HUNTING AN 18TH CENTURY WITCH! - Witch Hunt - Part 1

when demons slaughtered my family i decided to devote my life to fighting evil at first i was only motivated by vengeance but then i met a man who showed me the right way recently i heard that in a small town called belleville people started to disappear and were being killed by some creature i immediately went to the town to investigate on my way to belleville i was attacked by something huge i was able to scare it off but my horse ran away with most of my supplies luckily i was able to get to town on foot and here we are welcome everyone to witch hunt so a couple of things this is made by the same developer that made skin walker hunt and you guys know how much i enjoyed that was terrifying but you guys know how much i enjoyed that and i asked while we were taking on that creature if i should take a look at this and you guys basically just shouted yes there's a lot more in this and a lot more that i won't be used to apparently so i'm interested to know what that means so seeing as though you guys said there's a lot more going on with it i'm assuming there's going to be a lot of scares and i've been meaning to do this for a while in the lower right corner you'll see there is a heart rate monitor so you guys can kind of get a feel for what is going on with me while we go through this so i don't know what to expect just jumped in i don't know why i've got 79 health but what i do know is this is set in the 18th century so we found a relic i guess and gone back in time from where we were with the skinwalker hunt and decided taking out the skinwalker or the wendigo wasn't enough we're going back to take care of whatever's here so let's see what we got some kind of tavern or something is this our horse no he said that i was run away didn't it and we had to uh we had to get to town on foot i think i have what you need what oh trades oh trader shop silver bullets packed silver bullets so where's my currency then oh there we go coins we've got one luck pick silver bullets so this is for stuff like werewolves and stuff there's a few things that you would use silver bullets for though right mana so we have some kind of super power as well silver crucifixes watcher totems silver crucifix is free so we'll take that what's the most expensive thing bounty hunter license you'll get around 10 coins okay i guess we're going to get to this then so this is the trader so they do have like npcs then oh okay that definitely wasn't with the the whole skin walker hunt i like to oh okay yeah it's gonna be one of those oh and you guys are gonna be able to see it like the way it makes me feel the way i react like that you guys are gonna see that oh you already know what's down there oh okay now the comments are making sense there's some cows can we scare them away oh yeah they do nice i gotta say as well the developer i think it's andre or andre i'm gonna say it wrong super talented considering like these little games like this i'm sure they're not easy to put together but such a good job all right let's not mess around anymore tab let's take a look current task explore the town and go to the woods so what's all this business then darkness sense gives you the passive ability to sense the presence of a powerful evil creatures okay so that's our ability then darkness sense radius is 500 meters evil sight gives you the ability to see through the eyes of a creature but it consumes 20 mana where's my mana though is it this or is that my health consumer okay so these are things we haven't unlocked yet lockpick master i saw that before we had one lockpick monster shout if the undead hurt you there's a 30 chance that you'll use monster shower to scare them away oh i like this evil side place crucifix okay there's a lot to digest right now and i'm all i wanted to do is just kind of have a look around this town and get an idea of what's going on what's going on with this witch what the hell is that sound oh it's inside this oh is somebody sleeping this is so cool though you're probably looking for father ludwig unfortunately he got killed by that horrible beast that's why i'm looking after the church i can provide medical help if you need it get medical help here oh that's why we're on 79 health okay that makes sense so he said at the beginning we were attacked by a huge creature so this is like a physician or something and somebody was attacked by it so there is i'm confused there's gonna be more creatures right i know you guys said that i'm trying to pinpoint i'm thinking right now it's a werewolf these are the silver bullets and stuff but the crucifix that tells me that could be a vampire i mean if we're dealing with a witch i don't know if she can summon things or this is so cool though i was gonna say i did see this i think that gives me an idea of what we're going to be hunting i did see this a while back it was one of those things that i was like 50 50 with it should we take a look or not and i'm kind of sorry that we didn't now oh a fire burn in a bear rug good evening sir as the mayor of belleville i can guarantee that if you'll really be able to help our town your doings will be greatly rewarded and you'll have our eternal gratitude to get to the woods go across river bridge be careful people have seen some undead creatures in those woods so we are dealing with something much more sinister than just a wild beast good luck and god bless you okay i'm actually quite surprised by the voice acting in this it's way more polished than i thought it was going to be so you're the mayor then so you've given me a license to go around the area then and hunt for you guys is that what it is what's that there anyone make out what that is entirely sure can we go through this no just rummaging through