you complaining about look at this you guys what do you mean what am i complaining about I've been to the desert many times all it is is a bunch of stupid rocks Sun even sunny you know Vancouver Island looks a lot different from here where are we whose car is this oh yeah thankfully not again I guess we do have to explain that where are we yeah well technically we're not where we're supposed to be we're actually in Arizona yeah but only by I think a mile yeah so we're technically supposed to be in Nevada surprise we came from Sin City and the car mm-hmm what kind are is that that is a Porsche gt3 RS for the big Wang you got some Porsche gt3 RS fans out there I know there are we the wing on this thing you guys Dave what do you figure this car I love this car like it's such an experience it's so gritty and loud and yeah this one's allowed this one's got a race race exhausted who likes race exhausts throw a comment so yeah this is a Porsche gt3 RS this model is a model they did not make in a manual gearbox so it is the PDK twin clutch which shifts hold on faster than I can snap it's a beautiful car it's been a lot of fun to drive until you run into a dead end I'm just joking to be honest we were playing up the whole the whole lost situation I actually missed the turn we were talking and I put a mile back that way we need to take an exit so we're just turning around thought we would start the vlog here for you guys on the side of this beautiful piece of Arizona desert because this is all we're gonna see of Arizona we're gonna we're gonna we're gonna go back to Nevada we got a cool landmark we want to show you guys something we haven't been to I've been to it before but it was never when I was vlogging it was a long time ago I was in the Scuderia yeah fun fact I was on a rally and we went to this to this landmark have you ever been there never so this is a first for Dave why don't we jump back in the GTRs fire it up to show you what this puppy sounds like head back to Nevada all of a mile in a bit get back to where we need to go I'm a damn virgin oh yeah I guess you are a damn virgin yeah let's fire this thing up Dave quickly and give the audience an exhilarating experience of the RS with race exhaust [Music] guess what I could taste that and it tastes good did you taste it oh yeah [Music] you look good in that thing look at like use your age what let's go fast [Music] [Music] [Applause] this is a fun car now I see why my buddies all bought them all right guys it's probably a giveaway that we're gonna go check out the Hoover Dam dave has never been here and I am NOT being here five years [Music] to the upper parking lot we'll go park the car and we'll come down and check out some of the dam and then we're also going to tell you guys some of the amazing features yeah what do you think I'm joking this is awesome guys pretty impressive isn't it damn sorry man those jokes just don't get old so what did we learn about the Hoover Dam when we were on Wikipedia it started in 1930 the 19th the mid-1930s right until the Great Depression and it was it was the first time they ever built something this big enough concrete majority of the tactics they employed have never been proven or tested before it was a big gamble 16 people died of heat exhaustion yeah I mean the dam was originally named Boulder Dam and then they changed it after President Hoover right but they built the entire city to build it down 6,000 people were employed at one point building this down it's a lot it's impressive you got to come here and see it for yourself really I we drove all the way out here because one we had an amazing car to drive and to David never seen it but you can imagine like there's people standing on it like if you can even pick up or grasp the sheer size of the Hoover Dam check this out they look like ants you see all the people walking [Music] all right you guys Portia's gt3rs what an exciting vehicle to drive first of all Dave and I are in love with it so let's start at the heart of the beast it's a 4 liter flat 6 and I have to show it to you I'm sure it's absolutely stunning the wings a little heavy if you like to do it yourself not in this car well there we go there's the proof that I'm not a liar gt3 RS 4 liter it's a flat six beautiful fans but all jokes aside it produces 500 horsepower and it's putting it down through the massive two rear wheels the tires on this bad boy are at a staggering by the way they're michelin sport cup cooze and what do we got for sizes oh dude it's a 325 that's bigger than my Huracan rear wheels well 358 foot-pounds of torque and some you know how much 358 so the gt3 RS is gonna put down basically a 0 to 60 in 3.1 seconds and it's gonna do the quarter mile in eleven point two seconds not too shabby considering this is a track focused car I mean this is meant to destroy on the circuit yeah also fun on the twisties on the roads here unfortunately we're limited to uh I think it's like a 10 no it's like a 5 mile an hour speed limit around the Hoover Dam you're on check this out guys it has the center lock wheels fun fat for 800 pound feet of torque to crack that lug nut is it really the torque wrench you'll have to carry as literally as like the borrowed like to hear the crack it yeah nuts fun fact I didn't know that so Center locks are a racing heritage thing and I wonder why they put them on streetcars is it literally just to say you got that that Street theme going or the story the race being going for your street car you wants my dyslexia kicking in there