one home cook plated raw fish someone do like sashimi or something [Music] Howard bring that dish up even so bad without tasting it you know immediately it's raw they won't even separate [Music] I'm just amazed [Music] this kind of is what pisses us off and these kind of dishes are what sent you home so here we go the ingredients to make the black cod with shiitake mushrooms I'm not sure if black cod is a specific type of cod but this is all I could find that mean it wasn't cheapest option so that's what we're using I've also never made anything with shiitake mushrooms before so this should be at least interesting obviously we don't have a recipe we've only got these photos so we're gonna try to recreate these just by simply looking at the picture I couldn't really find some shiitake mushrooms fresh I'm not sure if that's easy or difficult to find instead we're gonna be using some dried shiitake mushrooms so basically you have to soak them in water for about 30 minutes so I'm gonna sort that in first place the water is pretty warm so we're just gonna have the mushrooms in I've never done any of these things before I love cooking but I'm really bad at it if you're new to my channel so this video is basically gonna be out to make something bad even worse I think the one they use on MasterChef I'd scan on so I'm glad this one has a known as well so now we need some olive oils I'm gonna cook this at a very high heat because I want to make sure this is no raw like the one on MasterChef so I feel like this is probably good it's making sounds and that makes me happy because I hope it's not gonna be raw in the center okay a little bit of pepper do you put pepper in the fish I don't want to Google anything because I feel like the challenge is to try to make this bad dishes not so bad it's not really been that long but it smells like burnt so I feel like we should flip it I feel like you could still cook a little bit longer on this side let's put the black in black cod all better now I mean it is black that's for sure I hope it looks black on camera as well apart from the fact that it's sitting on a paper plate I'm gonna say that our card looks pretty good so I'm gonna set it aside for now and we're gonna make the rice I'm hoping in the mushrooms are well soaked by now it's been around 30 minutes I think for the rice guys I know it's not ideal we're using Uncle Ben's because it's pre-made but obviously this is our brunch this is the first meal of the day we're making two other meals for master chef so I don't want to waste too much time on the first one I didn't really know where vegetables were mixed with the rice on the picture so I'm guessing that it's like spring onion because it didn't look like regular onion so I'm not really sure should we just cut the mushrooms I don't know what to do these are not very easy to chop people would say they get nervous when I use a knife and honestly I get the most nervous out of all buds that I'm just gonna add this into our pan so I'm cooking the vegetables with butter instead this time around I don't really know what I'm doing to be honest with you I'm kind of just hungry at this point we're gonna have the spices a little bit of pepper and a little bit of salt [Applause] so we're gonna mix this up so for the rice to finish cooking I thought we should add a little bit of water not too much because I mean it is precooked so it's not completely wrong and for some extra flavor we're gonna be using some of these vegan vegetable stock also hopefully gonna make this a little more yellow even though I'm pretty happy with the color we're gonna let this cook for like 10 to 15 minutes or until the water is all gone and until I feel like he looks decent even though they didn't like the dish I'm looking at the photo right now and it looks so good and one add a whole lot because I think that's key to make food look fancy is just eat little this rice smells incredible so here we've got the con so we're gonna place it right on top I mean it doesn't work but I would actually say it looks pretty fancy and this is the photo of the black cod with shiitake mushrooms that the MasterChef judges literally roasted through hell and back and here we've got my card wedge shiitake mushrooms and rice I'm still not sure if it's rice or what vegetables are on the photo but we can only guess it's definitely a weird choice for breakfast slash lunch but I wanted to save the sweet one for in-between the dice so we're gonna give this one a try I'm excited to give this a try I'm kind of scared of the mushrooms aren't soaked in enough because I don't think if we left them long enough it smells so good though it smells like Japanese food I really like it I would have tried the fish now I hope it's not raw it's cooked in the center I am practically better than a MasterChef cook now I'm just joking mmm this is the best meal I've had all weekend and they had like three deliveries this weekend it kind of makes sense that I do love this one because the reason why the master chef judges didn't like it was because it was raw it wasn't because it didn't taste good because do they even try it I can't remember I don't think so because it was raw