I Survived 500 Days on a Flat World with Nothing but... a Bonus Chest

hello my name is dan ross probs and today we are focusing on a brand new no winner really this is the next 100 days guys on my survival flat world you guys are absolutely loving this as much as i am playing it but before i do jump on with this um yes i've actually found a add-on that enables like a day counter um a lot of you are speculating and i was speculating that i'm probably not on the correct amount of days here so this will tell me exactly what day i'm on hopefully when i enable this there we go and i just wanted to show you here as well before i do um hit go i have not done anything to the world it's still in hard okay and now let's load this up and look how many days we're actually on oh my god i've been lying i'm three days behind guys i really are very close though um i'm really sorry obviously keeping track um on micro better this is quite hard a lot of you probably asked how i've been keeping track now i've actually been using a tally system in real life um you know the four lines and then you put a strike for it that counts as five and that's what i've been doing around about every 12 minutes in the nether and obviously whilst editing i can calculate how much time i have spent on here um by the way this whole section of 100 days has been 27 hours guys um you'll understand why it's pretty on so yes i before i continue i'm really sorry this one's a little bit longer than normal that is the reason why but yes i got a couple of days to um burn here so i decided to uh pretty much just go into my um iron farm but i just was looking around at the sky and trying to work out how this actually works i presume it's like every morning you get another day that's how it works um either way if you want to check this out for yourself you can edit in the description of video it's definitely from mcpl.com and uh yes basically what we're gonna do now is just show you what my whole cycle was like so as you can see i was on a day one of 402 but there is a little bit of a bug with this actual add-on and that is if you're on a riding entity if you're riding an entity the day is completely gone it comes and goes basically so you'll see when i'm writing things the day is not there but now i've come off it's back but yes we actually were in a thunderstorm and there was a skeleton horse as you saw and uh yeah obviously with all this iron i've got which was in four days i actually upgraded my um pig limb farm you know my gold farm and actually put automatic hopper system into it and also with all the iron i thought you know what i'm just gonna turn this thing on and we're gonna make a load of flint and still and basically try and get a load of gold because gold is very very valuable now and why is it so valuable for bartering that's why and the way i can get obsidian and gravel and things like that is mainly by using bartering which is pretty cool so yes i've basically been combining all these different swords mounting these different swords trying to get looting free all the time trying to get all these different things and all we're trying to do is accumulate a load of gold ingots that is the plan but as you can see i'm combining and checking different things here i constantly constantly have to keep trading with my villagers but the beauty of my farm just being right above me is that everything ticks while i'm still doing stuff which is really really nice but yes after all that we got about 26 gold blocks 14 ingots and six nuggets which it's all and honestly isn't that bad um i'm quite happy with that to be fair i don't see how that's not efficient at all um next i decided to go ahead and make myself a bit of a like a potion room and i don't really know what i want to call this it's a bit of like a brewing room um it's just somewhere where i could i know i can make potions basically um because i know i need a lot of fire resistance potions for what i want to do in these 100 days but yes i set up free brewing stands alone i've never wore as you can see and i wanted to kind of decorate it a little bit i'm not the greatest builder as i keep saying but i wanted to give it that kind of like magicky feel if that makes sense um so yeah we've got two chests either aside and um one is for potions that are done and one is just for the ingredients basically and uh yeah i decided to get my little book out once again my magical diary and uh i'm just basically writing what i've been saying which is um trying to get as much gold as i can um i want to focus on as well my gold farm trying to get more portals made as well um but yes some of you guys said in the comment section about using a silk touch pickaxe on um the never gold ore so that's what i had i actually did and uh yeah i decided to get my silk touch pickaxe go in there go all the way down when i was blowing up all the um you know the bottom of it to get ancient debris and we actually took quite a bit of gold as you're gonna see um and believe it or not if you actually smelt this it becomes a gold ingot rather than if you break it you don't just get the gold um nuggets which is really nice i spotted a vindicator with a flag so he was obviously a captain so i killed him we set off once again another raid but this time i thought i'm going guns blazing and use just my looting sword and all of the entities and i got myself my first mending book oh boy and now i've really realized well i should have done all the raids like that if you actually kill pillagers with a looting freeze sword you've got way more higher chance of getting enchanted books but these books are very very nice also i decided to make some slow falling potions possibly for the future i don't really know what they're going to be for yet but yes obviously i was in another quite a lot doing a um a lot of silk um touch mining you know for the gold a lot of phantoms are spawning so i decided to capture these guys in my boats and uh yeah i don't know if i've ever seen like 11 phantoms before at once pretty crazy but yes we got 15 um phantom membranes which is really nice again i can use these for the future potentially to make more slow falling potions if i need them or do you still repair your elytra with that oh my god it's been so long i can't quite remember um yes so next i wanted to um just show you this i did capture that uh skeleton horse right and i'm pretty sure he went through the portal he definitely didn't go through the portal so i'm like what what what's going on here the lead's still there so is he underground i i genuinely don't know what's happened there the entity is just despawned so there goes my skeleton horse also i made this automatic now using sticky pistons why not because i can afford it now and yeah we could just place the flowers down like so and as you saw you know in the previous couple of days wow 100 days i should say um you could baremail