this is when we first got the camper this is the first place we went to so uh this place has a very special place in my heart because about the kids here first time with the camper first trip we made and it was at Goose Islands so but luckily we know the area now so what we're going to do is check it out y'all there's a pier right over there there's nobody there and a little we're gonna we're gonna get all the rods and line it up and throw a bunch of crabs out but for right now I'm gonna hang out a little bit and we got one right out here right in front of the Bay and I was looking at the maps and Navionics and uh this area right here has a nice little hole that's about like 10 feet deep so hopefully we're in it man hopefully we catch some fish meanwhile do you know what I like to do been cast sitting I got wood I got black drum I got gizzard shed and I actually got two uh one sheep said I got a black drum and there's a bunch of barnacles here so that means that this is a really good place to fish there's gonna be a lot of drum here and actually I just got a gizzard shot right now too so hopefully we keep casting we get some more bait foreign the fish you just saw jumping this is it good [Music] stuff cook I don't know what it is that you know what these are guys last night when I was walking back from the pier I saw people catching specks and I'm alive throw them under a popping cork it just freeze actually Fruitland we could get some nice fish with that some table fare I got this one I'll try load up on baby real quick I've seen a different various fish out here so I've heard really good reports that you can catch packs here big drum wool Reds somebody caught a tarpon wolf sharks this area has a vast array it's very diverse in the ecosystem a lot of fish out here so earlier we just casted a spoil it got all kinds of stuff to use all right so we are loaded up with bait and we brought crabs so hopefully we can get something oh yeah so we came out here to Goose Island to do some new fishing out here we've only been here once before that we didn't catch anything but we figured that over here in the February it would be good because the Drone might be running and spawning but yeah so far so good last night that's gonna be a separate video I had one of the best nights that I've ever had I'm still exhausted from last night but that's going to be a video after this probably next week but anyways for right now what I really like about Goose line is that you can park we have our RV parked over there and then we have the pier that runs All Around The Bay right here and look at that right in the middle of a large Bay you know there has to be big fish out here you know I bet there's Tarpon actually the Texas record bull shark was caught the Lorenzo's pass down that way there's a deep channel that runs through there there's probably bull sharks out here in the summer but uh you know it's a great place to Canada all kinds of things to do out here and the water people out here so uh it's a win-win if even if I don't catch anything I'm out here with my family we're enjoying it so regardless you know the fish is a bonus so hopefully up appreciate it yeah it looks it looks a lot smaller when they're down there you pull out they're like bigger pliers imagine this isn't very deep here right no it's about four feet so you don't have to ventilate him no but if I keep it up to him I might have to yeah when we uh when we get them they're around the point where he's got a ventilator well that's 65 70 feet down they're down on the bottom what do you use the ventilate yours knife you just count back four spots held back in there where are we at here I've heard of people using turkey injectors too I had one of the fancy ones foreign guys huge they passed away like what is like 30 40 pounds something like that 43 inches as soon as we casted this line out it got hit we go fish as soon as we got here all right let's go foreign there he goes alrighty I got stuck on one of these thanks wow I just got one big drum it was 43 inches that's pretty big that was a huge drum so now we're gonna do is we're going to cast out again we gotta have a crab right here got the eight ounce weight got the Third Coast leader Okuma psycho stick Muskie I know it's funny using a Musky setup out here but it's working it works really good out here yeah the Komodo let's get this out hopefully we have another one right away it's just hard to cast out here to get so windy you don't have to get out here far there we go see three two something foreign this one's pulling it's like you're fighting against current like this like they're so large that feels like you're pulling dead weight [Music] [Music] foreign foreign foreign foreign hooked well kinda let's see if you would have set the hook on that initial run we would have lost it we wouldn't have landed this fish so I know a lot of people like to say oh you take too long but you see that's why you would have lost it big old drum this is not that big it's probably like a 35 36 inch but still sometimes these either ones fight harder than large ones the larger ones are those dead away what's up man thank you you're fun watches elbow look at this nice drum here these are like these are average size wool drum right here check it out this one I can actually extend
