I Spent $1,000 On Lost Cargo To Resell on Ebay

we've all fallen victim to items that have not shipped or have gotten lost in transit whether we're sending something to a customer or whether we're buying something occasionally shipments get lost and what happens to a lot of those items they end up at auction and you can buy them for a fraction of the retail cost i've seen other youtubers dabble in buying mystery pallets of items either amazon returns or lost shipment items i found an auction house that was selling off gaylords of lost freight this auction house has a deal with a freight company and items that get lost just get sent to this auction and they're auctioned off by the pallet usually by like items all of these items are unmanifested so all you ever get are a few snapshots of the top of the gaylord you get a few name brands and then much more that's all you ever know so it is a little bit of a gamble every time you do something like this but i thought what the heck i'll bring all of you guys along as i do it so i started sniffing around and i saw a clothing palette with some outdoor brands that i like to sell and i thought i'd keep my eye on it did some bidding just above a thousand dollars 1025 and i won so i drove to the warehouse i found my lot number took my big palette over to my car and started loading once my car was full about 20 minutes later i drove home and my husband helped me pull everything out of the car and into the living room where we dumped it off and started the sorting process okay good heavens there's so much to unpack here okay so i've set up a couple bins here for high-end stuff if there is any i kind of took a peek and there is some exciting stuff but a lot of it's going to be in this big pile in front of our piano which will be just for donations and then anything that's kind of bread and butter i'm not super excited about but i think i will still list in my ebay store i'm going to stick right in front of these bins in a pile so we're going to have a pile system going these are some i'm guessing peloton shoes right or or the machine or the uh yeah these are brand new peloton cycling shoes these sell for 75 plus shipping all right which is great filas i've actually sold this exact thing before i believe these sell for around twenty five dollars few is like not a great brand but gosh if these were my kids size i'd almost give it to them iso toner slippers memory foam memory foam huh okay so it looks like these sell for around 25 this has original shrink wrap on it still none bush these are the summer mountain slip-on shoe i'm actually going to keep the plastic on but i'll show you guys a picture here so these sell on amazon for 53. on ebay these are selling for around 26 plus 15 shipping it's like 40. kind of what i guess crocs i actually really like selling crocs i've sold them pre-owned okay these are the crocs unisex navy brand spanking new looks like these sell for around 40 new unless tj wants to keep them definitely are crocs still cool the crocs have had the most interesting ride they were like popular made fun of and now way back inside i think they did even in a collab with valenciaga wait this one this next one has to be the high-end pile is this the my pillow guy yeah he does my slippers i own the my pillow he has a microphone i really like the mic i don't i might want to keep the my slippers when i saw these i thought of you because i was like he's gonna want to keep these i mean not bad quality the my slippers oh my gosh take a guess of what these are worth uh 50 bucks 75 35 75 bucks you guys high end pile a6 i sold a lot of asics in the past so these are the ortholite and because i've sold these i know they sell for about 40. dolce vita i don't always pick them up but if it's cute i will okay this is the dolce vita braided it's like a braided slip-on sandal they're called the stella sandals so i can look that up pretty easily i see one pre-owned that sold for 65 dollars so since these are brand new that's a great find north facing i know i know these will be good these are some north face boots and they are the men's chill cat pre-owned they sell for a hundred bucks oh but new 180. wow nice that's that the best one so far i think it might be the best one so far i thought when i looked at this i was like is this going to be a fake but this is a tory burch i was like is this a lunchbox no it's probably a makeup bag it is real from what i can tell it's got the the interior stitching looks really good the logo looks good everything inside looks good the individual bags look good so i'm gonna call this real brand new i need to find the exact style name but this could sell for around 50 to 75. so so far