these and away they go but i do realize i should probably change this to grass paths so then um you know the flowers don't actually grow on those sections of grass because the water doesn't really reach up there does it so that will prevent that and i can flick this on and then flick it off like that saving me breaking the gravel and yes the annoying phantoms are back once again i really need to start going to sleep now but yes i could collect all my flowers like so and obviously i'm using the flowers to trade up um with the villager i've got the shepherd villager because he likes the orange dye and um the lime green dye so next up i'm going to go ahead and try and make myself are you ready a bartering farm i've never made one of these before but i know the mechanic quite well obviously i do do quite a lot of coding and stuff so i know how it all works um basically i need to just get a dropper that is throwing gold at these piglens and he can pick it up basically so i got some sort of design here um again no tutorial just doing this from my head as per usual i realized i need to push this back one more so obviously because i don't want the ingot to fall into the hopper and go straight into the chest i want the piglen to actually be able to pick it up so i decide to use a trapdoor yes you know i like my trap doors but this prevents it from firing out at a distance which is really really cool i am using a dropper and i know droppers only drop a certain radius but i didn't want to use a dispenser because it will fire too far but yes i realized for what i need i need to actually make some comparators now it's the first time i've used these in this world so far but i remember making one of these a long time ago for some command videos and uh yes it's a timeable clock if you put items inside the hopper the comparator tells you when it's got items in it or not basically and this will send off a redstone signal so i wanted to do this because a pig lynn i think it's like 13 seconds i think it is they hold the item and stare at it and then they throw it down so i wanted to adjust have a timeable adjustable clock basically that's what i'm trying to say so i can fire this out at a certain time yes i'm very happy with what i designed um and i thought you know what i'm just gonna smash this and we're gonna go and build it because i'm that confident that this thing is pretty flawless to be fair so i'm looking around trying to gather where can i put this and i decide you know what i'm just going to put it right next to my portal right here and that's what we're going to go ahead and do so i mine out this area there's a bit of lava in there but you know i'm always ready for it using glass um but yes i mind this whole area which is really nice and uh yeah i'm trying to count around and look how much space i actually need for this so i start digging out some holes in the ground for the double chest basically so i'm counting two blocks apart that's what i was doing i think if i remember correctly no it was one block apart sorry my bad and uh there we go i basically put in a load of glass as you can see as a bit of a frame basically remembering and mimicking from what i designed earlier that's the whole process here but i wanted to show you this like clip by clip so you know how i was kind of building it in the process um eventually i go back to the um villagers to actually purchase myself some more redstone dust obviously this is the only way of me getting redstone dust and i needed quite a bit for this as you can imagine i needed to extend the back of this quite a bit as well for the wiring and as you saw that i put some droppers in which is quite nice and uh i was mining out this little back area and then all of a sudden one of these guys just turned up where did he come from so this is a perfect piggy like what'd you call a guinea pig that's it um for me to test so i managed to get him in there pretty easily and i realized wow this is actually going to work like really easily so that was my only concern like how do i get all the piglets in there but yes you could see through the item and it went straight in there basically i set up the whole um time clock thing again which i designed earlier and i put a repeater there just because a comparator only lets out one um you know one tickle whatever one's redstone poles that's it and uh i'm not a redstone wizard so sorry if i'm not getting all the redstone technical terms correct here yes i basically just set this up as a wiring system i want it to fire all at the same time or at least near enough at the same time and away we go all the piglets just go in there they all get given basically a gold ink at a time the timer will turn off eventually and it will ping them all again as you can see i know they're not all identical but it's as best as i can do remember i've only got a limited amount of resources as well and it's a pain to get redstone it's a pain to get all these different things so as best i could do this is the best solution also i decide to make a couple of these soul torches to try and make these pigs piglets like angry i always find like i don't know i've looked a lot into piglets in my time um with they have a lot of priority in the code of them and one of them is picking up the gold is the top priority thing but i wanted to scare them as well um just to kind of refresh them if that makes sense i don't know if it's a good mechanic or not we shall see but yes i gotta learn a name tags obviously i should name these guys because then my new friends so they're cool people in barter one to five or one to six sorry because that was number six um obviously the main reason of naming them is so they don't despawn i don't want them to despawn because they're gonna be a right pain to get in there um as you're gonna see right now so we need to go and get ourselves five more of these guys and uh if you're a fan of family guy you probably know this reference but oh a piece of candy oh a piece of candy this is what this reminds me of so basically i'm making a gold ingot line um for this piglens to to follow absolute nightmare guys i'm not going to lie here so i would get them as high as i could and then i'll put them in a boat and we would basically sail our way all the way to the to where i need to go but because of my torches you'll see it sends them flying but then if i throw the ingot they are very they basically it's their top priority thing so i know they will instantly go for it but yes you can see pretty easy to be fair i've already got one to my right as well so we've actually got three now which is quite cool um boom there we go so that's number four and we just need to cover the top of him as well i don't want any items to be thrown over the top of him but yes there we go we got three so we need just three more which isn't that hard so the last one i got this happened with my bow i don't know if this