greetings you hydrophobic individuals and welcome back to from the depths with me lathrix and of course welcome to the land adventure mode where today we're going to see just how well we can build versus much smaller opponents much less resource and far far less water in the land Adventure Mode it is pretty much just an endless desert of slopes and hills with the odd puddle here and there and honestly I don't know how well I'm going to do with this I am notoriously bad at building small graft and this really forces you to do just that the resource zones are just as scarce as usual and with the enemies being so much smaller you get very little resource per battle but hopefully this means we can use weapons we don't normally use especially in the early game I really want to use some of the simple weapons these are all of the pre-built weapons and some of them can be really good the main weapon I really want to use straight away is this thing as soon as I get the resources to do so there we are so this can actually fire Advanced Cannon shells because it is essentially a tiny little Advanced Canon turret it has loads of health and loads of armor because it is a single item rather than multiple items which normally make up a single weapon and I think in the early game this is going to dominate and I actually want to have multiple of them before we move over to our normal weapons and then I'm thinking non-rail gun Advanced cannons or cram cannons we'll see as the mood takes us much bigger weapons lighter but as usual with the adventure modes for a while I just need to sit here gather resource and figure out how I'm going to do our movement the one rule I'm giving myself is that I'm not allowed to be a flyer I can be a sled if I want to I can be a tank I can be a Jeep it doesn't matter I can be a walker even I just can't fly because that takes away all of the fun of this mode so I'll be back soon once I made a little bit of progress on what is currently a very 2D car well it's nothing too interesting but this is our starter vehicle now the resource Zone was about a hundred off and honestly I was getting bored just sitting there I want to make sure the wheels work okay we're still going with the tank controls for now I just found them way easier to control oh an enemy straight away and we have one basic weapon we have armor everywhere that's vital so no strike shot should instantly detonate our engines for instance which are currently just batteries even more so than in the adventure mode the water adventure mode we really need to go fuel engines or steam or something else because very small craft we need it to be Compact and that's something that the rtgs and everything else don't really do all that well for now though we can go at actually a pretty decent pace considering our engine is awful and we only have the four wheels we're okay for Speed okay so first enemy is a bike no it's not what are you nukes our first enemy is nukes oh just took one hit okay oh there's another enemy firing somewhere oh look I didn't even notice that but uh where are you what are you oh okay so the bike is in the air sure the first enemy actually attacked us was a nuke and the second enemy is a bike in the air sure difficulty five is normal I'm not gonna be able to hit that thing with this weapon um you know what you just stay up there mate I don't want to go to difficulty five straight away because I do want to see what kind of variety we have so I'll wait until at least one more enemy arrives otherwise I'll just ring the adventure Bell National play in this time oh that was not a good hit okay that was better oh I'm definitely changing these shells though they are weak we've knocked off its tail a little bit now I've completely knocked off his tail though and oh nose diving into the ground still though not pleased with those shells at all those were the default shells I didn't change them at all and yeah I think I was gonna go to a pure high explosive and maybe add more Warheads at the cost of gunpowder I don't even know I've got our resource back for that maybe one more fight then we go to the next difficulty I just want to see the variety so far I've seen three different crafts so pretty good start normally I don't really bother with lights in this mode but since we're on land and I can actually get damaged rather than the ocean which is water let's add a couple of very basic lights shall we okay not these ones spotlights won't work moving lights will be a bit near light fittings will these work better oh actually up for the look of them anyway I mean it'll be enough that's the thing as long as I can see directly in front of me that's all that really matters one more enemy then we go through the red portal and then I can unveil my secret ability by basically just adding a turret to this turret so we can turret that sorry or we turret uh another one of the nukes spawned in and it's going for the flying bike okay I'll take that as a sign let's move on then to difficulty five hopefully you'll find more blue portals laser but for now I don't have the resources for it hi everyone future laprix here as is tradition with these four playthroughs just here to say a few quick things before we get back into the video itself so first of all throughout this video I do talk about detection systems quite a lot since I do finally add AI to our craft and it turns out that wasn't necessary because the default setting for the automatic detection was set to a hundred percent basically meaning every craft can see every other craft perfectly so a bit of wasted time there but overall things I do need to learn for the future anyway on top of that this is definitely one of the less polished modes in comparison to the water adventure but it was super fun to record I absolutely love ground vehicles and have loads of plans for different types of designs in the future that all being said I really do hope you enjoy the video it was a absolute blast to record over the last week and as always likes and comments help out so much since these videos can be absolute poison to the algorithm but with enough interaction they suddenly become worth it and I can spend loads more time making videos like this which is what I really want to be doing on YouTube so thank you that was a bit waffley now back to the past where we make some interesting looking vehicles well we're looking a little bit doofy but you know what I do kind of like this so yep super fast turret it's the three meter long turret and then we just have these two on it right now with a tiny bit of armor underneath but we obviously need to add weimarama and both of these are upside down so this one's up is actually that direction this one's up in that direction that way they can point between each other like that and because the turret is taking charge of most of the aiming that's not gonna be a problem for left or right and we can fire directly upwards I really love this and if I ever do a simple weapons only run you can imagine little turrets like this all over the craft so there's hundreds of these shots or eventually it's a bigger brother the 3400 version which does in fact have two turrets sorry two barrels but for now let's just make sure this thing's armored up and wait for the first enemy of difficulty five well they'll do for now oh there is an enemy in fact I think I went right past it what is it it is so far away again one of the Copperheads okay these are a little bit broken it seems I will say that the land Adventure Mode is kind of known for being a bit less polished than the water version because well it's from the depths you