his house we're here to do his job he just turns to the left and i'm rifling through all his stuff if you imagine that and these are just people's these are just people's homes then right i suppose i shouldn't be doing this but if i was to uh come to a place like this you know what this reminds me of actually because it has a point it has a point to what i'm saying it reminds me a lot of oh of sleepy hollow oh i've got to use a lockpick to break that i need lockpicks okay there's something moving in there it reminds me a lot of uh sleepy hollow with ichabod crane when he came to the uh the town because of these like weird happenings and then glowstone investigated what was going on and then came across the headless horseman getting that vibe right now locked there's a squeaking going on as well what a weird house that was oh oh we know what you are [Music] i meet you in the future i end you i don't know about all of your kind but i've taken a fair few of you down what's making that sound is it that thing in there consume healing plants oh okay so this is that's how we recover health if we find them okay we're learning what a cool area though all right what did he say we had to do current task explore the town and go to the woods he told me to uh to go to something bridge river bridge was it oh i would love a little dog in this one earth has happened there oh we got coins for that okay oh travel to the woods okay so that's where we got all right before we go let me just double check that i've not missed anything back there i didn't know that you could pick things up and you actually gain coins from it that's kind of cool that's a massive bat does that indicate there's a vampire vampire here oh here's the healing stuff and i can't collect any of that no i'm completely healthy okay trying to find my feet with all this stuff unlock 35 so i can lockpick a lot of stuff back at the town i'll have to remember that if i find those lockpicks or i guess if i can buy them how much do we have 62 coins how much would the lock picks there's so much like you guys know me i need to like find out all the lore and like what's going on behind those doors i have to lockpick master increases successful lockpick chance to 65 that's a hundred oh okay and we can't take the horse or anything that'd be kind of cool just like kind of strolling through i didn't even see that is that which they already got one of them or is that the witch it's going to come back to bite us in the ass when we've done something like that she's going to get revenge on the town what a cool setting though okay and there's more of those plants over there what cool setting to start out though seriously giving me sleepy hollow vibes so let's go across the bridge then and i guess this is where the adventure begins we got to take down these creatures when a powerful monster is within 500 meters i can sense its presence people say that i possess this ability because the blood of an angel runs through my veins oh my oh hunt down the beast what's this oh no bella i really hope you managed to run away oh this was a horse oh paul bella she's been annihilated right how do we there we go right so we got a flintlock pistol oh a nice musket and a sword okay cool right let's keep the pistol out then for now what's this silver bullets hell yeah we'll take those [Music] nothing else where i start getting jumpy what the hell is that right mouse button to aim and fire was it a zombie oh is that the witch or a witch save okay i don't know what the hell that was that we just killed something that i have got to remember as well as reloading this thing takes a long time so getting into this habit it's gotta be second nature right we got down there which looks terrifying and we've got this way which is way more brighter but that might be like an illusion that makes you think that you should go that way we're going this way i would really like a flashlight and i know i know should be more of a lantern but wishful thinking right anything i'll do if i pick up on anything i'm just gonna hold still okay that's not bella but there's something over here come out you undead beast it's like scratching against the tree something's rustling over there i thought i could hear something over this side being in the trees like this as well is really claustrophobic i don't know if any of you guys have ever been into a forest like this but whenever you're trying to like narrow your eyes and see further down you just can't it feels like it closes in towards the end and that feeling is horrible all right we've got two more ways whoa that's what i heard before it's only like feet like something walking oh my god my whole body is covered in goosebumps oh this feels way more intense than it was with the wendigo i know everything's a little bit more primitive because we're further back in time but it feels way way darker like the atmosphere and the sound too what's that okay we got one of those things there consume healing plant no we're good i know where that is though i'd really like a map i i have don't have a map yeah i don't have a map yet i don't know where to find that either creepy ash trees all over the place as well like there's just there's no reason for this to be here and and look like that it just makes everything more terrifying you guys do that too you only start getting like freaked out you start getting angry at stuff that's me all day why is it there why is it terrifying why is everything bad you put yourself in this position idiot just remember that what's that that's that's hurting me as well what the f oh wait a second oh it's when i look at that thing [Music] so if i don't look at it can i get close to it oh this is i just heard footsteps it's on my right i can double back and get that