is a new feature or not but do boats burn in the nether now is that a thing i'll tell you what i've never seen that ever in minecraft before maybe it's a new thing i don't really know but yes the last piglet we actually got was a fully golden armored one which is quite a nice little touch so yes piglin barterer number one is the best in my opinion but yes there we go so we got all of them in which is really really cool and he has been renamed as you can see and that is my automatic piglet bartering system so i fill up all the droppers i flick the little lever over here and this should fire out every 13 seconds and you hear it by the trapdoors the stupidest design in the world maybe i could have used signs instead of trapdoors but i have to use trapdoors but i know it's a bit of a flaw um this guy he wasn't interested in his gold ingot i have no idea why um so i decided to kind of push him around and that yeah there was a little bit of complications there wasn't too many though but uh yeah he was a bit of a pain this one just just get back in your box please sir there we go so after some time i realized um the time is not quite right i need to remove a couple of these pieces of neverwreck so that's what i go ahead and do well i actually only remove one and i think this is pretty much spot on so i need it to fire it and once it's fired it'll be the next stage if you know what i mean also i notice um there's a bit of issues there i needed to actually put another hopper um under it as well because it wasn't always collecting all the items it basically wherever the player stands that's where they throw it it's very unusual mechanic so i just decided to put another hopper there and with the timing being accurate now they it never goes in the hopper well it does but it's very rare if you know what i mean but yes that is my piglin bartering system um yeah it's not very difficult it's quite easy to figure out i imagine but very painful getting the guys in there obviously getting gold is quite a pain as well um so yeah back to gold so the whole idea of that is for me to get a load of obsidian and uh yeah i go back to my uh piglet farm i've made a second portal now and uh yeah there's something not quite right about it there really isn't it's gone a lot slower than it was before so what have i done so i decided to have a bit of a break from that because it's driving me up the wall and uh yeah i decided to make my kelp farm automatic by putting in some hoppers um as you can see i basically set up a system so when uh the kelp breaks it goes into this water stream and then it goes straight into a hopper which will be connected to a double chest um i was sorting out my um you know my bits to sell to the villagers basically and um i noticed like the llama in the background's going nuts what is going on but there was a trader um it didn't really sell anything valuable just a bit of red sand and a bit of blue ice which i purposely would buy why not um i did spot a raid as well but i obviously didn't spot that actually in game but yes i'm going around a farming as per usual and constantly have to do this by my daily daily basis as you can see we're on 4 20 now whoops um obviously still cooking up cactus as well and trading but i decided to breed up a couple villages and get some more babies basically now the sole purpose of this is to try and get myself a diamond helmet obviously i don't have diamonds like you would normally in minecraft so to get a diamond helmet it's going to be quite a pain for me but the main reason of me getting a diamond helmet is so i can enchant it and obviously be a bit more protected and then make it into a never right hopefully um that's the plan so yeah i'm just writing in my little diary i've decided to make a second portal um but i'm also thinking about how to get obsidian basically um and what about shrek right i'm so stupid but yes i found myself a donkey um i put a chest on it and i was going to use the donkey to obviously make a load of obsidian with lava that was my plan um to avoid any mistakes again like the skeleton horse i decided to put a couple of acacia doors on my never portal um to try and prevent any accidents happening and yes because i'm an idiot i broke it it went straight in didn't it but yes there we go so we have got a working kind of nether portal door thing um and a donkey now i decided to do a bit more afk because i constantly need iron for pistons and things like that so i decided to make myself a blast furnace and a barrel for the baby villagers for when they grow up and also thank very much everyone in the comment section these are the names i chose for my animals i would put your comments on screen but there's so many guys so thank you very much um that is all for names for my animals so we have got mr shivers bumble lucky and king i'm sure you can work out what they're for king is for the horse by the way if you couldn't figure that one out lucky is obviously for the pink sheep so eventually the villagers grow up and there we go i've got myself an armorer and he had iron um leggings so i thought oh he's probably gonna have a helmet or something because it's different from the other one because he had iron boots or something or an iron helmet um i decided to fill up my um donkey with a load of lava buckets for the future and i decide to take mr shivers on a bit of a cruise in the nether in search for anything basically um you know i was just trying to look for stuff that was my plan um as in like bastion remixes or a fortress would be lovely um but yes managed to go around in another for a very long time with this strider and uh i found a pig lynn home as i call him and i realized i can't type that because i put a slash command so it actually thought it was a command yes dan cheats aren't enabled um but i wanted to make note of that so you know i am not cheating here because people are very very suspicious of me i don't know why and i swear to you i have not died yet if i die this whole thing is completely over but yes i get myself some gold blocks i find myself some chess whenever i find chest in um anywhere i put a torch or a block to make sure i know i've been there um unfortunately we did not find any end portal frames which is a big boo-boo because i really want to find some i need like a lot to get to the end right i need i think from top of my head was it 11 i need in total um for the rest something like that yes i found myself another bastion remnants and i just do a little scout here to make sure none of these piglets are around and what do we got we got a dead bottle frame yes okay so this is one of many that i need again we get some more gold but this gold is very special because i thought this block was aghast [Laughter] i thought it was a gas stuck in the blocks what an absolute idiot oh geez right but yes all in all it wasn't that great we only got one input frame but it's better