know this isn't the main game and this is very early designs that normally spawning during a fight a lot of um things come with the um copperheads so I'm not gonna hold that against them hopefully we'll see something else soon I'm also trying to find a red portal so as soon as you get a few fights in we can then go straight away oh there's a puddle over there there's also a resource so I'm thinking resource Zone then back to hunting for a red portal isn't that right Larry everyone say hello to Larry I should also mention at this point of course I have been reading the comments in the previous videos and I've decided to keep the in-game music it seems like overwhelmingly that's what people wanted to see now if I do add music in the future I think after also reading comments I will just add the soundtrack over everything else to make it a bit less disjointed but for now I'm more than happy to just let the game play out as it is to be fair it does have a really good soundtrack also for the question this episode I'd like to know how far do you think I'm gonna get remember difficulty 100 is the goal and I'm not exactly good at small designs how far do I get in this first attempt also I'm starting to really like [Music] the black line of death and this time we get to fight a copperhead properly so is firing missiles at us is also firing what looks like anti-air shells so nothing too major the problem is it's very quick and hard to hit so I need to get nice and close for these quite slow shells to really connect [Music] and that's it though just one good hit and is down okay difficulty five will we find anything new I'll wait for one maybe two more enemies that's better straight down this time okay I guess I'll be going over to difficulty 10 then I'll just attack this resource Zone and then go through the portal which I think is close by have I gone to the wrong resource nope there it is half buried in the sand okay something new I think it shot like a purple shot Alice two damage yep that's great oh look at that so it's an advanced Cannon this is the sand Viper what a cool design love that like half boat oh look at them loading the shells oh that's super cute I was hoping the Sand Dune would protect us but apparently didn't ask can I get into a better position I'd like to harvest until he gets to me honestly or am I gonna have to chase after him it's so bouncy in the land mode it's much easier just being third person all the time which is a bit of a shame but I'm sure like the designs will be a lot more stable when they're bigger how did that miss the one shot went through the wheel okay that was better don't think it took out his weapon but definitely gonna be close yeah I think our overall damage is a fair bit higher than theirs just their shells are probably a bit more specialized and could potentially go inside of our craft and cause problems oh yeah we are losing quite a bit per hit but they are as well there we go okay nice fight let's get to that red bottle and do a quick drift [Music] it's so springy maybe that's the problem maybe I have the suspension of it to uh springy oh you know what that's exactly what it was it's still bumpy but not anywhere near as bad as it was even on this particularly bumpy bit of ground [Music] there are so many ways you can customize the wheels foreign get away from me whoa speed boost oh my God you can tell the exact moments My Heart left out of my chest okay so I've added two extra of these to the turret because why not they're not on yet because I was heading towards the red resource zone I'm just gonna go with the ones I had before so just pure high explosive for now there we go everything is fine that was way too close though okay so I should be all forward from shooting lovely that's a big old gun so I think is in difficulty 10 where we are now of course what we're going to do is armor up the sides here a bit more then remove the wheels and add tracks a fair bit out that way we have enough space that we can start adding proper weapons and difficulty 15 or 20. until then our little Larry gun is gonna still be our main weapon also am I standing up and not currently on the chair where do I stand up I need to be in the chairs also add some stabilization which I think I might need to remove a little bit to make it actually a bit smoother and less Snappy okay let's see what enemies are here in difficulty 10. I never use synchronization but I think it's gonna be quite fun that is pretty fun essentially one fires after the other after the other staggering the shots a bit is that another Copperhead okay never mind we're going to try to difficulty 15 then oh that was a beautiful first shot there [Music] and goodbye mostly to the wheels why did that first shot I am so high don't know why I ran the target but apparently I did since building with the wheels is so annoying on the ground I've built a few little stilts so we're gonna try and make our first set of tracks here ignore all the Jets over this craft it kind of flipped when I first tried to do this so yeah wasn't the best start hopefully don't get attacked while I'm doing this so what I'm thinking is at the moment leave the core pretty much out as it is because I'm pretty happy with it in terms of Defense then we remove these wheels expand this a little bit maybe outside here and this is where we're going to add the tracks this is going to be the top wheels and the bottom Wheels along here it'll look a bit silly to begin with honestly very squished but it should make us a lot more stable in addition to giving us loads of extra armor on the sides and loads of redundancy in terms of the wheels at the moment the wheels are the weak spot thankfully you've only been fighting very light enemies at the moment but that could change in a moment in this kind of mode Larry agrees oh it's the width okay I've been looking at that for way too long um sure then that's fine I just wanted to cover everything do the same with the other track as you can see I've just been building at the moment things have been pretty nice and no one's actually fighting us which is pretty awesome like I say this is gonna look really goofy for a while and I'll probably copy these tracks and move them further out later once we have more body to actually playing with uh that should be okay for me to actually land with now right okay lovely we don't have one in the middle yet I just realized whoops I've missed one of the wheels I was gonna add well let's ignore that it's not actually technically in the track right now but that's fine I just want to make sure this works then I'll move on to armoring this up and trying to make it look a little bit more natural and rather than a weird skeleton tank like I've built currently then I have all this extra space underneath here as well to play with which is where the advanced Canon body is actually going to go and that's going to be our main weapon probably moving on to the next difficulty oh lovely controls better than the old version well it makes sense fantastic and I can mess with the springs and everything else lighter to make it a smoother ride ignoring the copperhead currently trying to kill us I'm actually pretty happy with how this thing has turned out so far it's much smoother now in terms of its movements it actually looks like it's going somewhere and there's plenty of space for us to work with obviously at the moment the top section is literally just the old vehicle kind of pasted on top that will be changed once I start adding the new weapon because all of this will become a giant turret cap essentially I'm tempted to have a spinal Mount weapon