fish if you are the contestant to got kicked out of the show for a cooking raw fish if it makes you feel better I tried your recipe I mean not really by kind of and I really liked it breakfast slash lunch is the thumbs up and next time we see you guys it will be afternoon snack actually it's gonna be now already represent my dish and I'm really proud I'd like the presentation I think the judges are gonna find it genius what in the hell is that it's about 15 crepes 15 crepes okay in between the 15 crates what is it it's a mixture of cream cheese mascarpone some espresso a little cream some sugar [Music] you have to do this with me you have to taste that it's like I've just gone to the doctors for a skin graft on my butt yeah texture keeping it real I used to make crepes a lot so I feel like I might not be too bad at this I mean it's probably still gonna fail but I think I've got the right ingredients at least so this is ingredients to make the crepes and this is the ingredients to make the cream on the inside so for the sauce we're gonna start with some mascarpone mmm that was a satisfying scoop that's a really interesting consistency for a cheese I mean we don't really have recipe so should we do 50% mascarpone 50% cream cheese a lot more liquid the other ingredient that he said he used was some sugar and he didn't specify which type of sugar but I've just got a feeling that it should be icing sugar I don't want to start any more beef with Gordon Ramsay but it does sound delicious in theory I feel like they have to go really hard to be contestants on these shows because that's entertainment that's also why my videos have to suck sometimes that's just a sad excuse and we both know it okay I gotta give it to Gordon Ramsay the consistency of this is already becoming really weird so I can't imagine what this is gonna be like in the middle of 15 crepes I'm gonna taste it just to see if there's anything I can do to save this mm-hmm we need to give this some flavor even though I think it already tastes pretty good so we're gonna be making some espresso coffee and then adding just a little bit to give it some flavor the coffee machine is a little dusty because this is only used when I parents are here because I don't drink coffee so you know it's a little [Music] I'm not that Britisher that's not coffee when you literally can't even make coffee right but if that isn't like me AF let's give this a try with an espresso one and hopefully that's more like it okay that's enough so we're gonna add a little bit of the coffee I'm gonna taste it just for science that's so good I would actually eat there's like soup I'm gonna put this in the fridge for now and we're gonna go and make the crepes I think traditionally crepes don't have any sugar in them because you're supposed to eat they eat them save right or sweet just a tiny little bit of sugar I'm gonna do the flour now so we're gonna add the milk just gradually I guess this is kinda stupid but honestly there's no allowed to see the recipe on MasterChef and I feel like you would be the only fair way to make this challenge consistency wise is pretty sweet so I'm gonna say the last step is to add a little bit of melted butter this one is not really melted is it let's go for it how do we know if it's ready I don't have a spatula or anything to flip this so you can't really see on camera but it's thin and light honestly this is like the perfect crepe I'm so excited I have made crepes so many times in my life there's no way I was gonna be that bad at this three hours later so I don't give myself credit on this channel ever unless things are good and look how freaking amazing this crepes are every single one of them honestly look so good we're gonna start with a little bit of sauce in the bottom to make sure it doesn't move too much and there goes our first crepe it's not getting that tall it's really weird because I'm using so much of everything maybe it's just me but I do think this looks good but I don't have that much sauce left so this is all we've got to work with I clearly didn't follow measurements we didn't really have how much sauce so I don't really know how to do this one not here I'm gonna say that I think this is actually going to taste amazing and I think they were really harsh on the guy because the sauce at least tastes incredible Wow and syrup among the nuts as well so here we go master chefs toward do crepe that the judge is absolutely hated the consistency of it I think mine actually looks pretty good it looks completely different because I didn't have enough sauce to cover the sides before I try it I just want to slice it on camera because I think this will be very satisfying that actually looks really good that is one of the most beautiful satisfying things I have ever seen and here we've got the torta to crave something like that I'm gonna try to pronounce it it's basically a crepe cake I know for a fact that this one is gonna be delicious because the sauce for it I tried it already and he was so good this is so good oh my god the flavor of coffee is actually very pleasant it's very subtle because I don't even like coffee normally so I love this this is one of the best desserts