than nothing right obviously the main thing i'm after as well is gold for bartering right because that gives me more obsidian as i keep saying so i decide i just had enough i'm gonna head back now um come on mr schreider let's go or mr shivers i should say you could go back in your little cage obviously when you're in um the lava a lot as well and you lead up the um what you call it the striders um they always the lead comes off the entities so they actually fall off into the lava so yes i've only got two um end portal frames um i decided to kill this pillager and start a raid um just because why not right if i see these guys they give me a lot of emeralds but i'm more after the books as well because last time i got a mending book right so i thought this is a really cool idea as well just to keep doing raids if i possibly could just to get more stuff basically so yeah a successful raid i got a stack and a half of emeralds which is really nice so much stuff i can disenchant more totems as per usual and enchanted books which is very very nice i was over here getting ready to go and sell some stuff to the villagers as per usual and uh i spotted in the corner that there's another raid in the exact same place but i killed him and look what happened a skeleton was holding the banner i've never seen a skeleton hold a banner before so i've seen a skeleton have a diamond helmet now a stone sword and a banner very strange stuff in this world yes another successful raid that was very weird because i was doing a raid already with the hero of the village but yes beautiful more saddles that i really don't need more tow tubes that i might need who knows yes i'm leveling up this guy as well just because i want to find out if he's selling a helmet and so far he's only got boots and i'm pretty certain the next thing is probably a chest plate it is god so that was a bit of a waste of resources and time um everything he sells is useless to me it really is absolute waste of time so i decided to go back to my enchanted table and i get myself an efficiency 4 book which is pretty decent and i get myself a protect the projectile protection free as well which is quite nice and i think that is all i actually got um i didn't want to use up all my levels because i was going to do some um enchanting and fixing um yes again trading with these guys i can't stress this enough if you are playing this yourself you got to get yourself villagers you got to get emeralds emeralds are the best thing ever also i managed to get myself a fortune free but and i was so like oh yes that's really good i was gonna enchant my never right pickaxe and i really sat there and fought by and i thought there's no point why would i need fortune for a pickaxe and much like the never right boots do i really need i'm breaking free i sat there for quite a while and i was thinking you know what i've got mending on my i can i can make a mending villager why have i never done this before like why is it taking me so long to realize this so i go in raging like ah i'm about the way cat you stupid thing i hate the cat and i kill the fisherman i i don't even know why to this day i killed that fisherman i have no idea i could have just swapped the barrel out and changed it for a lectin but hey somebody died in a process we made another baby and uh i put him in the same place i do a bit of afk at the old um bartowing obviously i got all the gold on the previous little strider run when i got the end portal frame i've added some doors here now as well um just to stop like there was some like um zombified piglets in there as well i just didn't want mobs in here but yes i'm trying to get as much obsidian as i can any iron i can take would be nice as well and obviously i get potions as well which is quite nice i get enough obsidian to make another portal but not quite enough to finish off the last one unfortunately um but we get in there which is all good so it's all the part of the process right so i set up all the wiring for this um as well which is quite cool and yeah again it's a bit weird but yeah the village essentially growed up i just became a um a librarian because i put elect in there right so my main goal of this dude was get a mending book so i am not kidding you now this took me forever guys like two in minecraft days look at my days 435 right i sat here for ages that's probably like 40 minutes right just sat there switching this book i got for us a walker and frost walker too as well and i was really tempted to get it it's like protection for there and then eventually i get myself but you can see i wasn't even really paying attention good job i didn't break it again it's so sorry it was actually one day okay it took me a very long time basically um to get this honestly absolutely worth it though because mending is probably the best enchantment in the game i would say by far because you as you know i keep repairing my gear and i gotta stop doing it it's very expensive to keep repairing it um i decide to go to sleep and i think what we're gonna do is spend a bit of time on my gear so i buy a load of these bending books my inventory is that full i can't i can't even hold any more emeralds or books um but basically yeah i'm just gonna start upgrading all my gear because i can afford to do this now i've got another axe in here that i previously bought and upgraded i'm not sure if i've shown you that as i said this is quite a lot of hours um edited down into an hour um a lot of you guys thank you very much i said about the whole piston thing with the cocoa beans thank you very much in the previous 100 days um huge shout out to you guys in the comment section i really love the support on this as well um but you guys are helping me out and i decided to listen to you guys and you told me to wire up a piston at the other end that will actually push the logs back and forth so i don't need to keep breaking them i realized i ran out of cobblestone to make um normal pistons and i decide as i'm waiting around for the villager to refresh his tray to redstone i will do a bit more upgrading he's refreshed now so i can actually buy these redstone dust off him and with the redstone dust i can finish off my cocoa bean farm i decide to swap out the sticky pistons with regular pistons as well um because they're just pointless in my eyes but yes here we go test number one okay they're all working good the wires are all connected but they didn't push back hmm i set up something different at the very end here you'll see i'll put that repeater on a one tick delay as well now i realized i could put torches on here have these permanently on and when the lever gets pulled those torches will be turned out so they'll burn out and then that therefore will turn off the piston here so that is kind of my little design here and i must say it's much better than it previously was so thank you very much comment section you're the best