but probably I'll try and go just a basic turret that carpet is doing basically no damage to us so I'm just gonna sit here and get the resources I need to finish off armoring up this back section then I'll probably go into difficulty whatever the next difficulty is okay well that's the back section hurts at least oh that was beautiful will we be able to get a capture here is the question [Music] probably not it's difficult to get close enough to these vehicles honestly we could swap to EMP just for this little section now but it depends on how badly the image is actually damaged such a cool looking enemy as well [Music] had a pretty nasty Advanced Cannon but we managed to take it out so quickly you know what nah let's just make it go boom okay cram shells went past us [Music] oh I know you the Rattler wait do you have crown I thought you had just Advanced cannons am I getting mad I may have just miss all the shell to be completely honest that thing's still pretty small though so still probably won't be lingering here oh there are two enemies it could have been the other one easily we're about to go over this Ridge and then we'll find out exactly what's going on oh it's a nuke oh that's gonna detonate itself okay so the Rattler beat the nuke and now if we can beat the Rattler that's a lot of resources to us so we can start armoring up the inside of this thing and then start making ourselves a proper weapon rather than simple weapons I will miss these simple weapons why I absolutely love this turret it's so easy to use be useful all going in the same area there so I went straight through the target let's go for the weapon oh missiles oh mines oh do not get under the craft please if we stay at full speed I think we might just about avoid them okay it looks like I may have taken out it's bright nope it does have a crown Cannon okay not really doing too much damage to us only really the grand Cannon I'm particularly worried about not the best of shots there oh there's the missiles let's see if we can take out those let's go yes I think we took it out I did we are victorious we could potentially get a capture although I doubt it it's gonna be difficult for me to get out of this craft yeah I'm stuck oh no we're finally out nature of the Run apparently not yeah we need a new weapon it's it's fun but it's also kind of meh but you want to smooth out the top armor without completely removing it because it's not going to be as easy as just changing it over because we are constantly under attack and I think I've reached a decent compromise we look like an angry Jaffa Cake but you know what we're an angry jaffa cake with Weaponry so that's fine by me so this is a new enemy oh cram cannons lovely match take out a lot of the side armor there although please don't turn too much yes Kaboom I'm guessing that was an ammo storage just went up because cram cannons don't explode like that well that's it that's the enemy pretty much down I wonder what that even was very cool looking definitely a lot bigger than the ones we've been facing so far okay so deep water guard still yep no the dust wind the dust wind Empire whatever it's actually fully called since they're not called the exact same things over here the deep water guard is the dust wind and the Onyx watches I actually don't remember I know that the steel Striders is the steel Empire okay I'm gonna go back to the resource Zone at least now I know there's a red portal nearby so I'm going to grab that soon we are in difficulty 20 so I would like to have a proper weapon now although this has been good okay basic Advanced Cannon now fitted to the center of this craft honestly I quite like how it looks it's basic but nice in my opinion and this is firing 250 millimeter rounds they're two meters in length high explosive at 40 rounds per minute basically these are nothing to write home about they're not going to destroy crafted a single shot they're not going to be absolutely lethal to everything but they're gonna be horribly consistent and horribly accurate and that's all we need now I need to build the turret cap re-armor up a lot of the sections because currently a lot of it isn't armored now then secondary weapons have to be a concern I'm thinking anti-air missiles anti-missile missiles or just a cruise missile would always be welcome or we could just increase the size of the tank overall I think next time we have an upgrade we're really gonna need a blue portal because this is going to be a major overhaul we have got to boxed ourselves in it's a nice box though the old Jaffa tank Larry's back we have our turret cap and I've even added a basic AI this is literally just a really simple detection system and fire at closest Target I'm gonna go and sit by the red portal and wait for the first enemy to arrive this will be the last enemy effect of difficulty 20 then we move on looks wise I'm actually really happy with this thing considering we never have that much time in the adventure mode before we get attacked and I had to kind of Rush a lot of this yeah it's a tank in it and it has a shooty bit what more could you possibly want other than a little Larry there for motivational support oh goodbye okay proving the shells worth it oh is there something else so you can just about see the AI is struggling to see whatever it actually is another one of those okay we'll increase our difficulty then stop wasting your ammo lad you've already proven you can do the exploding into difficulty 25. well not the scariest welcome to difficulty 25 that is a shrike we also do have the AI mantles on this tank so we can fire almost directly up come on give me something scary already I will say the early game in the land mode seems to be a lot easier than the early game in the water mode though I am more than willing to bet there's going to be a difficulty Spike and suddenly I'm gonna wish things were easier well there's something in the distance there okay it's called a direct hit against whatever it actually is let's stop oh we just walked into his line of fire it has EMP by the looks of things okay please target the base didn't quite set it up there but okay it's fine might want to grab manual control this thing also we have quite slow shells for extra payload and they're not quite doing that well at this long range the damage is okay I'm actually scoring the hits the problem going for the base if you take out the base ends up dropping the Torso the Torso gets dropped we win just keep moving it makes the missiles a lot oh that's a short range laser I did not think that was a laser I don't know what I thought it was but I didn't think it was that it is carved through a section that's what I wanted to see that bounce then means something just went up our shells aren't too powerful but there's certainly enough to do damage at this difficulty we've focused almost all of our resources on just stacked armor so I doubt it's going to get through those missiles all those lies are to be perfectly honest yep there we go the base is dead that means a second it'll drop at the Torso the Torso is now vulnerable to damage oh that shot just decimated the whole thing it had a weak spot on its back your high Fang you're high fangled your new age high tech super machine was nothing to do with my bad speaking help I think I just had a stroke your high-tech gizmos were nothing in comparison to our low-tech explosives something like that is what I was trying to say but I was paying attention to my phone which was just going off in the corner of my eyesight two enemies just over the hill turn off the AI I'm holding the weapon myself for now okay same enemy