we're getting like all the good stuff right away i mean believe me when i was unpacking i saw a lot of stuff that wasn't so great so i think we're we're showing the gold mines right away so coolibura is a brand it's an off-brand of ugg and these in the past have sold for me for around 80 okay so yeah i'm seeing comps between 50 and 75 i think that it'll be on the higher end it's a little bit of a taller boot than the ones i'm seeing so that's great hey dude i've actually sold these shoes in the past and they sold really quickly so they're sold at buckle these are the leah gray they're like a high top slip-on i see one sold for a hundred dollars one sold for seventy dollars so probably somewhere between there that's great how much 70-100 whoa awesome are you ready for this yes what oh my gosh what bam another pair of my slippers this is like 75 bucks this is great yeah these are the black ones you guys you want your my slippers i'll hook you up okay these are called neos overshoe has a handy graphic explaining you put it over your shoe it's like a waterproof slip-on turn yeah turn any shoe into a boot guess what these are worth 75 are you serious oh 120 oh my gosh so beckett simon and simon and none whatever i've sold their shoes before but i've never sold their belts this is a belt it's called the nelson belt okay so i'm not seeing any cops for the belt the shoes can go for 50 to 100. i'm just gonna estimate about 25 bucks for the bill ashley look at the shoe shoes for cruise oh for crew a shoe for crew it is a sign this is meant to be it's like a really simple loafer these are called the brooklyn logan all right i'm seeing like 45 35 to 45 this one i was excited about when i saw it i wonder okay i'm gonna see if tj knows okay well what does it say on it uh all too well is that something the red scarf is that sounds not ring a bell this guy in his pop culture an all too well taylor swift branded hoodie dang if only we had the red scarf that goes for like a hundred bucks 200 bucks dang i don't see exact cops i see one that's an all-too-well taylor swift hoodie for 150 so it's 150-ish and when you don't see comps this is how i go about it i price high and i see what offers roll in oh these are the adidas ultra boosts i love selling ultra boosts so on ebay they sell for a hundred dollars brand new so that's fantastic this is a brand called penny and lev i haven't actually heard that before a vegan leather two in one here it is like a basic handbag 25 to 30. not what i was i'm just excited i can sell so many things there's a lot in here though that i'm not gonna be able to sell wax jean i have one two three four five of them yeah these this isn't the brand i look out for at the swift i mean i've seen it it's kind of a cheaper brand so i can probably only sell these for like 15 we got a bunch i got a lot of these yeah go go star red pants red jeans go go star jeans ah prion sell for like 15. i'm not seeing any comps for like the red ones so these might be like 15 15 each cool is a great brand this is the relic hoodie by cool you guys know i love cool this sells for about 129 whoa spanx spanx great brand name and these are the spanx faux leather which is awesome these sell for about 75 dollars wow that's great okay i don't know what this will sell for i don't see comps for it so okay i brand new eighteen dollars so for boys maybe 10 15. big time what the heck is this well they retail for seven dollars if it retails for seven dollars i don't even want to think about what it would oh tommy bahama tommy bahamas hate or miss but brand new is usually pretty good island zone polo long sleeve it retails for 110 and it's a it's a 3xl which is a great size okay so brand new in the 45 dollar range so that's cool cool okay my other camera died so we're gonna switch things up this is uniqlo 100 cashmere though which we like we love cashmere sweaters so it retails for a hundred dollars okay i think i could sell this for around forty dollars you know a lot of jay jill digitalism is fine it's not like the most exciting brand but it's like a mall brand it retails for good money another one this retails for a hundred dollars okay so since this is brand new i think i can sell this for around 35 that goes for most of the jjill items oh like the basic tees the basic shirts probably only around 20 don't they look like that though they do look like a balenciaga style sneaker uh dreama does anyone want some valenciaga someone's gonna buy this baby they're too crazy oh my gosh i'm sorry i'm dying that is so cute this is a must keep for crewy all right i got some ugg fashion no these are bugs they are ogc fashion you see how they even mimic the logo this is garbage yeah