I Rented a Korean Hanok House 🇰🇷

I'm about to check into a Korean hanok not sure I'm pronouncing that correctly but it is an old traditional Korean style home believe it would be the the home of U the uh the upper classes so I'm still here in Soul but as you can see the streets here are uh are smaller and it looks a lot different than uh what it did downtown but I'm actually not that far away from the downtown area it only took me uh 15 minutes with a taxi to get here and uh this is it this uh it's over so according to their website this is from the 18th century but obviously it looks like it has been uh renovated and uh and done up so that it can Now function as a hotel but uhoo I must say I'm mro impresso with the entrance here but let's uh let's get to to it shall we I'll film all this in one [Music] go oh okay is modern this is a oh I like the old school ones you know because Korean bathrooms are so Hightech like there like a computer you know I'm so old and dumb so I'm looking at it I'm like typing everywhere I don't understand how to even flush and this is a living room for everybody yeah I see but this is used to be the so to walk up here I got to take off my take off shoes Korean C cures take so we can go inside and have a look man if this is a middle class glass I must said they were balling well if this was middle class I can I can tell you uh your average Norwegian family was definitely not living this large in the 1840s yeah this must have been a huge huge family I don't know about the family structures back then but this seems to be to be more like a uh like a farm for a a uh huge family rather than a nuclear family of just a husband wife and a couple of kids guessing here we have the kitchen farming equipment oh here you know what hands down this this house where you could see how um a normal well according to the plet a normal family to me they look to have been quite well off lived is the coolest thing in this entire Royal um uh the palace complex in fact this is uh this is much cooler than where I'm staying at the moment as well let's go out back here and see now this is uh but this has obviously been relocated This Old House was not here on these um Royal Palace grounds uh so it's been relocated and and uh and probably restored and and pimped up a bit cuz this doesn't look 150 years old even though you never know some pottery this is probably I see now why this family was so wealthy and have hold on are we filming yes and have such a big home they were this was the local gongo Brewing operation and that's how they can have a a house with a with a six rooms and a huge a huge uh oh man this must be the dny yep even with a what's as you crouch down here this would be your your lower your lower back rest so you can kind of chill man Korean man they were ahead of their time in toilet technology already back in the 1850s wow this thing is so cool now here obviously you would have your chickens and this would be where you have your pork clock reserves exactly what you what you did with this contraption I don't know but man this was so cool absolutely and this is is a little away from the Royal Palace complex so if for some reason you you didn't know about this man this is way cooler than the actual Royal uh complex I wish I could stay in a place like that one day a proper Farm stay anyway let's get back to the hotel shall we