as before but now we know it's got a weak spot it's back it looks like it's fighting whatever that is over there oh it's instantly turned to face me come on that's it that's what I wanted to say yes that is the weak spot goodbye so much of your health in that last fight I actually lost more resource than I gained I don't know what it hit but it just eradicated something I'm thinking it quite literally hits our material stores okay you're gone and you well you can't really fight back right now oh you are healing though the thing is you don't have unlimited material so I could just Farm you for Resources by constantly going at your core yeah try and heal through this again although we're not extra extremely powerful we're not exactly weak either and our damage is consistent no rail guns or anything else this is just a basic Advanced Cannon it can just keep on firing at this rate forever as long as it's resources which we're getting from destroying the anime I guess I could go just for the base now the AI was like close to there I think it's somewhere in the middle anyway just keep that thing from being able to Fire and just weather it again yes leave your child it was only dragging you back think about all the career opportunities you could have had instead and there it goes again God that is such a big weak spot on the Torso just straight through the core and boom I have shot so many of those out of the sky now oh I like that oh I can't actually jump out of this craft I've just realized because I don't have a chair on this oh no I do hey Larry mind if I attack your chair thanks wait this doesn't count as being connected to the Hearthstone really I didn't know that turrets didn't count as the main vehicle that's really weird I mean it makes sense I guess but still ah you're back online huh where would your AI be so I can steal your resources eh oh I think I just did it nope that's too damaged not AI dead well I think I see it's AI it's right there did I do it no I did it excellent now your child is mine see children the mean traitorous creatures so I spent a loads of resources on extra defenses now so we have laser defense in the form of lots of smoke we have some surge protectors around our batteries and Ai and I've also went ahead and added even more armor to the core of this thing even some anti-hesh armor so hopefully we should be be very well protected going into difficulty 30. this is our last enemy the sandbower what a cool enemy to end with the Trine of death or truck of death either way it's off death [Music] proving that our arm is pretty good there a few cram shells nah it's nothing they did set off our smoke which is very rude considering you are not a laser would you please hit that gun already we hit one of them hit the mine while actually firing at you please there we go and took some basic how's that front looking cause if the smoke went up then yeah the uh first few lies of armor must have been breached you know what if we can still have a cram Cannon to the face I am happy with this thing's armor let's go to difficulty Thursday I'm gonna be so sad when I change this thing it has really grew on me over the last couple of hours it's so basic but I really like it it's my little baby well this is a weird welcome to difficulty 30. I think one of our small hits of broke its brine okay well I'm very glad about smoke because although it did manage to get closer with short range lasers it did nothing it burnt the paintwork smoke is so effective what we need now is anti-missiles and then I think I've got pretty much everything covered heavy armor lots of normal armor anti-hesh work on the inside smoke EMP protection I can't think of what else I can really do to make this thing tankier as a tank let's go to that resource owner sit there for a while until something else attacks us oh yeah I have re-added some of these simple weapons because I like them why is that one say that's what I said that one was saying it wasn't being trolled by AI but it clearly is having also magnify them under attack from the Orion this thing's got a super nasty Grand Cannon as you can tell by my face of being melted off but it can only really fire forward so I'm trying to do is get around it we're actually decently quick what I am noticing is my aim is really off which is interesting needs to change our detection system oh maybe because it melted our detection system off oh please don't fire now come on don't fire now that's it get nice and close I'm gonna give you a big old hug that's it actually hit something of value please super armed at the front I think it's back is quite vulnerable hopefully that did something vital with a brawl right now should have started moving but I didn't because I'm a dumb dumb I know it's super heavy armored but I'm still gonna go for the turret cap anyway do I not have a national fuses oh maybe I don't want simple weapons now think about it oh [Music] didn't think I end up ramming that then but apparently that's what's gonna happen today please hurry up and hit that weak spot thank you goodbye okay you're now vulnerable there's another enemy as well in addition to the Orion and this thing and I'm suddenly starting to feel like my sheer Firepower isn't enough yeah sure we are a defensive Powerhouse we survived and Ryan hits the face but we don't really do that much damage per swing please just go away oh well the Orion just got tucked down by something else I hope you're happy that was gonna be my kill and I was gonna be all happy but no you had to distract me the question is what just took down the Orion so quickly because the Orion is very defensive itself what is that oh that's what ow that was in the last difficulty it's the uh sand Viper I want to say okay let's get closer to it probably not best I am at the turret cap it's a bit too hard to hit oh God someone's shaking that's a disconnect to the camera right there we go one tore it down I think Avatar is also down okay so that enemy is now neutralized we're still being hit by missiles from the first yeesh I guess that's a sign to leave this difficulty very happy with how this tanks survive though I'm super happy with his laser defense but we do need is more engines [Music] if I can hit its underbelly properly that thing will instantly crash oh it looks like it's a little bit out of balance already yeah we really just need more Firepower but it can't hurt us but we're hardly hurting it either that's a problem that's the Wisp in case anyone's wondering from the likelihoods there we go previous little tank okay any more enemies or can I go to the next difficulty now actually might as well grab that resource Zone first the Portal's just over there grab resource zone go through portal figure out way of increasing our damage the problem is we don't have much space the reason why our defense is good is because our turret is well the actual Advanced can is fairly small it's only like a tiny chunk of the inner cavity everything else is super protected there was a weak spot here earlier but I have an hour definitely fixed them so what I've done is I've just loaded this thing with more simple weapons eventually I'll put them in the armor a bit better but to be fair these things are very difficult to destroy they have even more Health than the base one and I have two turrets so you know double the pew pew that was another enemy over there as well which is thankfully distracting these things and missiles completely the AI there that wasn't me at all but now I will take control there we go I knew we'd have a very similar weak spot to the other version of that thing okay a different