another ripoff of uggs okay so these this brand makes underpants and undergarments specifically for postpartum which is really cool okay good thing they're brand new all right retails for 75 dollars advanced corduroy shirt men's 25 bucks this is like a fake leather jacket pretty little thing yeah these are all like these don't sell for hardly anything okay so these might just be donate i yeah i'm thinking that the pretty little thing stuff might just be done there's jeans too they're like dollars ten dollars i mean they're just not great this is the north face men's glacier pink quarter zip and it's long sleeve that's great retails for 59. means i could probably sell it for like 45 some more shoes these are some waterproof boots rubber boots oh no these are also shoes for crews and these are the sentry boots the ones that are not knee height are selling for like 50. so i think these could sell for like 75 since their knee high that's fantastic that's great very heavy oh carhartt firm duck insulated bib overall like a work and it's a 2xo it works tall carhartt sells great 80 bucks oh it's great yeah 80 bucks this is great chloe and cyrus this is probably just oh stitch fix so this is the stitch picks sweater yeah i'm not really seeing a lot of comps for this so it's like a short sweater i'll still try to sell it maybe 15 bucks no bow no boundaries snowballs not great but this is like a very cozy sherpa fleece quarters it and it's a 2xl so i'll still try to sell it but i know i won't be able to get more than like 20 bucks for it this is a hugo boss pullover blue retails for 95 this could sell for like 50 bucks wow yeah which is great here's another no yeah no bo is a no-go i may just donate them lumia wow i've never heard of this brand it's a huge knit cardigan the brand is luna this sells for a ton of money how much like 150 bucks whoa new robe that sold for 300. how have i not heard of this before it does feel really nice so i could sell this for around 150 bucks maybe maybe more a malcolm x roots of fight i'm not seeing any comps for the malcolm x one but i think i can sell this for around thirty dollars hunting jacket yeah real tree hunting jacket realtree is not like the best outdoor hunting brand but okay it retails for 50. 59. so that means i can probably sell it for like 25 30 but still that's pretty cool the dsg sweatpants yeah these are like a 13 14 sale not great this is kind of unbranded this is gonna be in the donate pile i think is that like a french bulldog or just a bulldog i don't know someone might want this okay this one's interesting yeah what are these medical blades what like from a medical company so like for like surgery that could be worth a lot yeah bsn medical titanium cast blade 20 of them for use on plaster okay so they use these to cut off casts okay i might not be allowed to sell these i don't know i'm on the edge of my seat brand new these sell for like 25 bucks up to i see one for 65 bucks titanium yeah well let's take this there's different kinds in here i mean i'm only only comp i'm seeing is for one stainless steel that's 25 bucks and these this is a pack of six cool 150 bucks each magical blades that's so weird so random free country i've sold before i had a bunch of their jackets and they sold for 25 each so i'm guessing this will be about the same extra large like a faux sherpa plush jacket retails for 90. yeah i think i could sell this for around 25. the naruto collection these sell for like 25 30 carhart xl hoodie yeah probably anywhere between 35 and 45. adidas 70 bucks retail adidas is great it's pretty cool it's 70 someone had this and they sold it for less than 48 they took a best offer but yeah this could sell for around 40 to 50. this is the carhartt rain defender it's 2xl which we love okay i see one that sold it's the hoodie this is not a hoodie though one that sold for 80 one that sold for 50. so i'm gonna guess around the 75 dollar range for this especially because it's 2xl it's a great size crewy you get two shoes this is the bread luna is this the one you liked yeah another luna another luna this is the washable silk tea set oh my gosh not on are you kidding me for a t-shirt no it's a silk pajama set full of raw foreign ralph lauren retails for 125. it's just a polo sweater brand new i think i could sell this for like 50 bucks we love fabletics i don't pick it up super often anymore because when it does the pre-owned doesn't sell for super great but 2x and they are high-waisted power hold 7 8 leggings i see one that sold for 45 dollars in this size so that's great oh another carhartt hoodie and it's got the logo on the side we love that i could sell this for around 45. footjoy is a golf brand and