I can't believe this is Godot!

hello hello everybody and welcome back today we're taking a look at the stunning gdau game road to for stock this game is being developed by a Finnish developer named Tim he originally envisioned it as a unity game but later on Switched to gdau when Unity changed his pricing model and I've been following his process of porting the game from Unity to gdau for the last year it's been amazing to see all the clips of this game and he finally released the demo that is running on the gdau engine and we're going to take a look at that today but first and foremost I want to direct everybody's attention to the links in the description these are his Twitter Youtube and Instagram page that's where you can track the development of this game I'll also leave a link to the steam page that's where you can download this demo right now for free and if you like what you see of course please wish list the game on Steam and now let's take a look at this demo of course the first thing that stands out in this demo is the visuals if you would have shown me this gaml without further context I would have definitely guessed that it was made in uh Unity or even unreal 4 but just the fact that this is running in gdau and running running really well is an amazing feed of itself and what makes this demo even more interesting is that it's not just ey candy this whole demo already has a really nice AAA feeling the weapon animations are done so well uh there's an add-on system for the weapons uh clothing system healing is there enemy AI uh interaction with the world with opening containers and doors and altogether it's just the most impressive good game I've ever seen I was never one to doubt good those graphical or technical capabilities but there's a big difference between knowing something possible and actually seeing it right in front of you and this game has blown me away countless times so I won't spend too much more time fanboying over this project I just wanted to give a shout out to the project really quick I know a lot of Gau users already have seen this project from the clips on Reddit or the videos here on YouTube but yeah in case you didn't know just wanted to let you know that this is out go download it from the steam page and wish list the game and I'll leave you with some gameplay of me just running around shooting some enemies for it's is is