enemy that's always nice to see the Wando well its face has got oh there it goes oh there's another enemy Strays away after that fantastic that was a lot of EMP that's actually fairly worrying and I'm very glad I have so many surge protectors I think that might be the Jackal from the steel Empire I remember that last time we played oh it's taking out the front two guns which is really annoying trying to think where I have the most surge protectors to try and defend myself honestly I think it's all very much in the core taking a few hits here and there hopefully I'll take out a weapon system soon so is it the Jackal yes it is oh I think I have taken out weapon system it's no longer facing us if that is a turret I think it is like an actual turret not just for this but yeah it is okay but it's still firing thank you surge protectors because our batteries are super vulnerable to the EMP surges that's funny I I did it's funny because it was using EMP yet somehow our explosives caused the idea hey I think I've showcased this Tank's finest difficulty time to increase it and there's our red portal so I think we're really at the point now where we need to save up our resources and then do a major overall so if we can get 20 30 000 resources something like that we can then go somewhere safe maybe a blue portal or just risk it and try and build quickly and then we can just redo everything because I really love this craft but there's not much I can do with the spice we currently have I need anti-immunition defense I need a much bigger Advanced Cannon maybe a railgun maybe a laser system for the anti-munition there's a lot we can do but I need the time to actually do it and the resources that's one thing I've noticed in comparison to the water adventure mode we get very little resource per kill so hopefully difficulty 35 will give us something worth something and maybe I'll actually try and capture something as well because that will give us loads of resource we could shift our ammo over to EMP I didn't really want to do that too much but EMP Advanced cannons is something I've not really played around with before so that would be fun because yes you can have EMP Advanced Cannon shells [Music] so I've changed our side weapons over to EMP our main weapon is still high explosive that will shift over later though there we go the base there has already been destroyed let's see if I can actually capture this thing whoa I'm not connecting properly for some reason okay well this is what I wanted but sure capturing in this mode just seems more difficult than usual no that's too damaged okay so yeah capturing is gonna be difficult well I needed a chair on the front of this craft as well because I can't heal whilst I'm on turret for some reason which I find very odd honestly it's like the turrets don't count as part of the vehicle I guess since they're not the main vehicle that's what's going on where are the chairs there they are well you can have a really weird chair right here in front in fact we'll have a couple sure chair armor it's a new meta it's put me right at the front there super vulnerable thank you did we just melee to death the my light craft I mean I'm okay if so but still okay turn off the AI let's get nice and close I'm currently sitting at the front of the graph so we should be able to capture this finally finally although we could be very dumb right now [Music] that was dumber than expected I admit it is a Mech bottom and I was talking about doing something similar to this in the future if we attach this to our turret we essentially get a friend I've always wanted a friend [Music] very very tempting also very very goofy it is so tempting to keep this thing it is so cool so it has two laser arms which I think are both attached to the same laser system then it has a particle cannon on the back so I'm assuming these things move actually no are these puzzle cannons why should I think that's a particle Cannon oh yeah that's definitely a partial Cannon so I'm assuming this is actually a turret so these will fight forwards during the fight the problem is we don't have the infrastructure to keep this thing running the laser system and everything else it's just too much really cool though and actually I'm tempted to maybe add a kind of protector in the future so rather than adding our munition defense and everything else to the tank build it and it'll floating orb but for now I'm afraid I am going to be scrapping you which is all the resource we've needed those shells are surprisingly nasty on nip side it's EMP protection is biasing non-existent so goodbye to another wonder I'm really looking for a blue portal now we have the resources I really want a blue portal if I can't find one soon though I'm probably just gonna go through a red foreign this is why I didn't want to use EMP too much in this mode a lot of the smaller designs are very vulnerable to EMP because even with surge protectors and everything else if you're that small the EMP will destroy something important yeah look solid protectors loads of them in the corpse but didn't do anything I will be swapping them back very soon okay as a resource Zone come on give me a Blue Portal already so since we had a lot of resource and a lot of time I ended up adding a load more guns to the front of this thing that burst is actually quite nasty considering these are the simple weapons that can be destructive even if I can't quite see what I'm destroying there we go all is done oh and there's no way out for me right now so I can't capture that that's fine we're in the pitch black oh just got some easy resources well I couldn't get through a blue portal so we're gonna build here now in difficulty 40. this is incredibly dangerous because I won't be able to move during this process but it's the only way I can really think of so I'm going to copy these two sides then remove them then expand the centerpiece both forwards and also width wise and then re-add the tracks the tracks will then be edited to be longer themselves that way we have loads more spikes to fly with and we can really get to work increasing our Firepower our gun needs to be removed and replaced as well but I'm gonna do one thing at a time so I don't get ambushed and instantly die all right that is so weird well this is why I didn't take away my gun as well here's hoping this thing will actually move and I'll test it obviously coming over the thrusters or anything so yep it's able to move that's right we're not gonna be as agile as we once were plus currently yeah things aren't exactly set up properly oh we're hitting them they're not hitting us uh maybe I should stay where I am no I'm missing most of my shots to do hold off for a bit I don't think I'm particularly vulnerable okay I'm a little bit vulnerable on the sides and very specific spots that's not gonna last obviously but for now it is the smoke should still function what were those shots then AI can take control of the main good I'm gonna go straight for the core again these things tend to blow up if the call goes down nope this is not a great position please backwards oh God I need to set everything back up again oh well apparently kind of broke why are we twisting am I like in the ground or something I'm not doing this it's doing it by itself yeah I haven't set everything up yet oh oh well well that's what we're doing apparently well that was a very very silly fight so the reason why the controls are so bad is because I kind of forgot that copy and pasting something means you're inverting the controls so now we're back to being able to turn on the spot although a lot more sluggishly