we did it we all we need to do is um put the cocoa beans and by the way i did strip the jungle logs i did it by accident and i was like i'm just gonna strip it all i didn't even know you could do stripped um cocoa beans on that grow them on there if that if you know what i mean um as you just saw that i've enchanted a um a fungus on a stick with mending and i've also setting up here i've had enough i'm just gonna go and get myself some more diamonds from the nether it's the only way i'm making a book here with mending on it and stuff like that just for the actual helmet um i haven't quite got enough um levels for upgrading that but i decided to put the efficiency for on my um never right shovel but my gear is getting very op right now which is very very nice i got this book left over and i decide i'm just going to put the i'm breaking free on the warped fungus in a stick so that is a wart fungus on a stick without breaking free and mending on it have you ever seen that before probably not um but yes i'm really thinking about killing the wither now because i'm starting to get quite op gear um and i just write in here that i want to get some more diamonds to make myself a helmet before i do tackle the wither that is the plan um so yeah i've got all the gear i need um all we need to do is find myself a fortress now i seem to remember on my last um little run free where i found those couple of bastion remnants is with the one endpoint frame and all the gold and that i actually stumbled across a never fortress so i made sure i looked back on my footage to find it but while i was going there i stumbled across this bastion remnants which is really really nice and i had a quick loot around as you would but honestly guys i know these structures like the back of my hand now you're not gonna believe how many of these i've gone through in this whole 100 days unbelievable probably about 17 to 18 of these i've gone through um not always they don't contain the chests in the same place um but the problem is they could be anywhere in an absolute mess these places um but yes sometimes you get super lucky sometimes you don't but yes i just found myself another end portal frame which is really really cool i stumbled across this chest here as well and another important frame so that's two by mistake basically um and i also got myself another pig step cd as you just saw yes we are done there and um let's take mr shivers back and go and find this never fortress um it is a fortress right it's not a stronghold though i'm calling to get a fortress now i've learnt my lesson from the last time yes i've noticed i've been here before i could see some cobblestone little bridges um so i recognized it but i'm again a bit confused i found another bassoon remnants which is absolutely crazy i'm not even looking for these i'm trying to get to 800 odd coordinates that's what i'm trying to get but yes i found another end portal frame i'm really feeling so lucky this day well in real life playing it you know what i mean and uh i was like really hyped for this to try and get as many of these endpoint frames as i could um mr shivers took a bit of damage there as you just saw i fell off um but luckily i brought myself a splash potion of health regeneration so yeah we can actually heal mr shivers and he won't be in such a bad shape so you might notice as well i've kind of gone around in circles a little bit um so i decided to just go home because i'm carrying free end portal frames here i've got loads of gold and loads of other loot i just don't want on me i need to empty out and not only that i've kind of run out of torches and i've run out of fire resistance potions and things so obviously you can only carry so much when you don't have a shulker box um but yes my mr shivers was being a bit of a uh i don't even know what you want to call it an annoyance yes eventually i get him home finally real nightmare and it's raining you know what rain does to these shredders right it hurts them as we figured out last time so yeah luckily he's stuck inside the portal so i'm going to try and put blocks there nope he won't let me put them there i didn't want to push him because he would have gone back into the actual portal so i decided to just run for my bed and go to sleep when i sleep and when i wake up it will be daytime and it'll be sunny okay it will remove the rain and also there's phantoms as well because i need to sleep but where's mr shivers gone oh no there he is he's died no [Music] oh no i was too slow um sorry mr shivers so we had to make a name tag for mr shippers too and um in his honor he broke the um anfield as you can see i've placed down the um and portal frames as well so we've got a total of five now which is really cool obviously i found those three by accident um poor mr shivers r.i.p man but in his memory i was right no sadly it was raining when i came out of the portal i tried to sleep as fast as i could but it wasn't enough rip little friend also i got five portable frames definitely remembered him in these five um portal frames honor i guess so yeah now where has tried a lot we lost our strider basically um anyway i'm geared up again and we're going for it again so we've got mr shivers too but we still need to get two diamonds to make a diamond helmet right obviously i want this diamond helmet to make it into a never right helmet so then i can fight the wither with a bit more protection rather than using a gold helmet and finally i found it i told you it was at about 800 coordinates i remember it being at 800 i really had that drilled in my head i found it i was so happy i was ready to get these diamonds hopefully if i could find myself a chest so mr shivers two you could stay there and away we go so let's mine up this thing because i'm noticing as well and then never the lava seems to sit at like 5 32. but yes i stumbled across a couple of chests obsidian beautiful and gold not too bad okay no diamonds yet so let's have a little bit more of a further search also i do break the chest as well just to make sure that i know that i've um you know already been here or put a block or torches like i always do i stumbled across another couple of chests oh we got some more gold okay and not too bad and what's in this one is it gonna be no it's not diamonds oh man also that was it absolutely horrible rubbish fortress loads of walkways no loot for me unfortunately so we didn't get very lucky there um which is a bit of a shame i summoned across another bastion remnants can't believe i keep stumbling into these generally these are this really common structure now i don't know why they're so common um but hey they are which is nice got another pig step that's the third one now i keep stumbling into all of these chests and look we found ourselves a another endpoint frame but this guy did not want me to take that but yes goodbye sir you have been ripped and this one uh is another