It's time it's finally time My simsie save is finally ready for you guys to download again. For some background If you didn't know I have this save file that I've made where I renovate every single lot in the sims 4. It started out As a way to like fix the base game and have like a basketball court in the base game worlds and use Restaurants because they don't have any in the game and it slowly evolved to me renovating literally everything I've been doing it since like 2017 I have many versions and of course I updated it for the new expansion pack It took me a couple weeks to get it all set and ready because there are so many lots But I am done. I am good to go and the save file is now ready for you guys to download there's a link to my tumblr down below if you want to go download it and I'll show you how to do that in a second but we're gonna go pop into my game and we're gonna take a look at the simsie save because I'm kind of proud of This one I want to show you quickly how to download this first because I know it can be kind of confusing When you get on it, you're gonna get this file It's a zip file called simsie save ten when you double-click it and open it up There's a txt file. I included instructions because people seem to get so confused So I just put like a text file explaining some things you shouldn't need that It's really i'd like complicated. I have it all on my tumblr, too, but that's there And there's this slot 401 dot save this is the actual save file now This is a save not a mod. Say it with me. You're not putting this in your mods folder. It's a save file So when you go to documents electronic arts the sims 4 You're gonna open up your saves folder and you're gonna post it into here now This is kind of risky It sound like dangerous to install or anything But I just don't want you to ruin your saves because you don't want to lose these so I'm gonna highly encourage you copy that And like paste it onto your desktop make a backup of your saves file. You really really don't want to lose your saves It's good to make a backup. Anyway, I don't see I already have one but it's good to make it backup You really don't want to lose that stuff and then you can click it You can drop the slot in there and boom you're good to go ready to open it and play in case you run into some issues if you already have a slot 0 0 0 401 you can just rename the file to like 402 or 403 or whatever to one that you don't have and then it'll be fine Just make sure you don't like accidentally replace a file in there or anything. You really don't want to lose your saves So let me just emphasize again. It is a save not a mod and backup your saves files. That's really important I really cannot emphasize that enough make backups It is devastating to lose a game playing for like hours and hours, you know So just save your game and make copies of it. But now we've installed this super easy to do It's much like how you download mods, except it's a safe. Not a mod. Can I say that one more time? It is a save not a mod. Ok, we're good. Let's game so we're in our game now All you gotta do is load a game. You're gonna see a picture of my face. That's me and my cat I've got a couple versions cuz I've you know been testing and stuff. You should see this It might be a little bit older It might be like a little bit further down for you But there will be a picture of me and my cat all you gotta do is load that up now cuz it's a save file You can't like merge your existing save So if you've got like some 7 generation legacy gameplay, you've been playing you can't like combine that with this They're both two separate save files But you can download all my lots off the gallery and I have made so many videos on the Simsie save in the past I've shown off a million of my lots. I've made so many townies like literally hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of sims I was there some EA Sims in here, too But I have made a sim family for every single lot in the game But today we're here to talk about evergreen Harbor which is the newest world They added to the sims 4 and what I did to this world and to be honest, I'm really proud of this I really like making the same as for it, too But I focused on a couple main things number one the actual default world It had three just blank community spaces and I want him to have like more lively ones So by default my Simsie save has a community garden a community marketplace and a makerspace You can see each them are in these spaces. This one's the garden. This one's the map marketplace and this one's the makerspace so once you start playing you already have those three things to use if you need them if you changed a lot like vote to Change it. It'll change back to the default one I didn't renovate like all three versions for each lot, but I do have all three different types if you want to use them What I mean by that is like when you're actually playing You can change and have your sims vote to make this say into a marketplace I didn't make a version of this lot as a marketplace So it'll have EA's marketplace, but it's got my community garden and I think that my community garden is quite cute I think someday i'll make a version of all three for each lot. I just haven't gotten to that yet It's it's been a lot of work and it's been a rough few weeks Okay, but this is my version of the community garden for here. It's got all the bases covered. For example, you know meat walls Various plans your Sims can vote here there's bees and there's bugs there's places to