Huge Cage Upgrade For Some Of My Reptiles!

today we have to do some musical chairs for a bunch of our animals because they're starting to get big we need to find new enclosures so that they have all the room that they possibly want and they're going to be happy for a long time so it's a big day for moving animals around here today and we're gonna start right over here Beetlejuice is actually just outgrowing his cages super fast we're gonna give him this nice big beautiful cake and I think he'll love it before we get him in there though I need to go through and secure all the plants in there yeah we did all the finishing touches we covered up all the foam put some like moss and stuff in there to give it a little color all we got to do now is put some substrate in and get Beetlejuice in [Music] I ate so much reptile Prime for the new place all right we just gotta fill it up with water here and we'll get Beetlejuice into his new home what better way to introduce Beetlejuice to his new home then his favorite treats in the world actually my phone you ready uh no but yeah let's do it thank you [Music] oh man you get so much traction on the road oh you get one more buddy yeah shot it shot it shot it we got it in his attic fantastic dude that was crazy he's just like Sonic when he hit the road that one's done next up is Bear Day I was thinking about doing real plants with Verde but after thinking about it a little bit more I think she's just gonna match everything so we're gonna go ahead and go with some fake ones this will go good in there I should have ordered more of these I like them that's it all right more for legacy with new day growing we're actually gonna move her where Beetlejuice was very exciting of course she's in really really deep blue shade right now because that's oh my goodness so we're gonna pull her off display while we fix up that enclosure then we're actually gonna fix up her enclosure our false water cover because he's getting way too big for his enclosure so it's like just a game of musical chairs there's this whole backyard that needs to get foamed in and then we're gonna pull all of the plants out because Beetlejuice pretty much destroyed them anyway there's only three left really sad fake Burns you remember how beautiful this was when you set it up oh my God yeah I knew it wasn't gonna last hopefully this is longer yeah this should do okay anacondas they they sometimes climb but they don't spend most of their time climbing so like if I put stuff on the walls and stuff like that I don't think she's gonna mess with it [Music] before I start putting foam in here I'm just gonna like set things in and see where I want them to go and then we'll come [Music] [Applause] [Music] this enclosure is finally finished obviously like we said a bunch of times beard is going to come over here so Jessica finished up all the plants those are all dry got some substrate in there got the waterfall running again so what do you say we go get Mr Brian and he can put his first green anaconda into a nice new enclosure and I've been so excited about this one here you guys know that we've had Verity she was my first Anaconda my first real love of anacondas came from her and this enclosure is going to be so good for her he's got a waterfall she's got tons of area to climb around and Jessica did a great job refurbishing for Beetlejuice used to be I tell you what it is so awesome to see beer they just climb in here I know in no time she in this water I mean look at how much water she's gonna have to be in again the water feature the waterfall she's going to absolutely love it it's actually in shed right now probably shed in the next couple days and we'll be able to take her out just the same as we always have but wow I'm so happy she's finally getting an upgrade so the pulse water Cobra Bandit is gonna go where Verde used to live or we can put him in there we have to actually put a little tab up here so he can't push the doors in and get out so we'll do that and then we'll also clean it out and probably refresh some of the cage Congo our other calorie tick is actually going to move over here he's finally ready to start being handled and get used to doing education so all we really need to do with this page we need to clean this out and then go ahead and secure all the plants so he doesn't knock them down so what did he say Connie's not doing much today she's been doing that same enclosure for like three hours now it's like come on let's go back to the video we're over there sitting by Lucy Juliet not doing anything you're telling me he was gluing a piece of plastic onto an enclosure well I've been busting my butt cleaning Diddy and Dixie's enclosure for like over an hour that's hilarious I mean anyone who's always working hard around here it's me okay oh my I didn't know you were standing there sorry what have you been doing I've been gluing stuff and feeding stuff what have you been doing sweating look at the crevices of my elbows look under my nail look at my beautifully manicured nail let me see your nails I just cleaned my I can't I just washed my hands my hands look like this so his can look like this I just washed that's an exciting day because everything's moving around people just get a big closure and we got some you know fals he's gonna come here so I get the most exciting job ever putting the back step on the glass and somehow it broke out so what's not good is if you do that the animal can just get out your day was too big so we never really worried about it policy we'll definitely get out so what I got to do now is I'm gonna take this I'm gonna cut a decent piece and then we're gonna glue it and then tomorrow after this dries we're gonna clean this enclosure all out and then the closet will come for you okay Hello Kitty you trying to hit me huh that's what I thought [Music] that's right away not funny for me but for everybody radius of the nucleus perfect I gotta unplug it hi what are you doing checking in on you see what you're up to clean Daddy and Dixie's cage oh okay a lot of work what time is it oh I started at 10 50 1204 an hour okay did you say two hours in 10 plus 212. ah buddy all right I just wanted to check on you did you hear that she said she