than before I will fix this by adding more wheels and also adding the Jets and everything else but for now we just need to really armor this thing up the weapons are basically as they were before it's a little bit weaker because well I had to remove a couple but now we have loads more spikes to play with in the centerpiece I'm gonna move backwards eventually and also a little bit more up because currently it looks a little bit two-dimensional far far too flat oh I think that was the Wrecker okay now we're running into issues of I think I've put the wheels too low sorry too high off they need to be a little bit lower or I could do is just increase the spring length well there's an easy way to fix it anyway just change these ones at the top again otherwise gonna slide down and look really really silly those of like a couple of very large missiles running towards me or maybe not oh it's a series of small missiles being fired together okay so I've changed up my shells on the main Cannon actually most of the shells that I'm finding a mix of EMP and kinetic with the smaller cannons which I have a lot of now and the main Cannon is firing a thump shell which sounds funny to say hello essentially it's a hollow point although apparently the EMP did the job here I don't even know what that was that's an interesting looking thing isn't it very cheap I just didn't want to keep on using high explosive all the time eventually we're gonna go with aphg so going into the craft and then detonating once inside for now just pure kinetic because I've had too many explosions we really need to move this turret Gap it looks so silly so squished down like that and so small 300 millimeter gauge a three meter shell length and it is now a rail gun which means we have the potential to do this the good old rail shotgun that's like hundreds of thousands of damage just being lobbed all at once over honestly scary distances like if you set up to be pretty much anything we can have them as kinetic to just try and go straight through targets we can have them as high explosive it doesn't really matter because they don't need gunpowder because they're just using the battery we can make them very very powerful for their size but as these are arming them up so that there on the outside is just actually attached to the turret itself as you can see I do want armor around here as well and now it's taking up a significantly larger chunk of the tank than it was before they should be very scary for the anime now hopefully we don't get attacked before I arm this thing up because it is very expensive oh one shot okay maybe I don't need them to be fired like a shotgun then yeah I am super not happy with this craft also I think we might be under attack yeah well actually the craft itself it's okay it's definitely taking form the turret Gap absolutely hate it so I'm going to do is raise it up a little bit make this a bit more stylized and then probably go for a steel empire style of turret cap because those tend to look very neat that's probably I'm going to stick with so what's actually attacking us anyway oh I know you you are actually surprisingly tanky okay let's go and say hello our tank is also surprisingly quick for its eyes I mean the two giant jets at the back probably have something to do with that honestly come on let's get in range well less so in range more a guaranteed hit there we go well I'm happier with it but I still don't like it but honestly we don't have the resources to continue building upwards for the time being so I think I'll just stick with this for now and slap the big old sticker of to be continued on it because that's gonna be this entire build this thing is chunky it is mostly just armor and spiced armor and everything else to try and protect it and that's pretty much the entire build still need munition defense that's the next thing but for now I need to find myself a red portal because I've been in difficulty 40 for way too long difficulty 45 I keep forgetting which difficulty I'm in so I'm in the sandbox mode just testing out different types of shells and I think this is the shell type I'm going to stick with oh look at that that was just beautiful so this is a high explosive anti-tank round essentially a heat round and what this means is that we're doing lots of internal damage the explosives are causing loads of little fragments to spawn through the enemy so although the actual explosives aren't doing much damage on the outside as you can see it can absolutely tear apart the innards of the enemy absolutely lovely to better explain it shape charge head uses immediately connected explosive Warheads to blast a stream of armor piercing copper into the target and that's it that's exactly what it does I was messing around with Hesh as well and a few other things in addition to just iphe but honestly I really like this type of shell and I haven't used it in such a long time I do remember it being stronger than it is at the moment but I'm still perfectly happy with the result just look at all the random stuff that falls off the enemy it's just so fun to watch yeah this is definitely what we're gonna stick with well aren't you gorgeous and also very very annoying well there goes it's uh parcel Cannon I'm also hearing a lot of explosions and it's AI that yep well proof that the heat works so I didn't think those attacks really did anything but actually I think I've broken it completely yeah this thing is no longer able to get off the ground wow yeah they definitely tore apart something inside this craft well a bit of a sad victory at the end because there's no way I'm going to be able to catch up with that so I'm not gonna get the resources but still finally going into difficulty 50. still fairly small enemies um I'm gonna try and get to difficulty 55 as soon as I can then so far just green portals though so that's been a little bit annoying foreign oh wow can I please get something vital [Music] very fun although I did get hit by the Chromecast early on thankfully heavy armor [Music] oh that shot was lovely okay so there is plain above me that can fire missiles but it just hasn't been so I'm just gonna leave oh no it's finally firing again that was me thinking I finally found a friend there we go and you're gone I can actually start capturing stuff with this weapon I'm getting a lot of AI deaths foreign oh I already destroyed it well your brain was small apparently oh that looked painful sorry record oh there you are Larry just sitting around doing nothing I yeah same okay difficulty 65 and apparently we're seeing the same enemy again it's one of the Wreckers I'll wait until it gets closer then I'll Target the main body itself it's been as a lot of internal's gone yet somehow that thing is still heading towards us oh the last time there's one shot and it instantly went down ow um hmm not sure what to do here where did I shoot last time which just utterly broke you that is horrifying if I move forward though it's gonna overshoot yep oh that's not balanced anymore is it yep and it is I I did so where did I actually shoot then I think I must have got lucky last time and just and just tore through all of this this time kind of the opposite still I guess it wasn't firing its guns that entire time so I must have broke something earlier that is so creepy following us thankfully lasers don't do too much and yet there it goes Its brain just went bye-bye I've also finally added the missile interceptors to the back although I don't know if they're going to be good in that that current position I may end up actually just attaching them to the main turret we'll see I'm just