bastion remnants sorry guys i keep cutting this up as you know it was very long uh searching for these as i keep saying um but yeah oh yeah i remember this one this i got absolutely ambushed i decided to have a quick look at this chest without even killing any of these guys they do not like it when you open chests do they that was a very close call look at them all wow they're all in all that whole bastion remnants was terrible there was no end portal frames i'm literally going in there for chess looting to find endpoint frames didn't find any so we're still on the hunt for another fortress um i decided to go a bit higher than usual as you can see i'm at y96 with this strider probably not the best bet but i was determined to keep this mr strike mr shivers two alive um as you can see he's only got two hearts left he's taking a bit of a beat in we have been together for a very long time and uh i'm trying to get him down here safely oh my god he's on one heart this is not gonna end very well is it um i see this little lava pool here and i think oh do striders float in lava you know how like mobs float up la water i was thinking maybe that's what they do so i sipped up a fire resistance potion and it kind of worked i wanted to go down not up oh god um yeah mr shivers two is mr shivered so we got another schreider and i just wanted to show you this as well i eventually lost my gold helmet um also when you jump in with lava with a strider if you if you kind of go under the lava a little bit you will blow on fire um i ran out of viruses as potions but hey ho we found another bastion remnants i told you i found so many of these things but yes unfortunately the loot was terrible so going from the first time i went into the nether i had so much luck i've run out basically and it was really starting to die on me and then i spotted this it's so cool seeing another fortress in the lava like that i really like it but yes we found a chest and add one diamond i literally need one more diamond and a way i can go to make this diamond helmet yes we got five i'm getting out of here we're doing it so i get all the way back home absolute nightmare we get home we get home with a strider and um i don't know what it is with this world but it rains all the time now if you have ever played any of my marketplace maps or maps it rains all the time on them so maybe it's a uh a drp reference there i i don't really know um but either way the strider is gonna be safe we're not making that same mistake again but yes i make myself my diamond helmet which is lovely so i upgrade it i give it mending and projectile protection so we got some we got a bit of a mix of protection on me which is quite nice yes obviously i'm gonna go and upgrade this now um i'm done using gold helmets i don't care about the piglins anymore they can just die in my opinion but to be honest i don't find them that much of a fret i think they're very weak and the piglin brutes and the piglens in general i don't think they're strong at all as long as you've got never right gear on and with knockback resistance it's very good but yes i am missing a bit of mending but there we go we have got mending on everything and everything is very op right now um i still to this day can't believe that i've done all this from a bonus chest yes i had to modify the code a little bit just to give myself a bit of lava and a couple of blazer rods to make a brewing stand but unbelievable unbelievable all the gold i got from the bastion remnants i have gone ahead and started to do a bit more bartering to get myself some more obsidian and crying obsidian and i've obviously gone ahead and gone and mined up a load of cobblestone what am i working towards here uh oh dad's gonna kill the river oh wow at least try we don't know if he's gonna succeed or not do we yeah um so yes i decided to take these with the skulls and that is exactly what i'm gonna go ahead and do so i managed to go back into the nether and make a bit of a portal quite far away from my other one about 180 blocks away not too far but i just wanted to make this um kind of like arena with a fighting arena area place just to make it safe for me i don't want a river flying around all my stuff i've made um because he will destroy everything in its path basically so yeah am i now a load of dirt obviously bedrock is an unbreakable block um the river can't do anything about bedrock so i thought this is quite a good strategy and crying obsidian has got a really high blast resistance just like obsidian and obviously i get crying obsidium from the bartering so i use obsidian and crying obsidian to make a bit of a frame to try and lock the um the wither in i know the weaver can break the blocks okay it's not i don't know that i'm just trying to encase it a bit more to give me a bit more of a fighting chance and a bit of protection basically i managed to um build it all the whole frame i go to sleep i brought a bed with me because i was clever and a uh wondering trader spawned in with orange tulips this is something i don't have so i bought that in the end i needed more cobblestone to finish off the wither little arena and this time i decided to take king with me my horse um just to travel across a bit quicker and uh yeah as you can see this is really coming on apart from i need a bit more obsidian there and uh yeah i just wanted to start making a bit of the roof because the only thing i can't really get is obsidian very easily the only way of getting it is bartering or buying it um but yes i make a bit of a roof with the rest of the cobblestone i've got i still need to get some more and a couple of zombie friends wanted to say hi as you can see and i was done there so i was riding back with king and um something happened for god's sake this i genuinely was like oh my god i'm dead i am actually dead but luckily my arm is quite strong poor king he died in honor of uh dan falling in a pit of lava death i genuinely thought i was dead guys but i also remembered the turmoil dying gives you fire resistance so i probably would not have died i was also quite keep forgetting i've got a dome in my hand poor king rest in peace buddy that was a very good horse again like the previous one so yeah i decide with all the never i got and obtained from mining back up here i'm just gonna make it safer now and also i named the um the portal frame there just a um you know the the the river area basically um but yes we have made the actual arena now which is quite cool i still need to get some more obsidian so next up i went ahead and started to grow the orange tulips that i acquired from the wandering trader obviously orange tulips are very very cool for me because they can go in my flower pot and also the shepherd likes orange dye right so this is another way of me making a bit more emeralds right um it saves me growing yellow and red and mixing them together and then i started to think