I want to 3D print 1,000 krigsman models and I'm going to be doing it on this video sponsor Frozen Sonic Mega 8K which is huge but there's a major problem even though I'll be able to fit a lot of models on one plate it's going to take a long time to print out all of these models and YouTube doesn't like it when you take long breaks fortunately Frozen have just released their brand new Sonic Mega 8ks and they have kindly sent one over and a few extra Mega goodies to help me print this mountain of a [Music] challenge but first of all I want to see how many cracksmen I can fit on a single Mega 8ks bplate because on a mini 8ks you can fit 30 3 1 and it takes roughly 6 and 1/2 hours to print the bodies which is the same amount of time as the mighty 8K however on the mighty 8K you can fit 78 to print off 1,000 craigman on a mini 8ks would take 12 and a 12,000 minutes or 8 full days of non-stop printing but on the mega 8ks s well it's got a 15in buit which is huge so it can actually fit a whopping 164 creasman per plate which is not only more than five times more than the mini 8ks but it would only take 27 hours of non-stop printing to print 1,000 on the mega but if you were to buy the same amount of models per plate from official sources it would cost just over an extortionate $1,500 that's $1,500 per plate that is absolute Madness and that isn't even minmax in the placement of course it has to be said that the mega 8ks can also print off very large models as well there's tons of benefits to this new Mega 8ks and I'll get into more of them later but the main one is speed it's Ted to be about 10 times faster than using a mighty 8K but what about a mega well this seems like the perfect time to test it out over multiple plates I first calibrated the mega it KS I used the cones of calibration to F tunic I ended up getting down to roughly about 1.2 seconds exposure time and that's actually slightly Overexposed which I'm doing on purpose because it's already starting to get very cold where I live and usually the best way I find to combat the colder temperature is by bumping up the exposure times just by a touch but even then 1.2 seconds for a machine this big is very fast after loading in the plates into both machines it's time to see how much faster is this cheaper version of the mega now obviously like I've shown earlier printing 1000 is going to take some time so while it's printing I'll talk a little bit more about who should be interested in this printer I think this printer is going to be great for a wide range of people going from crazy people like me want them to print insane challenges to businesses printing models on demand I don't really do refuse on this channel because there's better people out there that look at the specific things so I just try and charge the printers by the most important things which to me is the ease of use and the output of the minis I try and push them as hard as I can with the time that I have them before making a video because although I don't refute them the same way as others I also will absolutely not promote something that I don't think is worth it I have a few printers that I've actually received in the past that no one knows about because they just wenter up the scratch but this printer is amazing and for my uses it's great because I'm going to need a new Big Challenge which I want you to come up with in the comments down below I've been using this new Mega wash and cure station and compared to the current wash and cure station I have from Frozen it really is Mega the mega wash station holds an impressive 25 L which is huge the current wash station I have is 8 L which I've only come close to using the full capacity with the warlord Titan Parts but using 25 lers means you can put the whole Mega plate in and make washing up less messy they have also upgraded the design of the Cure station which if you've watched my channel before you already know how great I thought that was but this is just is fantastic it's got the same trying feature that means you can use the fans internally to try your models for 30 minutes before it automatically cures them for the time you input which for me is 5 minutes much like the previous one the turntable spins in 360° meaning everything gets evenly cured but most importantly I like the design of this one so much more I'm glad Frozen have decided to ditch the detachable Lids on the printer and cure station because I do all of this work and my full-time job in this Tiny Box room and having Lids of printers laying about while I'm trying to take plates off or put models in the Cure station just really makes it claustrophobic the mega 8ks printed that plate in an impressive 4 and 1/2 hours whereas the mega 8K took 8 hours and 51 minutes but what about the quality of the prints well here is two of the Craig bodies side by side the mega K is on the left and the old Mega on the right while the mega 8ks can print fast unfortunately I can't Bild fast I sat down and see how many I could glue together in an hour to gauge how long this will take I wasn't trying to rush through things because I know I couldn't keep that up for too long but going at a normal Pace I'm able to glue 77 bodies with one arm to the bases this is going to take a while but I severely underestimated how much time and money this would take to glue 1,000 craigman together the reason I 3D printed so many craigman is because you may or may not know that I 3D printed an entire Titan Legion and I've hinted before about how I I wanted to honor my patreons in a unique way all YouTubers that have done a warlord Titan are similar made smart choices and use decals with Patron NES but I am not a smart YouTuber no i' like to make thank things harder for absolutely no reason so my plan to honor my patrons and members was to print one craigman for every active patreon and I may or may not have went a little overboard so be sure to become a patreon or YouTube member and claim your place in service to the false Emperor all in 1,000 craigman would use under 2.5 kg of resin which could cost as low as $40 compared to buying 1,000 cigman from official sources would be over $99,000 it's over 9,000 here is all the craigman that I printed I will admit that there isn't 1,000 based on armed some have still just got the one arm and there's still quite a lot of the action poses that were quite difficult to glue in batches still to be armed and based but after gluing for four night St my eyes feel like they are burning out of my skull so I will take my time with the remaining few hundred I used some craigman that I previously printed but this was all part of my plan I don't know if anyone else would be mental enough to 3D print 1,000 craigman but instead of doing that you should watch this video next because I 3D printed a combat Patrol but with a Craig twist as always I want to give a huge thank you to all of my patreons and YouTube members you guys are amazing and I honestly can't thank you enough for bringing my dreams One Step Closer so I'll see you all on the Discord