started at 9 54. it's 1204. that's like three four hours put it there a little bit off center that way it's up I can glue that piece you gotta clean it make sure the adhesive material I think that'll be it all right let me go grab some milk [Music] nice clean up there [Music] do it I think that's glued it smells like food One Design flaw I don't really like about these enclosures is I wish the little tab thing was up here because it gets dirt in it what you got to do every so often is come in and you can just do some like little tweezer tone a lot of the dirt out see all that dirt come out of there and then you can kind of work it so you know that there's no more dirt in there just little things that you know Mr Brian used to fix all the time so that's something as simple as that now it goes all the way up now it's a double safety feature of one stopping the glass we're going that way we're also stop in the glass from coming out you know what I'm saying thank you after too long and a two and a half long hours a year I'm very tired Rhino glano's put away their cage is finally completely clean and uh yeah looking good are you done now I am like my shirt thanks it's about time but can we go eat food now I'm starving me too I brought tacos [Music] great so basically what I got to do now is clean it out just in fact and then we're gonna get Pongo our other cowry tick and move her over here [Music] oh my God you guys may remember Pongo is actually a cow reticulated python that's been over here at BHP where we're gonna actually move Congo over on exhibit over at the reptarium so we have two kauri that way when perdita moves on Congo should already get used to being handled and stuff like that by the way my friend Lindsay is the one that donated Pongo to us so it's gonna be cool to finally get Pongo on exhibit it is so tight yeah he's gotta get used to this still great okay so pongo's gonna go in here so again we can start handling you know mango does pretty good but he's not a beer Day by any stretch so we want to make sure that we get that real habituation and socialization and the only way to do that is get it over here at the rep Terror and get it in an enclosure and start pulling it out like crazy and it's going to become really used to being handled much like Al macino or any of the other ones go ahead and put Pongo in Pongo is beautiful right you know instead of that white color it's that yellowy cow color which is really cool and uh look at it kind of go now the only downside is it can get behind the tree a little bit and hide back there but that's good for it and also climb these branches hang up here it's gonna have plenty of space to kind of cruise around and stuff like that so this will last for a while you know when we get across the street Chicago probably going to produce enclosure which is a giant enclosure could spend its whole life in that but for now I think Pongo is going to love it here and it's going to be a great addition to the Animal Ambassadors here at the reptario what is that that's weird feeling oh wait I know what that is oops put that bag on anyways so my little glue Joby poo he was held up overnight which is fantastic it's just done pushing dirty can you go back oh my God hi I'm Barbie now okay don't go nowhere so happy that works all right guys so now this is all finished up we just got to get the water bowl back in here and then we can move the falsy it's a false one you brought me Bandit yeah I mean you're so nice is Bandit because he looks like a bandit like a raccoon is that why his name Bandit and I like that he's very nice he's rear thing venomous which is pretty rad look at the little Vietnamese this is one of our favorite parts of the job move these animals up enclosures which is a very very good enrichment for them obviously he needs the space anyways and he's taking a sweet time he's gonna go around for the next couple hours explore he gets a giant water bowl now before you know it he's gonna be seven feet long I can't wait [Music] oh hey guys I didn't see you there so now the bandits moved out we actually have another one of these size enclosures that's gonna fit right here but it's already set up maybe I should do a little dusting back here too been to the restroom you've already seen this guy this is Daiquiri or albino strawberry pineapple and we're just gonna just slide them right into that spot you don't have a heat lamp on it it's just LEDs so the temperatures and everything should be the exact same but we're just gonna put the poop put the frog in the thing you ready for a little ride shoot huge I'm so excited to actually move him down because now kids can actually see him because the counter's a little tall for them this is our strawberry pineapple pizza blob ball tomato Pac-Man frog and he's very very cute but he's very very special I think kids are gonna love Paul to finally have the Pac-Man frog on display right now it's always been up front but it's just sitting on the counter sometimes people don't even know it's there so that looks really cool I love this is really awesome and then of course we have Beetlejuice I mean Beetlejuice is absolutely loving this extra space it's gonna be able to be interacted with much more which is going to be really cool and whenever we move things around I always get excited right because I know the animals are going to be happy so those guys are absolutely going to be ripping and then of course on this side Bandit the false water Cobra into beer days old enclosure because false Wonder covers are so freaking awesome it's cool that he has an enclosure that he can stay in now for at least a year although it's going to be moving across the street but we do have another false water Cobra that isn't quite as tame they'll probably come over and we'll work on socializing like that and then of course Congo is doing really good kind of moving around I think it's going to love the climbing branches and all that stuff it's really cool and lastly my beautiful beer day up here I absolutely am so happy that she seems to be loving it and she's going to be able to get really big in here it's going to be absolutely incredible they go into Ivy's enclosure when ivy goes across the street so maybe
