Well Linus is smashing it - so glad he's got the chance for a first look and looking forward to his review and any follow up. He's been asking all the right questions and I've really enjoyed everything he's been able to look at thus far.
He's got me more hyped.
I'm glad he acknowledged that you could hear him on every other video in the background :D
He also talks about the Anti-Glare etched screen a bit at the end:

His enthusiasm for the Steam Deck is contagious. I really didn't need to take the brakes off my already runaway hype train. Haha.
Love his enthusiasm for the deck. Another great video.
I hope they got plenty of steam decks. I have a Playstation. But I've been looking for a good hand held since mine got stolen. So the steam deck is my next thing j ain't even got a steam.account. but imma get one.
When Linus got to this point and mentioned the possibility of someone making an accessory for the Deck to hold an external drive, I immediately thought of u/Zachattackrandom who's already been noodling around with a pre-release mockup of just such a thing :D.
I thought it was interesting that Valve didnβt want them to show or talk about specific games outside of a few since the devs of those games havenβt had time to optimize their games for the handheld to get the beat performance. I respect that.
But I do want to see Halo MCC running on this thing ASAP. And Halo Infinite in the future.
This coverage from Linus has been phenomenal
