I Busted 50 Minecraft Myths in Real Life

and Minecraft can't take damage if you land in water in this video on the next one in Minecraft you can make a bow using three sticks and three strings so we're gonna test that today by using these three sticks and then one long string to make it a little bit easier for us so far three sticks makes this and then we gotta add the string on the side and there you go we it actually myth confirmed you can make a bow out of three sticks in one string there you go people can fit in a Minecraft boat three two one oh it's floating no it's not it's busted in Minecraft if you have Frost Walker boots you can actually walk on water so what I've got here is water resistant wood we added water resistant spray to the bottom of it and these pictures that I'm wearing are Frozen right now so we have Frozen boots and water resistant wood three two one oh I'm floating in the water in a way works but it's not gonna keep me afloat so myth busted unfortunately but on to the next one items disappear when thrown at a cactus right here I have my stone shovel and uh we're gonna test this out yeah I didn't think that was going to work myth busted in Minecraft if you give a cat or ocelot food then they become your best friend so we're gonna test to see if that works now you want to be besties are we besties I'm gonna take that as a no um so myth busted no you cannot just give a cat food and they'll be your best friend water flows infinitely when placed using a bucket okay we're gonna place the water and does it stay infinite no it does not water goes away myth busted in Minecraft the player can only jump one block high right here we have what should be one block so we're just gonna test to see if that works okay yeah we're good you can jump one block High myth confirmed so right here I have our little crafting table and we're going to use this to craft everything we need to cook um you know and uh bake stuff can you make Minecraft cookies using Minecraft's cookie recipe we have cocoa two things of of flour or wheat whichever you'd like to call it and now we have to craft it we're gonna put it in and uh we'll see how it turns out hopefully it's good okay it's done we're gonna grab it um I have to eat it oh no this is a Minecraft cookie in real life let's see how it tastes [Music] foreign you can catch a fish using a bucket confirmed in with more damage hit me without jumping now you can jump and hit me yeah jumping does more damage that's for sure miss confirmed one sponge in Minecraft it clears up three meters of water so theoretically it should clear up this entire bucket of water let's see and okay I don't think I got three meters so uh myth busted in Minecraft it takes just about one second to dig a piece of dirt with a shovel so we're gonna test that here now Ready Set Go ah did I get it in time I'm just gonna say myth confirmed because I mean you could probably dig it I'm not the best Digger of all time using Minecraft's cake recipe you can make a real cake so I've gathered everything we need three milk two sugar one egg three uh wheat or flour so we have three cups of milk all the sugar the flour as well then all that's last is the egg and now just to make sure we're gonna stir it we're gonna put this in the oven cook it and see how it turns out okay we're putting it inside we're gonna cook it we're gonna give it some time to cook we're gonna come back we're gonna try it out okay so it's been a little while cake is should be done hopefully okay let's uh try to get a little bit of this here smells good looks good um I'm gonna taste it Minecraft cake in real life you know it's not even that bad it just kind of tastes like a pancake it's really bad with the eggshells but other than that it's like edible it's not too horrible so I'm gonna say myth confirm you can actually make Minecraft cake in real life in Minecraft you can grow a tree within 30 minutes it should grow that's what they say so right here I have a little seed we're gonna try to grow a tree there's the seed there's a lot of rocks but it's okay we're gonna cover up and we're gonna grab some water we'll cover it now we gotta wait 30 minutes to see if this myth actually works okay so it's been 30 minutes we can go ahead and check and uh yeah nothing grew this myth is busted a tree does not grow within 30 minutes next one can you actually craft a map using a piece of paper and then also a compass I don't know what you guys thought was gonna happen it's a piece of paper and then a compass obviously it does not work so no myth busted can iron pickaxe actually break stone let's see how long it takes it's breaking but it doesn't break the whole Rock So myth busted using a water bucket When jumping from a fall height stops fall damage so we're gonna test this three two one okay we have a bucket we gotta test it doesn't stop fall damage that hurt just as bad and now my shoes are soaked myth busted if you smelt sand it turns it into glass so we're gonna test to see if that works in real life by actually cooking real life sand we're gonna set it inside right there and we're gonna leave it for about an hour so it's been an hour we're gonna check um okay no it doesn't look like it's turned into glass but it is very very hot yep it is very very hot but it's not glass so mint busted in Minecraft a compass points towards your spawn so we're gonna test to see if a compass points towards my spawn which would technically be where I sleep and it is currently pointing in that direction which is not in that direction over there it's pointing over there but it I sleep that hurts so no mythbusted does obviously would not work in Minecraft the maximum amount of blocks you could jump is four and that's if you get like a perfect bounce these two areas is technically four blocks long so we're gonna try to jump it right now and see if this is real three two one I we jumped it so it counts okay so misconfirmed you can actually jump four blocks does Armor actually provide protection when you're getting hit so we're gonna test that there's one okay we have my armor some extra it does it hurt pretty bad but it provided a lot of protection so myth confirmed obviously in Minecraft it takes approximately 12 eggs to get 1.5 chickens to spawn I bought specifically these eggs four reasons so we're gonna test this now we have 12. um okay if that means that this last one should technically spawn a chicken then uh yeah let's test it no I didn't think it was gonna work so no if you throw 12 eggs you're not gonna get any chickens to spawn unfortunately so myth busted in Minecraft using a composter once you put enough plants and seeds and other items inside of it enough it will make bone meal using these items if you put it in where you need to grow stuff it'll actually help it so it's confirmed if you use these items it'll actually help plants grow in Minecraft you can actually dig sand even faster than dirt using a shovel so we're gonna test that three two one go yeah that is obviously way easier um so it's confirmed yes it is the same in Minecraft as in real life in Minecraft two seconds to eat an apple so right here I have an apple we're gonna attempt to eat it within that time frame but to give me a little bit more leverage we're gonna say I have to eat it within six seconds so three apples can I eat it within that time frame Miss busted you cannot eat an apple in six seconds unless you're built different I'm not in Minecraft it is a lot harder to mine stone with a shovel than you know using a pickaxe now I'm gonna try much harder I think it's self-explanatory obviously it does not work myth busted in Minecraft it takes 10 seconds for steak to cook in a furnace so I have a little burger here with steak inside of it and we're gonna re-cook it it's edible but it's still not warm I would say it's good but not the way you want it to be and if it was raw it would not work so I'm going to say myth busted you can catch a fish every 30 seconds in Minecraft it's been 30 seconds no fish myth busted in Minecraft if you feed two kittens or cats then uh they breed all right they're finishing up their food usually this is when the hearts pop up they're looking at each other I'm gonna take that as a no myth busted they do not breed who would have thought so since two people can fit a boat we're just gonna try one mythbusted in Minecraft a player can technically only jump one block high so right here we have two blocks which technically the average person should not be able to jump okay we're just gonna try to okay no if I were to do like this technically you can't do that in Minecraft so we're gonna say myth busted in Minecraft you can stay underwater for 15 seconds before you start take damage so I'm gonna try to attempt to see how long I can stay underwater three two one [Music] myth confirmed because I know other people could do it but mythbusted for myself available okay so obviously that did not work four buckets of water does not make an infinite water source myth busted in Minecraft three wheat or three flour you can make bread there we go we've crafted our almost bread so far we're
