you know it has like a kind of like a wine flavor like alcohol yeah like alcoholic wine yeah you think it's better than this one the steak is too good I know you could put it in my microwave it's gonna be amazing everybody but I would still take the first two over that one yeah I think I also preferred the previous one but the fact that this one when you're taking bites it leaves a little something something in your mouth for you to enjoy it's really nice everybody it's quite nice all right you guys ready for the last one oh yeah please let's go enough talking let's give it a go cheers everybody cheers oh that one's better such an interesting flavor on it too wow wow I don't know about you guys but I taste a lot of wood yeah it's like almost as if you would have smoked it without smoking yeah okay that's really good unlike the previous steak I think that flavor profile pairs better with the beef flavors on it so it is actually a better steak I 100 agree you between these two I take this one yeah it's I agree easy is this unanimous we all are like the last one better yeah I like the last one a lot it has a flavor that complements the steak this one here the previous one by the way I use sake oh so that's why because I thought it tasted like wine so that one the previous one maybe doesn't go as well together but I've been watching a lot of Japanese because I'm going to Japan everybody let me know what you want to see in Japan I cannot wait it's going to be a dream come true because I've been watching a lot of people cook wagyu there in Japan and they always flambeer with something so I could never tell if they're using sake or if they're using whiskey by the way this Japanese whiskey oh that's that makes perfect sense I understand why the