the whole block is for race cars and they're doing a quick tire change it's one big lug nut rip it off the tire on so a street car it really makes no sense it's just cool it's a cool factor one of the most predominant body styling characteristics as well as obviously it's functional for the downforce is this massive rear picnic table actually comfortable we just ate or else we would have been eating on the wing right now no I mean in all in all fairness this has a fat booty tons of girth and the wing adds that beautiful beautiful element look at that I think one of my hands-down favorite features of all cars is a massive wing like this place dude one just crouch down bear with me crouch down and look at look at that the wing Trump's you Dave purpose a louvered fenders another racing characteristic is to release all the heat from the brake calipers when you're hammering on it now this car would come with ceramics but obviously royalty exotics they're renting these cars out on the daily and they don't want to have to replace ceramic so they put steel brakes all around on all their cars and they are of course the Porsche steel brake that's actually a good quick fact did we even say that the cars from royalty yet I don't think we did guys the car is from royalty exotic car rentals in Las Vegas give AJ a shout at the front desk drop the DBA name you can drop our name it's like it's like walking into a club and saying you're with the DJ that's right and they're gonna give you guys a deep discount so that you can take these cars out and have a lot of fun these cars road and head back we'll talk more about the Porsche okay guys we are back inside the car I want to point out a couple of key facts here so Alcantara steering wheel very thick and sporty feeling it's got the 12 o'clock ring so you know if the steering wheel is upside down and the wheels are turned you know which way you're going there lots of little bits of carbon fiber you got your PDK shifter right here to lighten this car up it's obviously the lightweight model more horsepower lighter weight track-focused instead of having door handles it has this little nylon that's it nylon door handle the cool thing in the back here is it's actually got no rear seats so they stripped it out even though the 911s don't really have a rear seat they've taken the extra bits and pieces to save weight Dave is currently sitting in a carbon fiber bucket race seat exactly the same seat they put in their hyper car the 918 sexy seats and they do come in multiple sizes luckily for me they've got I believe a large seat in this car so large that's the white edition so why don't we go through the procedures if you've never started a portion before won't we show you guys how to operate this thing step one get yourself the key now unlike a lot of modern cars this is not a fob and there is no start button on the steering wheel or over on the console it's a little more old-fashioned you're going to take the key and actually put it in and turn it in the ignition a neat feature of Porsches is the ignition is not over here where you traditionally would think it is it's on the left hand side right over here key in put on the brake turn it over till she fires up next step you got your foot on the brake here's your ability to take the gear at the gear lever and put it into gear I'm going all the way down to drive if I want to drive it with the PDK twin clutch system I've have my right gearing up my left gearing goes down on the paddles on the steering wheel but in order to enable out I got to push it over into manual if I want I can leave it in Drive and it'll do all the shifting for me if I want to drive into manual so and slap it over now to make more noise really get the car awake we're gonna hit the PDK sport that's gonna be more aggressive shifting we want the noise for sure the noises right here over here we want to stiffen the dampers so when we get out of here we've got the maximum amount of you know traction what we're doing you know city highway driving it'll be good if you need to lift the nose it does have a lift in this car super handy and this is all your traction control we're gonna leave that alone we're not sliding the car around today and essentially that's it release the brake turn off by the way park brake is just down here gonna push that in it'll turn I'll pull it it'll turn that off we might even need some lights for the way home which would be fun let's turn the lights on hold look at those gauges like I like I like it all right Dave great hit the road brother already hit the road brother okay and guys guess what it's got cup holders oh yeah - boom-boom I don't get wet just wait just wait that's likely right see you later that's a to royalty exotics because those bastards just picked up a Bugatti Veyron and not any Bugatti Veyron a Mansoori addition it is a carbon bodied work of art it's black and white the two-tone I love the way it looks it's honestly like I've seen Bugattis in the past and they're impressive but this one my saw knows like down it is nuts and our friends invited us down to make a little video with it now due to the you know extreme cost of this car even with insurance I am scared to take this car out I can't afford to write a check to replace it so we've made a deal with the owner Houston to go with him in the car and at some point out of the city limits might be able to get behind the wheel of it for a few miles but for the most part girl in Houston show it off talk to Houston find out what it's