watching this so we have the blinds here versus this little drone Squad they're all firing missiles at each other none of them are really able to hit each other I'm just slowly backing off apparently ah the problem is I am lobbing interceptors because all the missiles being thrown around I don't even know who I want to win like if I want to fight more kind of none of them but I do kind of want to hit that thing so it just looks like it'll go pop if you hit the right spot oh it moves so weirdly though stop moving in such a bizarre wise please take so many hits I mean I've only hit it a couple of times it's taken so many missiles there we go I think I took out something important finally yeah it looks like AI sections so its brain was in this bit on the top roll one interesting do I actually fight here or do I just go away oh look one of the little drones oh we could capture that excuse me I would love a pet little drone don't move away from me that's close okay so I'm gonna quickly save this thing then thank you and I'm now gonna just leave okay I think those missiles went through the ground to hit me so there's two enemies both fighting each other as well so we have a twin guard one of these you've already seen before I think actually have we seen this one hard to tell then we have oh the hexa yep definitely so that there is very heavy with the mimics because this is actually a very low gauge rail gun and it fires hundreds upon hundreds of small shots I also remember the hexa being a nightmare to deal with because of just so much defense I'm hoping next will turn around to try and face the other enemy because then we get some shots on its back rather than its armored front nope still facing me well the one with the lasers I'm not I'm not particularly scared of the hexa I am actually am very worried about don't fire at me thank you smoke some of your missiles though that is a ridiculous amount of missiles that was a good shot a very good first shot there in fact did that stake out its railgun yes okay so I think the hex's railgun was taken out by the first hit it's hard to tell still definitely moving if I think the main systems are gone so now it has this little side weapon in which case I'm going to go after the other Target now I guess it does also have missiles but it's going to show its back to me then of course I'll take some putt shots goodbye hexa okay that was Far easier than I expected lastly oh another enemy jeez all the enemies at once that's a lot of VMP that is a lot of EMP come on hit those thrusters hit something difficult style I've actually done though just so many missiles everywhere let me just take stock of what's going on that's where I hit it okay it looks like taking out one with steam engine no I have taken out one of its custom Jets lovely that parcel Cannon is what really worries me about the other targets I think I'll go after the twin guard just swapping targets back and forth okay I seem to have done something very bad to that thing's Brian by hitting the base there let's go over this hill and try a good shot on this enemy [Music] oh that was something all right [Music] okay lovely one more gun ow yeah our munition defense is kind of worthless what it currently is straight after this fight that's being completely overhauled [Music] thank you okay the base is destroyed we just hit Wyatt can only assume is the ammo storage on the Minecraft oh don't die oh we're not gonna be able to capture it but it's gonna be so close oh no it killed Larry meaning come on no oh I must have been like one second away then from a full capture can enemies please stop attacking me while I'm building and testing things out so I've removed all the guns on the front obviously I haven't fully armed it back up yet and you may notice our Barrel is now a lot thinner than it was before because after fighting the hexa I just couldn't resist making a rapid fire good on my own so now it's firing at 500 rounds per minute and we're continuing with them being Heat this isn't necessarily good because generally heat shells and stuff like that do better on large shells these are now tiny but definitely get the job done okay so here was my thinking with making these with these heat shells it's Death By A Thousand Cuts the idea is just loads of little needles going into the enemy and if one of them hits something important that could be the fight over right there and then because the different designs are so small in this mode you don't need much to really carve through and do some proper damage and I've also set them to be actually let us go to the shells themselves I've set them for the maximum penetration factor that means they do less damage with the actual fragments but they go further through the enemy which is very needed because you don't get that much with these very small shells but again if there's one of those needles hit something important the fight's pretty much over and now we have enough resources I could do is make it fire a lot faster than it is currently I think that's what I'm going to spend my resources on changed to the overall design of this craft especially from the outside but I've just been adding more armor more protections extra engine stuff just constantly improving it just not in a more visual way oh wow okay yep there goes the railgun again I think these guns are actually decent I can't believe I'm actually really surprised that low gauge heat seems to be okay I've also now added the anti munition system to the front of the craft rather than the back of the craft it seems to be working a little bit better though I still need to tweak it a little bit let's increase the difficulty again [Music] that is such a cool little Squadron of enemies [Music] I'm now realizing how slow our shells are as well currently see what's going on right now but it's pretty well that was fun okay lovely we've knocked out one of its guns just to reduce my camera because I'm way too far away I wonder what types of shell they are they're definitely explosive something they actually could be very similar to ours oh I think they are okay so I didn't realize that actually is using Hesh as well sorry Heat well it's glitching out the audio and I'm too close that's interesting choosing its powers to make the video worse I don't need help with that honestly I'm trying to go if the guns are so difficult with how they're mounted on the sides like that go more for the core so more of our shells actually here so that'd be great well I think we've won this one it's not really firing back anymore so I'm gonna hit something important foreign and there's also a flyer after us so probably should focus on that now a lot of missiles incoming hopefully our interceptors actually work this time okay yep they did fantastic of course fragments coming out the other side that's fantastic yeah rapid fire Heat against small targets actually seems really good I really need to start stacking armor like this as well every single steel Empire thing I've been fighting seems to have that and they all seem very sturdy okay well we have resources to make some changes again do I just want to make the gun stronger honestly no I'm quite happy with it as it is I think what we need is more engine power more speed and maybe a secondary weapon we do have all the spikes now at the front though it could also mount a couple of missiles one here one here or I could respawn in that drone we stole earlier that would be interesting as well all of these are options or even a very small laser system to back up the anti-munition system oh oh my God isn't reloaded yet please land some of these hits just