plant too i know i'm ticking my health a little bit but that's fine oh it's coming to me wait wait wait do i wanna i'm just gonna shoot it oh it's gone we vanquished it i don't know what oh oh that game is mana okay nice all right so that's our first brush with something supernatural then i have no idea what kind of creature does that when you look at it it just like it was it was causing like a searing burn in my eyes take my health pretty good too [Music] oh there it is okay 98 perfect does that go all the way back up to 100 or does it just give us okay it does it goes back up to 100. let's just follow the natural path and see what we come up against what was that there's something there oh there's something there i thought it was here in the bush it's there look at that strolling across the trees what the hell is that we hit it [Music] reload reload oh my okay that's a ghoul or a zombie or something this is intense though you guys weren't kidding when you told me that this is absolutely intense it's got a similar feel to when we were hunting the wendigo but it's got that little sprinkle of something else too the hell is that is that a uh oh is that a wendygo totem or whatever that is oh it is i recognize you i can't get rid of it i don't know if oh what is that oh it's the top of a tree i thought people were gathered round in a circle i did go past the the line of those totem things so if anything's gonna happen it's here you kind of get a good look at what's going oh there's one of those things again those red glowing things that we came up against before no idea what they are you get mana from them though which is nice did she just say let me be let me be free what's this oh nice 24 can we not i don't want to drink that oh and there's a broom next to it and the dead birds everywhere this has got bad news written all over it but we're going with it smells like a teleportation potion drink [Music] i don't know if i should have done that i don't know where that's taken us to i kind of had a bearing on where we were and if i needed to get back to the town i knew where to go now i've got no idea why did i do that why did i have to drink the potion are you coming this way okay so i took that thing down back there but i heard something immediately to my left we got some kind of fog rolling in as well i hope that doesn't blanket the area oh my god that will be oh this is where we were before that's the bridge and then further back is the other bridge okay i know where we are now because i was gonna cross here this is where we saw those red things if we follow this round we saw one on the hill there and one on the side okay nice so at least i know where i am now i think we headed up that way before and then just kept going in that direction all right let's go and see this cabin then i caught it from the other side of the lake oh who is what is that is that something in it in a cloak or is that a tree if you guys didn't hear that she said he's coming i don't know who he is i don't like it okay we're good on health more totems oh the whispering thing gives me chills it's so unnerving [Music] how does sam and dean winchester do this like it's their nine to five i don't know how they do it it's cool i like to think i like this type of stuff but oh my god i think i'd lose my damn mind if i had to do this what new flash travel point i definitely definitely heard something in the trees then is it that is it the scarecrow oh don't you get off that start running oh belleville okay oh [ __ ] something's coming oh my god i feel like i'm surrounded i'm gonna save quick okay it sounds like one of those like zombie or ghoul things i'm gonna call them a ghoul behind there the entire time okay yeah you remember saying before about switching that is not second nature yet i tried so hard to spam reload oh pick up you picked up four lock picks nice black pick broken oh you know what i should probably pump into the skill that helps me unlock it yeah i'm not i'm not wasting any more that's two lock picks down i don't think i can take anything else there was a lantern back over at the sign right i just picked up a map as well let's see okay so we're in the center there like in between the sign and that yellow stone and what's oh that's the first one we found isn't it so they're the locations that we've been to okay that makes more sense now oh my god what is that is there goats how random is that is there like something i'm missing is there something to do with goats with witches that might be the weirdest thing we've come up against yeah i expected it to like turn around and charge us but nothing oh that's not good dead rat [ __ ] just used another lockpick creature is within 500 meters oh my god that's so cool so what is coming to me i don't recognize that area it was a hilly area was it over there something it looked like it's yeah it looks like it's running on all fours like look at that head movement and i can stain this too like oh no there we go he can't he forces me out after a while oh is this it is that it i need 20 mana oh that uses mana okay good to know i'll just use it whenever we want give me that what the hell is that might be like a hellhound or something i don't think that's what's hunting us though because he's still got that he's still got the heartbeat [Music] and it's getting stronger too it sounds like the heartbeat's getting faster okay i thought it'd be a smart move to come over to the mountains oh there we go it stopped the heartbeat was getting way stronger when i was moving over this this side oh is there a reason why oh what is this is there a reason why that thing stopped coming this way is it scared of something over this side it's like one predator being scared of another one oh check pulse there is no pulse