I'm a 3D artist and in this video I turned Minecraft Mobs into overpowered boss versions and even got a real mod developer to rate them from 1 to 10. these are some of my best yet so if you like what you see appreciate if you subscribe for my first boss I started by blocking out a basic jellyfish nothing crazy yet emphasis on yet I've got this idea that the end could be like the deep ocean I mean with all the lovecraftian horrors we find down there it might as well be they've got crabs the size of your dog squids the size of your house and goblin sharks named for their ability to gobble these fish I kept going on the jellyfish but I couldn't help but think it looked too plain I'm used to making stuff like this and this thing so I threw down some blocks at 45 degree angles to make it look more complicated it did the job but next I thought it would be cool if the Bell were transparent oh you don't know what the Bell is that's what the uninitiated would call this thing and these those are the uh oral arms my attention span is rapidly diminishing I went with a pink and purple color scheme but my initial plan was starting to look worse and worse I mean it might pass as nft art but would it pass as a Minecraft boss I don't think so I mean just look how simple these things are to avoid overthinking this I added a couple more small details this is going to be interesting I started blocking out the colors from top to bottom adding imperfections over the base coat to make it look realistic Can you spot the difference I can't the end Dimension is painfully Bare Bones so it would be pretty cool to see this thing just rise out of the Void start swimming towards you I added Coral type textures at 45 degree angles and now it at least looks better than some Minecraft Mobs long story short just 2.3 gigabytes later the texturing was starting to come together but what else I ask you would make a void creature like this even worse babies did you know that jellyfish reproduce by literally launching eggs to the ocean floor which develop into polyps that go on to Bud into more jellyfish in simpler terms technically I'm skipping a few steps but this jellyfish will launch these purple eggs which explode into several babies that try to sting you I could be so evil and give them the levitation effect but gamers are already oppressed enough can we agree on that okay what if some babies play defense they could just orbit around like this I don't know oh what if some of them can grow into adults again just a glimpse into my Twisted mind I added a few final touches to strengthen things up massive glowing balls for example really makes the design come together throw on some glare to make it look like shaders because in this house we love excessive post processing I got some insane final camera shots to show the mod developer at the end but I assure you this boss was only the practice run compared to the next one the jellyfish wasn't that hard but for my next idea I'm going to need pure Focus rivaling that of a child with an iPad as you already know I'm one of the most productive people around I procrastinate for three weeks and then do three weeks of work they even made some for me that's kind of cool for my next boss I started with a humanoid model humanoid is a loose term here okay you can't tell yet it's based on the warden from the deep dark but with a few uh minor changes you'll see I want this boss to be a 10 out of 10. so I started with a basic sketch just to get the ideas out there next I kept adding progressively more cubes until I couldn't figure out where to put more of them this one's going to be complicated my idea is a Mecca Ward and probably spawns if you kill an iron golem next to a skull Shrieker or something I don't know does anybody follow these updates I made the jaw slightly Askew is that a word they give it this broken down rickety look the bones themselves are also exposed and we got some sort of Gatling and this is meant to be a flamethrower but that could change now let's be completely honest is this realistic to what Minecraft would actually make probably not but is that a bad thing finished up the model I added these tanks for the flamethrower and connected them with this cable that actually follows the hand as it moves around tell me that's not cool at the end of the day this model has a total of 65 individual Parts which is perfect because I love getting aneurysms from painting textures especially considering the original Warden has eight eight I started by blocking out the colors well actually I procrastinated for a week but then I started blocking out the colors I'm keeping the word important color scheme for the most part he's got this teal to Black gradient going on with a beige bone structure here and there that part I basically copied and pasted but this time hear me out I decided to add teeth I know that sounds crazy it is this looks insane going for a weird Minecraft FNAF hybrid I don't know if that'll work out but knowing things is not my job I added these crazy runes all over it and deleted parts of the exposed bone oh that looks so good why am I hungry now hour and a half later and it's looking pretty promising but I need it to be perfect I've redesigned the warden once but we do not talk about that around these parts I looked it up and down a couple times added some horns because it looks bald and now I get to texture all these cubes I can do this I started with the head adding tons of color variation there's probably a quicker way to do this but if there is I'm too lazy to find it I even made some of the teeth different lengths really sells the whole British I mean rickety design next I worked on the armor plating the runes made a few things glow in the dark yeah this is cool for the arms I match the bone pattern the warden uses along with the typical teal gradient now let's talk about these weapons for the flamethrower I want a similar look to the soul fire rather than this basic stuff so I made the back tanks glow as well and yes technically a flamethrower shoots gas not fire but we're talking about a game where teleportation is easier than finding a horse so I think we're okay for the Gatling I gave it a glowing Center and a bone exterior I imagine it would spin around like this pretty cool I'm not gonna drag this out it took a long time and it was really painful but in the end it was worth it because this is the old Warden and this is the new one compared to the original the mecca Warden would be about one block taller and probably a lot beefier I don't know why anyone would want to fight this thing but what do I know if you designed this boss what would it do what would it drop you guys are made of ideas in the meantime I set up some final camera shots and with that I was out of time because the day had finally arrived for the mod developer to judge my work I think you're gonna like these I'm ready to be impressed wow as always I'm like super impressed I love the color choices I think it would fit very well in the end the layering that you've done is really really nice the squash and stretch on the animations is also really really satisfying to look at oh I didn't even notice that the rails extend out a little bit that looks really nice I guess if I had to nitpick it may be a little too vibrant the end is pretty desaturated although I guess her Pur is pretty bright I'm gonna have to give this an overall seven out of 10. the execution is a solid like nine out of ten and then the ease of coding it's like not a problem so you know what I'm actually gonna bump my score up eight out of ten wow hold on let me just take this in for a second it looks like it has a flame thrower for a left arm oh man it has a backpack oh wow as always I'm upset that I can't see this thing in a game what do I like everything the offset jaw is a really nice little detail when you put it next to the old Warden it's like you versus the guy she tells you not to worry about a Mech is obviously out of theme for Minecraft I guess I'll dock you a point there I don't really like the shoulders I feel like they're a little Bland my first instinct is like eight and a half out of ten I just launched the itch page for my latest game so be sure to check that out and just like that I was able to impress the