a couple you know just a few oh I think I've actually taken that one down this Jet's not working anymore tax is one good hit with these shells oh dear okay they're bombing they are actually dropping bombs on us let's move now should have moved earlier should have moved earlier don't know why I also Delight then they're pretty yes okay two down there's the parents over there doesn't seem to be doing all that much which is good trying to run away also puts us in a much better position to fire so that's exactly all I'm gonna keep doing oh we don't have enough ammo that's another thing I need to add and I didn't really think about okay that one's falling out the sky as well these shells are lovely come on yes all of you are down none can beat the Jaffa Cake the other scariest of sponges the shells are a bit slow though I'll admit that much probably throwing it closer to this thing but as long as we're hitting it doesn't matter too much yeah we're not firing at full speed right now look all those fragments it looks like Sparks I'm an electric type oh is that it pop beautiful just littered with these drones I guess I could go capture them I mean may as well right interesting well if you're gonna be a little nuisance I want you to be a proper little nuisance so that's the scorn drone that we stole earlier okay stop firing please [Music] so he could spawn in those or even these which were dropping bombs before but we could outfit them very easily to use just normal missiles just stealing multiple parts of the um twin guard here I think hopefully this will work yep there we go let's use the adventure belt to sport in an enemy so as soon as the enemy spawned in that released our drones enemies very far away hopefully it won't just kill one the Drone straight away oh it's already done some damage on the Drone doesn't it yep oh didn't know you had a flare interesting that's it I'm me and said please hmm not really what I meant to do there honestly is there a reason why you haven't been released oh drones drones versus drones today now you drop those as if they were still normal bombs but they shouldn't have been curious yeah why are you dropping them this way what's going on oh torpedo propeller how did I I don't know how I managed to do that to be completely honest now why aren't you firing because you should be but you're not I think I fixed it also our drones just won this fight I think there you go yeah now you're firing the missiles okay oh drones again okay lovely to see you all oh good you've been hit by EMP my uh drones are actually working oh these are interesting a different type of drone again so many drone types of the twin guard or whatever they're actually called in a the land version hopefully my little drones actually take those out with their missiles I can focus on the parent yep there's one more gun ah one of our drones got took out I think you're kidding me more little Flyers it's been really fun using the drones but I am going to scrap them once I reach the next difficulty and I've got a pretty good reason for it I am going to make one of our earlier versions and completely set it up with its own Ai and it will follow me along I'm fairly certain they know where the enemy is and should be going towards it I should be sharing my uh my detection info with them so they should be going in the right direction right now oh yeah I'm seeing shells there from one of our tanks hitting the Target and another one from behind me I have loaded them out with 300 millimeter EMP rounds essentially they're both just very nasty disruptors and should really help out the main tank yeah there we go EMP it's in fact one of the tanks just scored the kill lovely now this is a bit done a bit nervous about once the fight's over they're both going to be dragged back to the main vehicle and there's a chance that it's gonna die on the terrain okay we need to make that non-automatic releasing them fine dragging them back no actually Landing a hit would be good oh and we're now reloading as well I'm mostly using belt fed loaders on this gun which means I do actually have reload phases why every time these things spawn in is it suddenly night time like every time I can't see a thing is that one going down it's hard to tell okay EMP got one of them well done thank you baby tanks okay there goes the second oh oh oh yep that's going that's going the MP's broken something and goodbye okay oh the Rhino okay welcome to difficulty 90 potentially the end of the road that thing is gonna be super tanky and those crowns could probably take us out if they get one good hit let's hope we can hit them first gonna hold our firing for a short while though yeah straight away we hit my crams kind of hoping the drones will take some of the fire off me honestly I'd rather lose a drone than lose the Minecraft obviously let's go for the core I suppose they're in a wet fire there's gonna be lots of heavy armor hopefully the mix of EMP and all of our heat shells should do something to the internals I'm seeing a lot of things explode so I've definitely hit something already it's a lot of confetti oh not good okay let's just line up okay pause let's have a look see what we're actually doing yeah I'm seeing a lot of random components in the armor which is good I don't need to hit the barrel though look who's wasted fragments so where do we even want to hit I honestly don't know if I feel cheesy looking in the enemy craft but I haven't got a clue what's fire just cool shots I suppose well there's one of the guns why can't I aim in that direction what's going on okay stove the hill I see one tank where's my other okay it's over there so it's just behind the hill but then I mean distance once again just going for cool shots maybe we can damage the barrel looks like we have okay this gun is so good at just knocking things off this might be one of my all-time favorite guns okay I think we have neutralized the rhino let's see what the other craft is well whilst we're fighting the Rhino one of our tanks has lost his turret and that's probably because of this thing that looks like a nasty single weapon there that's probably gonna be really really armor penetrating shells yeah I'm assuming that thing is just made just cool things out don't want to go through the green portal thank you very much [Music] okay it's gonna just keep backing off isn't it okay in that case start firing oh yeah it's going right into my armor that is [Music] what [Music] oh my God it managed to pierce into the cabin I got hit you know of all the times I have lost in the adventure mode I have never lost because my character got hit I had three layers of heavy armor and then some wooden armor for anti-hesh Stuff and an airspace I wish I could move the camera around a little bit more oh God yeah that's been battered and br oh no it looks like it's been broken open early from the cram shells [Music] difficulty 90. well hell that's that I was looking back at the footage and yep 100 that's what happened during the fight against the Rhino the front of this craft got hit multiple times for the cram shells and then moving straight into the next fight I didn't notice all that damage and the shell went right through and just completely obliterated the avatar what I honestly depressing way to go but that is it so it's the end of the adventure mode here all of our craft as we built them I think I'll start doing showcases like this at the end I absolutely love this mode there's a lot of things I'll do differently definitely weapons everything else I'd love making the drones near the end so I'm definitely gonna do that again and tell me if