eat Do places to sell here this one really has like all the bases covered? I wanna show there's a lot of different like crops and stuff You could grow it even has a mini gym in it and it's got a bunch of maker items So this is kind of like your catch-all lot The quarry building has like all of the things I was really proud of this renovation I think that in my mind This is like the nicest of the community spaces and mostly cuz it's like the nicest neighborhood in the world This neighborhood has the green eco footprint. So it's like shiny literally shiny So it kind of makes sense stuff like the nicest building there, but of course renovated every single law including all the house I'm not gonna show you all of them because it would take forever to like go through them all but you may have cement build Videos on a few of them. I also did a lot of streams on this so you might have even seen them already I will show you some highlights though. And of course I made all new Sims for the whole world And these are them we have of course You know the defaults but I'll show you guys in my sims that I actually made I got to make a few households I was pretty excited about it. One of the classics is making a return These are the rustic Texans its Carrie and her husband Matt. Now. You may have heard me talking about these Sims They've kind of been a meme for a long time. Carrie is like the original Karen. She's the Karen of the Sims My description says that Carrie is the definition of a Pinterest soccer mom She's living vicariously through her children forcing her daughter to be involved in pageants and making her son join the football team Dallas hates it and just wants to follow in her father's scientific footsteps Austin can't see a thing about his glasses and is awful at sports All he wants to do his craft Matt is the most well-liked guy in town But his awful wife is constantly putting him down. Will these high school sweethearts last? So here's the story That's a doctor very well-respected people in town. Love this guy. He's just a real stand-up nice person his wife However, hairy she's cheating on him with the pool boy She spends beyond their means she's trying to live vicariously through her kids like her son hates sports, but she's like near a pool I needed to play sports and so she's just look, you know, and the joke is always that she was this huge crafter So I originally made her to live in stranger Ville and she was like into flower making and stuff But she's always like a crafty person. She had a craft room. That was always the vibe for Carrie And so when this pack came out I was like well, we have to move her to evergreen Harbor like this is her dream So Carrie a shed, that's her like craft dream. It's got all the things She could possibly need plus some laundry and stuff Obviously also there's a dog bed in here, but the dog in my mind hates her and never sleeps in there So don't worry fort woof is fine But she's the kind of person that would like buy a flower arrangement from Pottery Barn and then be like no no no it's thrifted it's vintage and like lie about it, but she keeps being like oh I thrifted this beautiful old rusted vase and I put these flowers in it and everyone's like no I saw that at Michael's like you you didn't that's not Thrifted you bought it from Michaels and everyone knows she's lying Like we all know this is not a vintage bookshelf with we know it's from West Towne like stop lying That's kind of her vibe You know, she really wants to be that person, but she's just a liar Of course each of their kids have their own rooms Their kids are named Austin and Dallas and their dog is fort woof all after cities in Texas where they're from but they've recently moved To Evergreen Harbor. So this is their new home. I really like these sims There are some my favorites of all time that I've made and so I was very excited to bring him back in this world But of course I made a bunch more also this here is Drake Mallory He lives in a shipping container that he converted into a home all by himself with his best friend The best friend is the dog He adopted Cosmo as a child and they grew up together Drake dreams of one day turning port promise around and making it into a beautiful green neighborhood I wanted to have some more single Sims because I feel like one of the biggest issues when you start playing a save is like Not having enough single Sims to possibly date and this one's got a dog. So, this is Drake He's a dog lover recycle disciple and a bookworm and this is his dog Cosmo who I think is adorable Like I want to hug this dog in real life so bad but he lives here in this starter home in port promise and like I said in my mind he like Transformed and converted this shipping Tanner into a house all by himself He's pretty talented like he's got a pretty high fabrication skill and stuff He's also in the steel designer career, which kind of makes sense and lines up in my head He doesn't really have any like crafty type items here, but that's because he doesn't have much money So I figure he has to go over to the community law and use the things there which makes sense Also get him and his dog live here Of course the dog can't get upstairs, which is kind of sad, but it's okay cause Noah can sleep on the couch I like these sims obviously I made the Sims like why wouldn't I like them and because there are four apartments. I got to make so many families So one of the other ones I may is the postgraduate and essentially their story is these two were randomly assigned