Hulk's Strongest Moments

today's episode of variant is brought to you by [Music] Squarespace welcome to variant one shot today I'm going to be talking about Hulk's strongest moments in comic books clearly Hulk has had a crap ton over the years but I'm going to be mentioning several that I think are the coolest or the most impressive in 2006 a group of Marvel universe's finest Minds thought it would be a good idea to blast the Hulk into space the ship landed on the Savage World known as sakar thus begun the awesome Planet Hulk storyline which was basically Gladiator with aliens and the Hulk at one point in the story a doomsday device is triggered which cracks a cars tectonic plates thus threatening to tear the world apart one of the Hulk's allies stated that not even he could save the day in response to the Nays saying the Hulk jumped into a river of lava grabbed the tectonic plates of sakar and pulled them back together basically he put the world back together the next moment that shows Hulk's ridiculous amount of strength is when he fought Onslaught Onslaught was born from the minds of Professor X and Magneto and as a villain with Godlike power he stopped the Juggernaut then he whooped the X-Men the Fantastic Four and the Avengers combined then in the climax of the story The Hulk stepped in he had Jean Gray from the X-Men turn off the banner side of his brain unleashing a pissed off fully enraged Hulk Onslaught still handled the Hulk fairly well but he made the mistake a lot of people do when they're winning a fight he gloated as a result of this the Hulk up matter which in turn made him stronger and he punched Onslaught so hard he destroyed onslaught phys physical armor the resulting explosion of psionic energy separated banner and the Hulk so let me say this again The Avengers X-Men and Fantastic Four combined couldn't touch Onslaught but the Hulk with one punch mind you cracked his armor separating Onslaught from it that's just a little bit impressive during the original Secret Wars the major Heroes and many villains of the Marvel Universe were whisked away to battle World by the beyonder at one point molecule man attempted to kill the heroes by dropping a mountain range on top of them not a mountain a mountain range specifically a mountain range that was said to dwarf the freaking Andes you would think this means dead heroes right not if the Hulk around instead we get one of the most iconic covers in comic book history Iron Man carved out a small Cavern in the falling mountain range and then the Hulk caught and supported the entire thing he did this long enough for the heroes to figure out a way to get out safely effectively saving all the major Marvel Superheroes Hulk holding up this mountain is by far one of my favorite Hulk moments ever next let's talk about the time the Hulk fought Vector he's a member of the super villain group known as EOS he has the power to repel matter away from him he usually uses this to knock opponents away dig through the Earth or even send things hurling off into orbit when he turns his full force against the Hulk in the ghost of the past storyline he ends up disintegrating Hulk's skin and 90% of his body mass what does the Hulk now a mass of skeleton muscle and bone do about this he crawls towards Vector enduring the pain long enough to knock him out the Hulk then regenerated his body mass and skin almost instantly like it was nothing talk about going full beast mode we also have the time in World War Hulk Issue 5 where worldbreaker Hulk as he's been dubbed which you'll see why in a second became so strong he breaks the world with a single step a single footstep to me this is by far one of Hulk's most impressive moments of his sheer strength his single step tore AP Manhattan and nearly sank the East Coast the last moment I'm going to mention is from The Incredible Hulk's issue 632 when the Hulk turns into worldbreaker Hulk we see that just the summoning of his power in this issue destroys half of the east side of Las Vegas just summoning his power clearly the Hulk is ridiculously strong and one of the strongest heroes in comics and these are just some of his strongest moments but some of his best in my opinion but before I bring this one shot to a close I want to thank Squarespace Squarespace is the easiest way to create a beautiful website blog or online store for you and your ideas Squarespace features An Elegant interface beautiful templates and incredible 24/7 customer support their sites look professionally designed regardless of skill level and there's no coding required they have intuitive and easy to ous tools and you get a free domain if you sign up for a year start building your website today at squarespace.com and enter the code variant at checkout to get 10% off so what are you waiting for go make an awesome website and get 10% [Music] [Applause] [Music] off