yeah i could have guessed that being drip dried what is that is that like a partially oh it's a dead bird sacrifice 50 health why oh it's there oh [ __ ] okay he's down reload reload reload got 12 bullets left am i using the same bullets oh my god i am i'm just using silver bullets i need to find more some gold oh that like that crunch of of leaves or twigs under the foot that that is so horrible like i don't know how long you guys have been around the him but i want to follow him oh there's no way i'm keeping up with him oh he's over there so we know from technically the future when we were fighting the uh the wendigo that the dogs will basically sniff out where the creature is and it's an indicator of which direction to head in the bad news was with the wendigo it could mask itself as another creature i don't oh no oh man that's heartbreaking what's this some more goals at least we got to free one of the poppers or a guy okay i'm tracking something i'm tracking something i saw a dead sheep on the road back there oh yeah this is it this is what we're hunting oh it's over there it's a werewolf it is it's a werewolf i can see it i can see the silhouette we hit it reload quick quick which way did it go oh my god that thing is gonna be so fast oh there's a second one reload reload there's a third one coming in oh my god you're so fast give me the mana go go go go give me all the mana and the gold two will take it reload up okay i got five shots left of these silver bullets i'm probably gonna need to go to that trader at some point and buy some more my heart isn't beating okay yeah i'm not going anywhere near that no supernatural spiders no no no i have my limits i think everybody does that's mine i'm gonna see if i can sneak up on this thing and take it out with the sword oh my god i snuck up on this thing and he's still scared to piss out me oh my god he did like a 180 flick and then his face was just facing me yeah i'm getting out of this area for a minute 63 health not enough ammunition live to fight another day i'm thinking what is this oh is this something that was snacked on oh still the bullets nice add some health okay that prolongs it a little bit then give me that [Music] it's here there it is oh my god quickly go go go go that took me down to 52 health it is a werewolf [Music] okay we gotta go we gotta go i'm not even getting that thing down to half health yet we're gonna need way more silver ammunition i think i know roughly where this is as well there was an area up there right let me just double check the map so it's the lower left like they do this little jog thing and then they just start sprinting that is horrible reload okay okay breathe breathe lower the heart rate all right let's save we've got the mana that's fine and this will take us back to belleville which i'm guessing is the town that we originally went to right that would make sense if it was oh oh there he is hey little guy can i take this oh look at him he's smiling i mean not exactly i mean he's the best doggo i was going to say he's ugly but no it's not fair no doggo is a regular let's be real right let's see what the mayor says if i've seen the beast now then i shouldn't throw oh that's right i've seen the beast now we might be able to tell him what he's dealing with are you gonna say anything you're just gonna stand there staring like that can i go this way no it's locked okay i guess i'll go and speak to the trader then i close your door no still sleeping the [ __ ] there's people here oh i didn't see you before are you the witch you don't look like a witch but what does a witch look like what's this it's a spider in the corner i was gonna say the fact that there's people here it makes you feel a lot more alive and i know that sounds silly saying that but compared to what we hunted last time and we were totally isolated on our own it's cool it's a nice change is this a crypt oh my form [Music] oh my god why did this one do it and none of the others did i mean i don't think yeah i'm not gonna save because we're just outside of a fast travel point and i might need the mana to do that my god that's so bad oh right unlock yeah no i need to uh i need to upgrade my lockpick skill that's the first thing i've seen either that or reload if there's a way to do that that's locked too i'd like to kind of go through the homes and see what's in there right what have you got let's see we have 314 coins we get a silver crucifix for free so we'll definitely hold on to that wait more than one silver bullet pack how many bullets do we have six out of twenty i'm just gonna take one of those just so i'm not running out anytime soon and crucifix watch your totem compass light boots increase running stamina i don't think i've needed that yet metal armor that could be nice an ammo bag bounty hunter license i don't know why you'll get around 10 coins for every kill of an evil creature oh it just increases your uh your currency every time you take one of those things down receive 50 more stamina from killed creatures that could be good because that way i can see where the monster is if it's close fast travel monster shout improved regen iron legs lockpick master 65 percent i'm gonna bite the bullet i'm gonna buy that i think that's gonna be a solid thing to have what else have you got we still got some more coins fast reload which is 150 that's absolutely needed thirty percent faster okay that's exactly what i wanted when you place this totem it gets placed looking at the current direction of a creature that you're hunting giving you a hint about the creature's position oh that could be really useful to have so if you place them down it basically points out which way the creature is i'm not seeing any lock pick that we can buy on there i think guys this is
