I Spent 100 Days in Dwarf Fortress

I spent a hundred days in Dwarf Fortress and I built a massive forest and drink lots of beer are playing on the default difficulty welcome to Dwarf Fortress so we're here in a very defaulty World nice map but we will just start off I think we will just mine straight in here and get started yeah we have silver here you're smiling away nice also going to gather some bushes here and chop down some wood we will make a stockpile for the wood there we go get some wood going nice let's get going yeah I'm just going to also make an area for the animals to stay in but we are in quite the nice area here and we have mined out all of this let's make the proper base layout there we go let's make a simple area also get some bedrooms up yeah with this blueprint I also want to make some doors and everything so let's make a workshop here it will make a stone worker I don't know right there and then a carpenter we will make beds for everyone and with this done I'm going to make rock doors um and to make rock doors why do I hear this like demon like sound I do not like it get some more crops going and we got this mined out so I think I'll make this a simple Workshop or something [Music] foreign [Music] here nice base design and we're going to make some doors here and I maybe want somewhere to go deep or to go and find a cavern okay this is done I will now move all the workshops here okay moving everything in here I got the bed stop so I'm going to smooth into walls here because then they will look good here we go okay make infinite Rock doors I need a lot of doors and I also want to set up some zones so I'm going to do that I want to borrow here I just make that all the way in here perfect so mine mine and all the bedrooms are going up come on make more doors [Music] and yeah we have Nolt here she has catched a lot of fish uh yeah now we're just going to play style now we're constructed beds in here yeah we also want to make a few what is it wooden chests [Music] um so uh chop here is gathering some plants nice okay how are the living areas we got beds for everyone nice okay deconstruct these workshops do not need them yeah we also need to make a trade Depot in case of Traders so get that perfect and we will smoothen all of this okay with this I think I might have I'm not sure maybe Tavern here I need storage as well [Music] okay so we got the space assigned here I'm going to have storage I think okay tons of wood as well nice we got like endless food we're fine and everybody has bedrooms here so we will go into bedroom and cover this up there we go bunch of doors and that that should be all of it I also got a bunch of hatches so it's just mine deep and make a Tavern right here so we'll just get a few tables down there we go make that a dining hall our dwarfs here are six happy one neutral that's all right okay I got storage here let's set this up they don't want corpses here I also want to make beer somewhere so I think we will have one of those places around here okay I think this will be our still Brewery nice okay Hall everyone we need uh stuff here we got some cabinets coming in as well as chests it's nice okay so we have 14 people now we just got Travelers I think okay we got four kids and uh two people uh I will also have to assign some people here I want a manager so and a bookkeeper we will create a new Squad here uh just a sign here they have a competent mace dwarf let's get that um proficient fighter so we don't need a big Squad but something is good okay at least we have that done um yeah let's just go on with the dwarfs and I want to also make a farming plot sometime I also want to make a wall around here okay we need more miners and we got a few adequate miners as you can see here we have 30 drink we need to make some more alcohol and I also want to make a well so let's make that in here I guess okay let's look at their needs here so Nick here uh we need a lot of stuff for him what is this green tree frog remains I also got an animal right here okay everything is dug out nice okay I will make us still here and get all of the barrels here okay get some wine here might as well make this a proper kitchen and make a butcher oh well this is done now uh yeah base is looking very good might as well make one more stockpile I would also like to plant some pump plump helmets so let's see what's down here play wall here so we'll go all the way here so we got food coming in raw muscle biscuits nice uh the up they're hauling the uh all the wine and liquor here so I will dig deep and try to get up get some planting growing okay and we're mining here um I would like to find a cavern actually but yeah we're mining some jumps here need more drinks what is going on I need to make some more bedrooms okay so making more bedrooms here and in our elevation here we are mining quite down we really want to find Cavern because Cavern soil is the best for planting um I would also like to smoothen out this tavern here we can also engrave artwork let's make some more Workshop a gem cutter a magma Forge we have no more drinks why aren't my people getting this now we're making drinks apparently okay I think I will have some storage down here okay making some more storage here hmm a caravan I should perhaps assign some more people we will get a manager as well okay Traders let's trade uh we're still unloading okay I'll also make bins because they can compact my storage there is much to share and make requests I think I will get some Plum helmet spawn I don't seem to have any items I guess I have to move my stuff here maybe I'll move up some muscle shells hmm it says no dining room but I have one right here my game crushed off but we are back here okay planning out the temple also want to expand the kitchen here let's see the child here he has a beard and everything I feel so good that is good yeah yes a good special sense a way with words and good intuition but he has really poor memory little patience and real really poor Focus what a useless dwarf yeah silver Diggity hole okay so I'm using the manager here to make Rock Tours if it's less than 10. let's go we will make wooden caskets ah Supply Caravan we will also make a bunch of pins okay bass is looking good our work orders are coming in I'm making caskets okay so I'm going to trade away my fish here we have a bunch of new pawns I also need to make a waffles for the manager okay made the office now everything is looking good but I need more drinks why aren't they getting me drinks hmm okay now he is doing something so it says here this work order has not been validated how do I do this okay I know it works okay so this is all the orders we have already I would also like to plant a bit so let's do that I'm going to mine right here elevation right below here we go we got some clay let's start farming um okay Dwarven child has been struck down what the hell happened here what wait the child went berserk well now we have a dead human corpse rip that child I guess it is splattered with her own blood okay I fill this up with water okay water right there okay so finally we will make a throne room I guess uh we need a throne room yeah and Maria's making some altars here I need to smoothen this I have also planned out the altars here uh can I see here three Rock altars and we have a lot of drinks now or my people using mugs I'm not sure where are my mugs and we will set this up as a temple here and I looked through this and Logan here has 14 worshipers let's make an offering place here okay got the well placed down here okay we got the well here nice um we are going to get some oh no too much water here oh I'll just block that up need to farm some more here let's make a farming area we got 700 food she's going to move all the way here and then place the corpse right in here perfect and we got this room up almost right here I'm also going to dig deep and make a bridge since uh that should kill creatures apparently there we go build a big bridge we have a lot of booze here a lot of alcohol okay we got the bridge here okay let's do this lump helmets [Music] well the Game just crashed again I