about my whole pig farm as in my gold farm i decided i'm smashing this stupid clock thing i've made it's awful and i decided to come up with this now something i never realized you can actually light a never pool within the middle of a never pool if that makes any sense i always thought you had to light the actual obsidian so this is where this has given me a massive headache um but yes i designed this contraption and it genuinely is pretty flawless apart from the odd occasional bit of lava that was spit out maybe i should switch the lava for water but i think lava is better because it flows a lot slower um i definitely need to remove this wood so i do eventually but there is some hiccups if you turn this on and off with a lever you will constantly get a load of lava pouring out um but yes as you can see i can sit back and don't even have to worry about this when they actually run out of flint and still it just turns off by itself the only thing you have to do is start it up by lighting the portal first so yeah i decided to go ahead and um put a load of trapdoors and redesign the whole thing basically just because it's way better i'd find another horse and yeah it's pretty quick but it's jump is terrible and it's got a bit more health than the original king um i don't know if it's super quick or not i just couldn't remember the speed because i've been on so many striders i guess but yes king v2 has now been born and uh i think what we're gonna do now is get back in the nether to do some bartering what's going on oh dear this is something i never thought about because my nether portal is right above my house where the villagers are if piglets go through their zombified piglens this happens oh my god that is an absolute nightmare um i genuinely did not expect that and i thought it was gg there a lot of those guys piled on you will definitely take you out in a couple of seconds luckily i had a load of protection on and stuff right and i was ready for it but yes we managed to kill them i get myself quite a few levels and gold from that as well definitely did not intend that to happen but um rather than me cutting it out i thought i would show you anyway yes i wanted to do some more bartering and getting some more blocks and stuff to finish this um kind of arena off but then i remembered back i think it was from like the second the 200 days video i made um i did a a never portal trick right to get obsidian um basically i'm gonna do that again because it's very slow but now i've got myself a better pickaxe and you know it's not that far distance i can do this quite quick it's quicker than me probably going to get a load of gold and stuff like that so essentially i duped a load of um obsidian by going in a nether portal basically and breaking it each time that's what i was doing but yes i managed to finish off the arena look and uh it's ready to go dan's getting a bit scared at this moment so i decided to break this any little blocks i can gather and take it's good for me for a bit of protection um i put a button on this iron door that i made to keep myself safe um oh my god guys it's happening you know what we're gonna do we're gonna break this skull and we're going to kill a wither in a survival flat world if i die guys you know this is over right the last time i fought a river i got absolutely destroyed on a sky block word with my good friends would you face place um i was not looking forward to this i got very prepared though i got never right gear we can't fail this we got this right so he's broke the stairs already okay um oh there we go so from learning about the weather and reading up it can break the obsidian only with the blue skull so if it's those other skulls it's not a problem yes the with a trap or the arena was a big fail as per usual um dan's idea was terrible but uh yeah the only good thing about it is i can hide here and get d withered and stuff like that also i remembered i got him all the way to half health by the way with my bow i remembered that he um if he shoots like animals or any entity and they die they drop river roses so i'm not really going to kill another whiffer probably maybe i will i don't know um but i wanted to get myself a river raise because i need every flower for the flower pots right and not only that it gives you black dye um i don't really have a lot of squids do i um so yeah this is the only really way of me getting um black dye at this current point i would say rather than just fishing yes i managed to get into the melee mode and i can just drink a potion and smack this guy to death not very difficult i'm not gonna lie it was a quite a boring battle i don't really want to show you too much because genuinely it was quite boring it was basically me waiting drinking up healing up shooting him with a bow and then smacking him to death with a sword that was as exciting as it was guys but anyway we defeated a wither and i got myself one with a rose but i think i actually end up getting myself two in the end i do find another one on the floor but yes we got ourselves another star so i can actually use the neverstar to crack myself up a beacon which in all honesty it's good but is it really worth it i mean i don't really need to do a lot of mining on here do i really need a beacon it's more for show really and just for something i can get but yes i thought about the actual beacon frame and i think the best thing to use is probably emeralds because they're the easiest thing to for me to get the fastest thing for me to get and uh yeah that's what i go for in the end also you can see i'm kind of redesigning my home a little bit um put in the new flower there but yes there we go we have got a beacon i put a diamond in here because i thought you know what i'm so filthy rich now i could do this why not and i go for speed in the end because generally the others aren't really gonna give me a lot of benefits really um i was thinking about haste but then i thought to be honest it's kind of pointless if you know what i mean yes we put it over there so next up i decided to go back into the nether and try to get all of these end portal frames that i need i need a total of i can't remember how many i need off the top of my head i need end portal frames basically so i thought i would put all this kind of clips into a bit of a montage um just to show you how long and how much of these structures i have found but don't forget in the top left corner you can see the actual days as well which is a nice feature now um so yeah i'll shut up and i'll be back okay okay hmm so that was about three and a half hours to four hours worth of searching and i only found one end portal frame but i did get myself some new banners which is really great high five there but yes i decided to um write in a diary because i wanted to just say about the wither i never mentioned anything about that but then i also mentioned that i still need five