I Bought a TESLA Model Y Long Range - Take Delivery With Me 2023 Tesla Model Y

all right so let's order a Tesla I've been wan to order this for a while but in order to do so a couple of things needed to happen but before we get into that pretty much this video is going to be shot over the course of a couple of days maybe a couple of weeks in this video we're going to go through the ordering step of actually going in the computer in a second and ordering the vehicle and then I'm going to save that and edit it in conjunction with when we take delivery and it's going to be the journey so this is the start of an incredible journey something I'm very excited about but going back to my earlier point in order to get this couple of things needed to happen I've been looking at getting one for a minute pretty much it comes out the two vehicles that I would ever get either a Toyota or a Tesla and it came down to a Tesla I really really love Toyota vehicles if I would to get one I would have gotten the ra 4 Prime which is a plug-in hybrid electric gas engine but the Tesla just really CAU my eye because of mirrior of different things that we're going to get to in subsequent videos so subscribe and join me in this journey it's December 9th 2023 I was going to wait till January to take advantage of the new EV tax credit that comes out January 1st 2024 but really looked at the pros and the Cons with going under the EV tax credit as it currently stands which I'm not going to get into maybe we'll do a video of that later or you can search it on Tik Tok YouTube whatever the case is and learn more about it but I wanted to take advantage of the 2023 EV tax credit Vice the 2024 and Beyond tax credit so without giving too much more or wasting your time too much more let get to the computer and actually order this vehicle let the anticipation period begin all right so here we are my computer I am using Jason's referral Jason it's a very good friend of mine shout out to my boy Jason if I take delivery by December 31st then Awards like six months of free supercharge and 3 months of FSD full surf driving so shout out to Jason let me use his referral link L and what I'm looking for is a model y got a family and I just think here we go hey Jason's refer now drive a Subaru Legacy 2012 which I will trade in probably get $3,000 for it not much but it help and I've been driving that for 5 years now before that I was driving a Pontiac they don't make Pontiacs anymore Pontiac Grand Prix enjoy that car but it broke down a ton which is why I got the Subaru I was young didn't do a lot of research and pretty much got really really fleeced AKA jipped AKA robbed so before getting this Tesla I have done extensive research I when I make big purchases do a lot of research and that's why I came down to Toyota and a Tesla I love Toyota vehicles um but I've been researching Teslas and been looking forward to this for over 9 months really saving for it uh cutting cost increasing cutting expenses increasing income so I should be able to not take so much of a beating my pockets monthly affording this car so this is something that I do with with God's help and God's blessing and my wife's and Family's help and blessing so here we are we won the model y long range and we won the blue paint reason why blue paint because the white I really think just looks like a toy like the white when I see a white one it it just doesn't really strike me like anything the the sil metallic one I'm not too in love with it the black one is $2,000 I don't want to pay that and also black CS are really boring the red one I have seen a couple red ones but it's not really red like this picture depict like a maroon color it's not really shiny it doesn't pop so that's how we land on Blue also the red one is 2K so I want the 20-in induction Wheels it's 2K that's fine and I want the white interior five seater don't need seven seats so here we are we're going to do the wall connect not going to get too much into this don't pay attention to this right here cuz we're going to look at money when we go to take delivery so for now we're just going to hit continue this is what we want vehicle is 52k as of now but that will change when we take delivery um so we're going to stick with this and it's going to be delivered sometime in December so we're going to go ahead and review order it's going to be a loan not a lease I'm not paying cash I'm not leasing this is going to be my vehicle and we're going to go ahead and order this right now so I'm going to go ahead and enter the car details and then we will be we will be right back on the other side and there you go mod Y order is confirmed and there it is Tesla ordered I see you when we go to take delivery all right so this is almost two weeks later since placing the order for the model y I'm right now to pick it up be that in 12 minutes it's kind of crazy that I'm driving this R Subaru for like the last time yesterday last night I actually put gas in it for the last time that's the last time I'm going to put gas in my car at least my car but I'm going still be gasing up my wife's car I think that's going to be like my fre time responsibility now but let me know in the comment if you know that you are trading in your car would you gas It Up full tank I want to know what y'all think I going to tell you what I did let me know what you would do if you trading in your car and get a electric or new car would you guys know for T if you're trading in but anyway going to trade this bad boy in it's crazy that I have not had car notes for the last two years two plus years and I'm jumping back in a car note pool and it's crazy because I don't really need carinal to leverage credit like I have credit cards that I pay off every month I have student loans that I pay and that helps credit as well and a mortgage so don't know why I'm doing the crazy thing of jumping back into to Cardinal but listen I work hard and I will enjoy nice things in life as well if I'm blessed then I'm blessed and I thank God for blessing me and my family in this way and uh so this is just me just enjoying the fruits of my heart hard work and I have like I said have the blessing for my family my wife and so I think I think we're going to be all right and uh so when we get to Tesla in a couple minutes here we're going to check the car out pick it up and and go home so we'll see you [Music] and neat before we take this thing home cuz I don't want no issues with Tesla now got my little handy daddy checklist here so we going to go through thoroughly I don't care how long it takes me we going to expect this car if anything wrong with it I'm saying I ain't taking it so let's do this it's cold so baby let let's go inside first we get your door for you man first time opening this B white insides look at that joint premium what you think so they got us in the Tesla waiting room I already looked at a car thoroughly inspected it um it's cold outside it's kind of like the worst day to get a Tesla cuz you got to really look at it thoroughly make sure there's no panel gaps go through the whole checklist and everything but I've I've done the best I could and I'm happy with it I saw a little scratch I was able to just wipe my finger across it and it got right off so it wasn't like a scratch I thought it was a scratch I started panicking cuz that paint is fragile so panel Gap and I'm going to put the video on the screen um but I a't tripping on that so we just waiting right now and paperwork is going to be done and sign it the key or the card and be on the way out but overall it's been a pretty good experience not too much to it they got coffee make myself a cup and uh that's it man there it is took delivery man got the car going to go home park this bad boy take it to