as roommates in college Lives together in bright Chester all four years for university graduated moved here to Evergreen Harbor and then Mara Who's this sim went back to school? So she's getting a second degree And Bianca is working as like a really professional fancy chef in the city, which is kind of cool I had a lot of fun dressing these Sims to I don't often make many Sims So getting a chance to make a bunch of them was a really pleasant experience for me I spent like all day yesterday doing this. I'm not kidding. Like I started making Sims at like 10:00 a.m And I literally did not finish until like I went to bed I did take some breaks and I was like watching TV during it but still I made so many Sims yesterday. This one's Bianca She's unflirty she's a foodie and she's good So she's the chef and then her roommate Maura is a writer who has a history degree already and is going back for a literature degree. So she's pretty smart And of course, they're recent graduates. They have kind of a small apartment. Their next-door neighbor's assistant Akka and ken it's a single mom and her teenage son They've lived in a small apartment for a long time and I kind of a story behind them is that she's really put her family And him first for a really long time and now he's graduating high school and so he's gonna move out soon and I kind of like the idea of her like you know having this freedom and like a little bit extra money to maybe take care of herself finally cuz she's this wonderful mother who Put him first for so long. Sorry. I'm I'm getting emotional I really liked these Sims But I also in this empty save get to like set up relationships between other sims and so I have this little like storyline Oh look at her. She's also a civil designer So she's got a hard hat on but I had this little story that Ken and his friend Andy from school They sit next to each other in chemistry class and he's got a little bit of a crush on him But like they're both too scared to talk about it because they're teenagers and they're like little babies I still feel that to be honest. I really like the apartments in this game I had so much fun designing these like smaller apartments. You know, it's just perfect size, isn't it? The Ken wants to be an artist And of course his mom is in this little designer career But she wants to be a renaissance in she wants to be good at everything And she kind of is all my sims have skills and like friendships and stuff, too Obviously I get a little bit too attached to my sims I don't know if you noticed but I've made quite a few and they are all my friends I had fun making these too. This is the banks family Francesca is a classically trained artist and very passionate about her work Unfortunately, her husband does not share this same passion for anything. He might be using her for money But at least he's a good dad to their daughter Kalin. So my sim Francesca has an art degree from University She studied Fine Arts in college She works as an artist now makes a ton of money to be honest and her husband's a freegan He kind of just like hangs out plays video games, you know, he's a really nice guy But like he doesn't have that same drive for his career that she does. I've got a real nice apartment though I showed my boyfriend my Sims that I was making yesterday and he said that Kaelyn looks like a brat which I was kind of Upset by but I don't know they've got a fair amount of money They live in a small apartment still but like is a nice apartment. So maybe she is a brat I don't know but I thought I was kind of rude. What did she ever do to you? Obviously Gary is unemployed She's done a bad thing. I mean stay-at-home dads are great I think he doesn't really pull his weight around the house either outgoing freegan childish, you know a bit of a free rider But that's okay outgoing freegan childish I like the idea of him getting really excited about dumpster diving though because it's kind of how I feel the last household I made is this Marathi household. I really liked their story. It made me emotional the idea Is that these two dated long distance for a long time through college went to different schools, you know But dated for a long time, they're both adults So they're a little bit older which isn't not that adults are old but like that's kind of in my mind They've been working for a long time put their careers first for a while now They decided to start a family did IVF and now Selma is pregnant and so their apartment They've got this like little nursery all set up which I had a lot of fun decorating look at the duck. I made it So it could be suitable for a toddler and a baby because I figured the baby would grow up pretty fast But she is pregnant right now freshly pregnant first trimester. It's a girl I really liked their apartment not to be dramatic, but I Enjoyed this. I think the nursery is really cute, too. Anyway, Selma has a psychology degree She's a teacher also a genius ambitious vegetarian and her wife's a freelance crafter So she does a lot of like candle making and stuff in my story The idea was that Jo dropped out of school to like pursue these crafting dreams She had and like started her own business kind of young and they're both just wildly successful I think that sounds like a professor, you know, like they're both really smart really talented women. We love a strong female protagonist Also, I just realized I made another lesbian couple and there's already two lesbian couples in this world I mean strong female protagonists. Am I right? I