more portal frames so if you think about it that took me three and a half hours to four hours to do that and i got one frame it's really hit and miss isn't it with the end pull frames but yes i stumbled in into another bastion remnants this time i got in the complete opposite direction because i know i have not been in the minus minus coordinates yes the first bastion remnants i found i found this many end portal frames which is absolutely crazy i genuinely i i was just like what i just spent hours upon hours searching for these things and you genuinely don't know what your luck is like to you on minecraft and the first one i found free guys absolutely bonkers really really bonkers but it wasn't all happy sailing after that i tell you that that's a fact um i found so many never fortresses but look at my coordinates i just can't stress this enough i am so far out now obviously i don't have an elytra or elytra however you pronounce it i only have a strider but bear in mind this is not the original strider now guys mr shivers three is no more he's been shivered away but i kid you not i was on my way home basically i was heading to go to zero 34 minus four six one five or whatever i was heading for zero and then i was gonna go the other direction to get back to zero and i was just digging and i stumbled across this bastion remnants and uh i know you're probably gonna think like he knew where that was how would i have known where that was i have no idea but anyway i just started looking around and um it's like digging as per usual and i spotted a chest there it is behind me there we go it's got an end portal frame no way right so we've got four we need literally one more guys and there it is i am so over the moon with this i really lost so much patience with this i was like i say seven to eight hours recorded all of this clip just to do get end portal frames basically this is why i'm afraid unfortunately this video is a bit longer than normal because i had to put it all in but yes we got mr shivers number nine this is by the way i counted exactly how many times he died that's my ninth strider guys but yes we have completed an end portal frame in a flat world so that means i could go and fight the dragon if i placed all that correctly we shall see we shall see i'm so over the moon with this guys i genuinely i've really thought i made it too rare um the the important frame but no it's perfect it's it's fair i would say it's very fair um i know i also mentioned about the nine um striders in that little section there in the book so yes we're gonna have to go ahead and make ourselves another name tag in a minute to call him mr shivers number nine unfortunately we lost quite a few pets on this and i also found another diamond i found like i said i've found a lot of never structures as well um fortresses but there we go we have got the um mr shivers nine on a name tag and we've actually named him now and also i'm prepping up a bit of a chest here my last couple of days just to get prepped up for the end battle um obviously the end of dragon i made myself an ender chest as well obviously you could find these in um end cities so i thought it was quite a good thing to place down and have because you know i've got a silk touch axe anyway i can obviously pick it back up as well i managed to get myself um enough obsidian to um finish off the actual um farm the gold farm and i made myself a blast furnace there and i'm just gonna write in the diary here nothing i tricked you i was looking for the coordinates that i write down for this weird blaze spawner i found you remember that was hidden in like the fortress somewhere it was just like there if you watch that back legends thank you very much for all the support but if you remember that um this is where i make a bit of a blaze farm now i decided to make a blaze farm that my good friend lister told me about and showed me and i also made a video for that i'll have an icon pop up in the top left corner now if you don't know what this kind of farm is it's a no redstone blaze farm it's very cheap but it uses famous trapdoors but uh yes the main reason of that is just so i got a lot of fuel rather than relying on kelp all the time i also go back to my iron farm and make myself a load of hoppers i make this fully automatic because it was good with the water but i'm a bit richer than that now i can afford to do hoppers now um but on any of that the water was actually putting out the cats and the actual iron golems so now i go names will happily just go full in there as you can see but i'm noticing there's a bit of a weird thing going on here and i decide to actually upgrade this and i put packed eyes that i've got from the wandering trader around the edges so they slide in easier because sometimes the iron gunner likes to swim up the lava um also i'm constantly turning this thing back on because obviously i've got all the iron now to make more flint and still um which is really nice as you can see this thing does produce me quite a bit of gold and you might notice that i've actually started growing a bit of pumpkins now and that has fixed my issue with the pumpkin trader um which is quite nice and lastly the last couple of days i wanted to prepare my base to make it a bit more secure so i'm not sure if this is a thing or not but i'm pretty sure it is i need to actually check it out on the wikipedia or something but um i'm pretty sure grass paths don't spawn mobs on them but at least it won't spawn um cows and sheep and stuff but yes another skeleton thingy spawned in i don't even know what he called him and i decided to call this guy skelly bob um yes i acquired another one of these this time i wasn't having this guy teleport through the floor or whatever he did but yes like say the last couple of days i'm literally going around with my shovel growing some oak saplings to make a wall and going around doing grass paths um i decided to use a black stone it with my wool as well just to help use up some black stone from all the bartering trades but like to say the main reason of this is just to avoid creepers coming in enderman because i keep pinching my blocks all the time and moving them but just to make my area secure that was the idea with all the extra egg i had leftover i decided to make some um stairs to go around the outside so then i got a bit of a fancier wool looking thing um rather than just having literally just some oak i wanted to give it a bit of a design basically and uh lastly i went around all of these different pillars i put with half slabs and i put torches on them as well just to help prevent any more hostile mobs spawning and uh i know all in all i think it's a pretty cool idea i did that and i just wanted to write in the book here that um the last 500 days has been absolutely insane guys um thank you very much for all the support i genuinely can't believe this on this series one of the best
