I Cheated and Still Lost...

all right look it's once again time we did our stream with geo wizard not too long ago during that stream i brought up to him that i beat him in his urban world play along and i'm not gonna say this is in response to that but he uploaded a video today called i guarantee you won't beat this score must watch play along which is like it's it's baiting me he's goading me in a way challenge accepted i'm gonna put tom in the dirt look i get it he's got europe down but i beat him in an a and by n a i mean united states which is pretty much all that matters outside of mexico okay to everybody saying already watched this i have been live for nine days when explain to me how i broadcast my entire life this was uploaded two hours ago you literally saw everything that i did when into my mouth came out of my body came out of my mouth everything how in the world did i sneak away for 28 minutes in the bathroom yeah i guess if i'm that desperate to beat tom though you have to give it to me you're live talk welcome to another play along video uh in which we explore an urban world probably well one of the best maps in the realm of geoguessr and you get to play along with me try and beat my score oh it's great fun all right i'm in i'm in my turn first so the way it works with the play along is you play first and then after you put where you want to go on the map by clicking down then tom will go and he'll take his time as well this was labeled as a must watch by tom in a must play and we are in turkey uh we're in turkey because there's a turkish flag right here red with a white crescent moon we're also by the sea the mediterranean and we need to find the city name which could be vaticant or satesi i imagine it's satesy i don't know either way we're in turkey by the sea now it is urban world which means usually you're in a much larger city you know you're not in like you know there's no rando spots like somewhat rando but nothing to rando music school over there and we never do the suzuki method as a kid suzuki method what was a song from that that i used to jam out to [Music] of these songs went dumb hard i mean look my name's ludwig so early on my mom wanted me to learn piano i've had two piano teachers in my life my first piano teacher was buy the book suzuki method go home learn one song come back do it perfectly go next and i never liked practicing at home because i didn't like the songs that much and some were boring and so i never did that and i eventually quit got a second piano teacher a few years later who was the exact opposite she was like the hippie of piano teachers i would go in she'd be like what song do you want to play you pick you get crazy with it and i was like okay and so i learned the star wars theme but that was that was her style was to try to get the students excited about it i think both are valid neither worked i dropped piano completely and then the only thing i learned after that was how to play 2xanarchand by following a 30-minute three-part youtube tutorial and i can crush that on piano now the only thing i know is that in the description tom said this took him two hours which makes me believe that tom must have spent hours searching for the urban city so he would have a good score because usually in these play along he's very laissez faire very i don't give a [ __ ] click go but i'm assuming maybe he was riled up by something to get a really really phenomenal score so he went really hard to find the the exact city that's my guess so i also need to go hard you know he spent a couple hours let me spend a couple more let's make this a four hour affair i mean the video is 30 minutes so if he does any speed ups at all i guess which way are we facing that's a good question yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah so this is out north if the sea is to the north of me then i must be either you know here you know i could be in one of these these areas but more likely because it doesn't seem like we're cut off it seems like the sea just kind of goes so i don't feel like i'm like here looking at here i feel like i'm probably here-ish you know maybe on the on the top possibly here possibly here now my biggest fear is because i don't look at chat that i pass it because i've done that before and then chat is like just disappointed they're not even upset at me they're just like man you just [ __ ] up you had it and you just passed it like an idiot and i just feel bad about myself so i'm hoping i don't do that or perhaps i've already done it which would suck but we can't live our the so this is actually funny my answer was this and when you click it's locked that's the rule so it was actually cheating to go to samson so this isn't cheating it's more so like writing the wrongs of the past is what it is because i had clicked it and i and i and you you'll remember me saying this under my breath if you wind back the tapes i went locked and cocked and then i went over here and then i changed it which was cheating so this is only fair play it's only fair play um genuinely genuinely only fair play here it is i got the exact road and i doubted and you know what i did the reason i switched is because i thought to myself this is pretty far right if it's somewhere further to the east or west excuse me um then it's better to go central ah as much as i love vghs and i would love to just cheat and scam i uh i'll take my l i did nail it i feel like i deserve this one but oh fatty kent oh my god you are oh absolutely kidding me there's no way don't tease me he's gonna get a perfect score dude oh i'm gonna lose because i choked round one right we've got a big row of buildings that is that's it you did the right thing [ __ ] the right thing i know tom and here's the thing about tom when he gets one perfect score round one he tries exponentially harder on the following maps to attempt to get a perfect score now did i get this wrong yes however i independently discovered the town and the road before backing out so i'm going to take the l on this entire play along because there's no way for me to beat tom at this point because i think he's just going to go off which is why the title is as extreme as it is must watch play along i guarantee you won't beat the score so i'm i'm dr disrespect i'm doctor disrespecting accepting that even if i beat a score i'm losing but to see where i would have stacked up when magical genie descends from the earth and saves me basically i'm cheating because i i've i've resigned to tom understanding that he's going to get a perfect score this round and that this title is probably not clickbait because tom is tom not ludwig and so he doesn't make titles like these unless he actually means it so i know that when tom gets a perfect score he gets very sweaty i also know that he said he takes two hours to beat this and that this took him about two three minutes so if it took him to do three minutes get a perfect score here he's gonna take another hour 55 plus to the next four rounds aka he's gonna get almost a perfect score so i am not trying to beat tom as a man i understand i can't do that i'm trying to beat tom as a doctor incredible here it is and it feels so damn good maybe this cheating thing isn't as bad as i thought it gets you the results you want and all you lose is people's respect but they still give you the money i'll take that well done anyone who got that because i did without tooting my horn that was quite exceptional me and you baby quite frankly me and you tom toot mine was mostly skill is spacio because it says spotsy on multiple signs i think we're in spacio brazil now i could just be wrong this could just be spanish which case i would be [ __ ] um frankly estacionamento spazio plates are on the taxi cabs not the cars themselves but columbia makes sense because there are some yellow plates in cl make sense for there too is there another option i think chile makes the most sense santiago is much too large to be this it's also mountainous which makes sense for chile chile is so long though that you know okay i had to find out the city then we have a couple of clues one is lido and that's all i got so let's check out lido do i think i am coastal perhaps that's why it's like this but there are also mountains surrounding me maybe over there is the sea that could be the sea i think that's mountains that could be the sea over there it's so foggy though is there another road sign santa maria wait that says santa maria too wait santa maria santa maria and this place is called maria elena and the road is santa maria but i don't think maria elena is the same thing as santa maria there's like no businesses to go off of am i surrounded by hills even no i don't think there's some excuses it rules out a lot of places it rules out all the coastal places so here i go i'm looking for a town with the right shaped grid in northern chile with mountains either side of us