renovated all the existing lots in the world to like the other townies houses. I made a new lot back here This was a starter home, but I turned into a basketball court called the canal corner court because the lot was called canal corner I thought that made a lot of sense this lot Seems so perfect to me like the way that's just the location of it - is this a park lot so it's got two basketball Hoops, it's got like a place for your Simpson Foton community space projects. It's got a little chess table It's got a little soccer ball couple places to sit. It has a dumpster I mean all your bases are covered here and I feel like a Basketball court is so common for a lot of communities like parks have these kind of things everywhere The one near me actually Removed the hoops recently because of the pandemic people couldn't go there during the pandemic these hoops are still here luckily I just like it fits into the neighborhood so well like I really enjoyed this it like blends in so naturally plus this area of the world once you like start updating it to make The modern developments and stuff. They put like these cool sunflower things in the street like the street turns all sunflower mosaic and so the yellow kind of matches, so I really liked that idea how it is gonna like eventually blend in really well it's nice to have more community lots to go to I think just for all of your Sims like anywhere that we live have your Sims come play basketball with their friends. Obviously. You can't actually have like a full-on basketball game But they can't use the hoops and they can play with the soccer ball. So I think it worked out pretty well This is spruce woods square one of the other community spaces. I made it into a market place So your Sims can come here and like sell their crafted goods It also has a few places to make crafted goods in here like you could come and make some candles make some juice There's a place to stay in a place to eat There's a laptop you can use if you need to in my head like maybe a sim is working there and like left a laptop On the table for a second, but you could also just come here and use it if you need it There's even a little kids space With some toys and things for your kids to play with which I think is really useful because there isn't often Much for kids to do in the Sims But like you can bring your sims here and like hang out the community space makes a lot of sense to me Of course, there's a spot to eat. I put a bunch of different city living food trucks over here - there's the cupcake one there's the like hot dog burger stand and this is one that sells puffer fish nigiri so you can have your sims come here and Buy some to kill people if you want So all the bases are covered but more importantly we have like the actual tables is where your Sims can sell things So what you do is you have your sims come here and they can like click and drag I don't know candles They've made onto the table and then start a yard sale and people are gonna come and buy it. It works out really well I made a decent amount of money when I was playtesting which is kind of cool But I also put these from city living cuz your Sims can sell their paintings here, which makes sense to me So we've got that option - you can actually paint if you want and it's like a little rooftop garden Which I really liked. I thought that was kind of fun. Of course There's a meat wall - because you never know what you need right meet wall plants They're all blackberry bushes that are grown, but there's also some strawberries and stuff. I don't know again All the bases are covered and the fairy lights make it look pretty cool at nighttime I I like this area wouldn't it be so fun to come here and like shop? I'm picturing in real life. It kind of being like a farmers market or something I would love this like what a pleasant experience just the vibes You know with the fairy lights great stuff great stuff yet again lil simsie is trying to live vicariously Through her sims the last slide. I want to show you is this one? It's the waterfront community space I actually posted build this like a couple days ago. So you might have seen it This is the one I was most proud of originally It's like an older looking factory kind of thing and I transformed it into a big makerspace So it's got a ton of skill building objects You might need things for actual crafting like we're working tables and painting easels and stuff. But also an observatory there's a million dumpsters There's two over here and three more over here. If you want to like dig around for recycled bits and stuff There's two food trucks. There's like a thing for kids to play with there's all kinds of fabrication stations I think one of the things I've noticed most of my actual gameplay is that when you go to these Lots The Sims is made Like the default version of this obviously, it's not a real community space. It's just an empty literal dumpster lot like it has the Landfill lot rate so it's kind of stinky, but when you come here, there's only one dumpster and only one recycling machine And so the other sims hog them like if you get here too late or you don't click do it again fast enough someone else Tina tinker is gonna come and take your place and then dig through your Dumpster and we cannot have that. So I made sure to have plenty of dumpsters and plenty recycling machines and plenty of fabricators So there's just a million options for you like inside. There's four candle-making stations. There's a million woodworking tables there's two of