i love selling it when i find it this is brand new obviously this is the lightweight striped half zip pullover i'm seeing comps around 30 to 40 for even just pre-owned so brand new maybe like 50 bucks this is another pair of the powerhole leggings in 2x so yeah another 40-ish dollars this is just like a basic men's tea so i don't know that this will go for very much but it is brand new so maybe like 20 dollars not sure about that fabletics more fabletics ambiance yeah ambiance apparel is like sold at really low end stores so i'm just going to donate these another jjill this is the wherever collection retails for 89. but it's just like a basic cardigan open front so this will probably be around 35 bucks we love under armour love selling under armour another one this is a full zip hoodie 45 it's a youth large another is called a rival fleece hoodie retails for 45. under armour doesn't sell for a lot all the time but it tends to sell quick for me if i can get the right price this is a men's rival fleece hoodie gray this is like a waffle knit under armor hoodie 2x which is a great size i think this is the same retail for 35 these are called the hustle fleas short so do we need to keep them or yeah that's great tommy bahama graphic tee you don't see many of those it's in a good size triple xl love that this one sold for 50 bucks new wow and it wasn't even a 3x so 3x will sell for even more that's great just like some basic like you know you see those at target like the band t's the band sweaters the def leopard sweaters these are so great oh forever 21. do i pick up forever 21 at the thrift no but i will totally list these they're graphic sweaters and i have six of them so that's great league 91 college of charleston hoodie comfort choices 40g bra this would have worked when i was pregnant this is a sundry sweater i see a lot of sundry in here it feels kind of nice sweater's going for like 30 bucks so that's good and perella five pack ladies boy short underpants 10 to 15. this is retails for 80. the brand is vrst cd is selling new for 50 bucks on ebay so that's great rhone is sold at nordstrom it's like an activewear brand for men this is the rain tech short sleeve retails for 78 i can probably sell this for around 40. road nails is good wait i see brand new selling for 30 bucks they're 25 bucks some nike shorts and these retail for 50 bucks easy sell love selling nike oh we got a nike hoodie so women's 1x love selling nike hoodies it retails for 65 bucks they'll probably be around 45 buckle jeans sell for a lot i don't know about buckle black but it's 84 retail and newest tags should sell for on 40 i think oh patagonia men's boxer briefs heck yeah pataguchi these retailed for 30 bucks oh this is reformation so i've only ever sold like their shirts and tees before but this is a dress it retails for 248 dollars okay it's the alessi dress this dress sold for 150 dollars wow awesome that's awesome funny this is ray dunn i've only ever like heard of raydon being popular with the mugs oh it's a christmas themed pajama set it's a raglan top and jogger scent okay so these are selling for like thirty dollars brand new but they only sold right before christmas so i think these will still sell is it no it is wait no it is the same one no kidding wow that's crazy but i also see a comp for 20 i don't know but these could be i mean at least 40 right it's great all right the rest i mean i don't have anything else that exciting the rest is just extremely random this is the keep pile that i'm gonna list and then this is the donate pass that's a pretty big donate pile clearly you can see by the time we got to the end of everything it was a lot that was just kind of crap when all was said and done and i had everything bagged to be donated and counted up everything that i had that i thought i could resell it amounted to over five thousand dollars in items that i could resell that's gross sales if you subtract out the 1076 that i paid and then the 10 of the ebay fees that ebay takes is actually a little bit more than 10 when you factor in their managed payments fee and then you factor in what i estimate i'll use to ship everything that does amount to about 2500. in net profit now the downsides are it was a lot of work to sort through everything and a lot of these things i'm not sure if they'll sell very quickly on ebay you get some really good stuff and then you get some kind of duds that might sit in my store for quite a long time still i thought it was a lot of fun to take you guys along and it is really fun to go through so many items and be surprised by what you find do you guys want me to do it again if you do tell me in the comments down below and if you liked