I've ever made I think the consistency of it is not weird I definitely don't agree with the judges maybe I made it different than maybe mine has a different consistency but this does not taste weird this tastes delicious this video is turning into me comforting the people who attended MasterChef and the judges didn't like their food because if you are the person who made this I actually the recipe is incredible and I think it is good I generally think it's delicious it's an artisan with a basil just let me a says when I go to the pizza restaurant that I like right well first of all I feel like I'm and some many pieces come out with a tomato basil oregano sauce prosciutto making the pasta so I made a dough it's just not good you know if there's not master chef enjoy a mini pizza and here we go all the ingredients to make dinner actually I just realized I forgot mushrooms but apart from that all the ingredients nothing screams artisan pizza like four pre-made miniature pizza bases I just couldn't be bothered and I am so sorry we're even gonna drizzle the pizza it's an English truffle oil so you know that this is not gonna be a regular pizza this is gonna be bougie it doesn't look like the cheesiest beets in the world so I think they only use Parmesan cheese and I think they only added the Parmesan cheese after it's been cooked but I could be wrong for the sauce we're gonna start with some double concentrate on tomato puree it would be great if you focus camera thank you so we're gonna start with the tomato I'm not sure if you guys noticed but the contestant actually place some tomato sauce under the pizza which is such a weird thing to do but I guess we're gonna do it as well do this we're gonna add some oregano a little bit of salt we're also gonna add a little bit of garlic powder and buy a little and a lot should we add a little bit of truffle oil I remember Gordon Ramsay one time had a meltdown because someone had a list of food that was so much so mix it all up I'm actually gonna add a little bit more oregano because it smells a lot like truffle oil I don't know what I was thinking I wasn't we're gonna start by spreading the sauce on the pizza bases I'm not gonna try too hard to make this look good because first of all it's pizza second of all I think the contestant was going for like a very rustic pizza looks so that's exactly what we're doing and it's definitely not an excuse I did promise you they were gonna be booj in here so we're using his solid block of cheese I don't really have a cheese grater if you watch my previous video you know where this is coming from so I'm gonna use that for the cheese no I'm entirely sure to use this okay that seems to work I'm gonna try to use the same toppings I use so we're using some Parma ham as our first one and some harder chokes and I think the only one that you get is mushrooms because honestly I just don't know I want to make this look so expensive so now we're gonna use some Jamie all of our artichokes I'm not entirely sure if the reason why they hated so much is because artichoke and the Parma ham is a weird combination or if it's just because it's not fancy enough but either way I'm trying to make mine look fancier okay this looks a little ugly but it's fine wanna see cooks it's all been with the same we're gonna bake these for about 15 minutes and I'm not really sure maybe the judges are right this is kind of like a lame food to make on MasterChef but I think they might actually taste delicious so I'm gonna try to play this the same way they did a MasterChef which was really weird cuz it was some pizza sauce below the pizza I really am and what that is all about so I'm gonna grab this one because I think it looks a little prettier and we're just gonna place it right in the center so here we've got master chefs our design pizza and here we've got my very own I mean actually it looks pretty similar weirdly I'm probably gonna love it but the weird thing is the sauce below the pizza I think that's pretty strange but and last but all these guys here we've got dinner which is our artisan pizza out of everything we've tried in this video this is fully the wand I'd be the most inclined to agree with the judges just because I do watch MasterChef and I know that the standards and the quality is a little different than the miniature pizza I mean the pizza was still better than anything I could ever accomplish in cooking in my whole life bah I am pleasantly surprised I actually really like this and trust me I'm more of a pepperoni kind of person but I actually like the artichoke he tastes I think artichoke kind of tastes like mushroom is that weird it's like a fancy mushroom I think the only thing that make this a million times better is if it actually had like melted cheese like cheddar or like this american-style processed cheese but that's the trashing me speaking because I actually really like this I like the ham I was pretty sure that I went a little crazy with the truffle oil and the whole thing was gonna taste so strong of truffle but actually it does and it tastes a little bit of it but personally I like it I mean if you hate truffle you'd probably hate this and that was it for this