the juice fizzing ones even a cupcake machine because when else can you have one of these like Where are you gonna put that anywhere else? You can't have a cupcake maker in your own house, but I figured like next to the juice making stations It kind of all worked. So we got one of those in there There's a little kitchen island if you need it to like make food for your Sims We got showers and toilets because you know dumpster diving is stinky and you need to shower sometimes there's like some tables for studying which I really enjoy because I feel like this is a community space your Sims can come here and Use the computers and study the tables and hang out. There's even another kid's room here for your kids to play I like this area a lot with like these giant metal art pieces on the wall with the fabrication machines I don't I really enjoyed this bill. I think the outside as it looks pretty cool I don't often feel like I'm very good at building like more modern looking builds But this one I'm pretty proud of is even a mural from city living if you wanted to paint on it So I had a lot of fun trying to combine things from other packs and stuff into this lot I think the community space is a very good edition to the sims 4 because you need these things because this stuff like all these Giant machines you just can't have on your own home lot that often like this doesn't look good You don't often have space for like a giant juice fizzer and cupcake machine and Observatory in your backyard but at least you can come here and actually make sense like this thing kind of fits like I I'm not surprised that this giant Thing is here granted. There are a lot of weird giant things here, but I think it turned out All right Of course all of these Sims and all of these lots around my gallery wanna tell them my name is just a little Simsie on the gallery I know many you're playing in like an older version of The Simsie save so you can just download these lots in place on Yourself so you don't need to get the whole say file again I'll leave you to explore some more phone and do it yourself, but keep in mind I have a million more videos But this you want to see my other worlds and I have made so many Sims like I have a strong Attachment to a lot of my households. They bring me a lot of joy, and I've been working on this since high school So this is like my child. I have a few more things I want to change still so I'm gonna post an update version of this like in probably a week because I moved carry from stranger Ville obviously so her house is empty and I didn't make a new sim for that yet And I never renovated this lot because I could not bring myself to it made me want to cry So I'm gonna fix that this week and post it a little bit later It'll be on my tumblr for an update But I figured I want to get the video and like the main eco lifestyle stuff out as soon as possible Also in the beginning I didn't used to renovate every single lot originally was just supposed to be community lots I didn't want to touch the Townies houses. But as we've kind of come further in the sims for a lot of them are Really bad. So I think I'm gonna slowly go back and start fixing a lot of the older houses So stay tuned for more updates to this. It's just a lot of work You know, there's a lot of there's a lot of houses. I must give you one final word of warning We're gonna talk quickly again about how to download this save file because it is a save file not a mod This is in fact a save file. Not a mod And I've seen then you guys are gonna want to use it like more than once you're playing in it like for me I use It as like a starting point for all of my saves. So I never press a new game. I always press load game I always go to my simsie save and then I load it and I make a copy of it So I go to this little options at the top right corner. I press save as and then I make a new version I'll call it like test or like you could call it I don't know legacy challenge or you know, whatever you're doing And then you save again that makes a copy so you can keep each time you play now You want to the baby challenge you can go back make a copy of the base save and then you can keep playing in this Version and all the lots are gonna be there all the Townies will be there and you don't need to play in the boring old Base game ever again. If you're missing packs, they're gonna have a lot of naked Sims. I'm sorry the whole point of this originally was kind of to like combine all of the packs on purpose to like give that lively We have all the packs feeling and sort of make it seem like city living is in its own standalone thing and kind of bring The basketball court and kind of make it seem like samus You know doesn't stand alone and bring that basketball court and evergreen Harbor and so kind of combine different features from different packs altogether But of course that does make it a little bit inaccessible to players that don't have all the packs It'll still run without the mall You just might have some naked Sims running around and of course if you're like missing the city living you won't have Sam ice you Know or whatever, you know, but you don't need all the pack also most of the earlier packs are the ones that are most used and I didn't use a lot of the like weird stuff packs like You're not missing much from spooky stuff, you know or god forbid luxury party. I Shouldn't give you nightmares. I'm sorry for mentioning it there you have it The Sims II safe Sorry, it took so long my brains been going through it recently.
