I Bought The Largest Rodent In The World!

so yesterday we added this African crested porcupine we're leaning towards the name Sid for it but continue to comment letting me know what you think about the name Sid like Sid Vicious because of the Mohawk or if you have a better option for that we're actually getting another animal Ambassador that's gonna be rockingly cool driving down Florida of course stop and see my friends at Gatorland can't go to Florida without being in Gatorland [Music] I've got really no update for you still drive maybe I can just make it all the way to Florida tonight I still got a lot of time left like about eight hours feeling good right now I got some uh Panda Express I stopped that that was cool after his trip down to Atlanta to pick up the porcupine his next trip was Orlando Florida do you know what time it is we got to get these babies which one do you want I need some good sized ones not too small very big ones in eyesight that's a good size right yeah take that one wait one more Yep one more what are you gonna name my words Phil Collins and Frank come on Danny I'm just I'm trying to find a big one for you hey look at that one right there handling all sorts of stuff oh this one's ready to go yeah what's up thanks again what is this Daniel what do we have it's a little baby American crocodile coming out oh my God okay what do I do I just feel the soft part of the shell right there go ahead and help him get a nice hole and these are actually Bone Crusher famous crocodiles babies Bone Crusher so these are Bone Crusher threes oh my God I just peel this back yeah peel it back a little bit oh my God this is crazy you never know what's gonna happen when you come and visit Gatorland oh my God what this is awesome oh my God Danny I've never hatched anything before never say that again now oh my God look at that baby American crocodile right in your own hair that is so awesome look at that in Michigan no can't do that in Michigan only at Gatorland your stomach still might be attached yeah yeah they gotta soak up all that nutrients here in a little bit that is amazing oh my God Danny thank you so much for this opportunity I'm Glad You Came when you did this is perfect time all right man that's right the capybara the world's largest Road and tops on the list for Lori's animal Ambassador she said we must get a Capybara and hey gotta make Lori happy and Jay sent me some pictures and it looks absolutely adorable all right guys so we finally got him let me tell you I am so excited about this little guy and I'm happy that we can hold him right now because I know in a couple weeks we will not be able to look at that face he has no idea what he's about to get himself into so I'll see you guys back at the rep soon guys hear me out is there a pied duh I don't know what that is and that's crazy all right guys time to make a quick little stop as I come get some lettuce and some blueberries so got a little bit of a drive back so right now we're just gonna give him some snacks and a little bit I'm gonna stop feed everybody change out some bedding and uh yeah update you guys in picking in hopefully the last stop of the night just fed the porcupine actually just spent a little bit of time out with the Cappy just so he can get out a little bit stretch himself out see how it goes before he's gotta go back in his cage both of them are doing really really well everybody's eating good as you guys see This Guy's super friendly so yeah we're in the last home stretch when we got about three four hours left and then I'll be home and then these guys are gonna make it home at the raptorium so the trip is over I survived it is daytime yeah it really wasn't that bad I'm definitely happy to be back I'm even more happy to get these guys in get them set up start crushing the training with them they're gonna be amazing Animal Ambassadors I just can't wait to see like what the people are gonna think of when they get to come in and see a little baby Kathy and a little baby porcupine in the Moment of Truth and of course Jake has to make us either turn around or close our eyes so I guess we got to cover our eyes until he comes out you guys are literally not ready Lori close your eyes Lori I don't want to put them down okay the drill drill he just so this is like Lori's like number one thing she said she had to get she's like we've got to get a Cappy we actually didn't even have an enclosure slated to put a copy in Lori came up with the idea basically what we're gonna do and I talked to Blake by the way this came from Blake's exotic Thank You Blake you're absolutely amazing I talked to Blake and he said that we could actually keep him the tortoise pen with Matilda so they're gonna actually share a pen uh We've designed a ginormous pen this guy because this is the largest rodent in the world right so these guys come from South America you can see they have a little bit of web feet because they're really Adept swimmers these guys can get up to 150 pounds and up to four foot long females get a little bit bigger than males we don't know if this is a male or female yet only a few weeks old right now so it's gonna get gigantic and it's all about habituating and socializing it it'll be ready to go we're open across three so people can interact with it they'll beat it these guys will eat romaine lettuce they're you know vegetarian just absolutely incredible ironically enough we do not want the capybara to meet Ivy because uh one of the anacondas Happy Meals is actually Kappa bear is down in the wild so we don't want that to happen but but look at how cute what do you think Laurie it's so adorable your dad hold it look at this again just like yesterday you guys came up with a ton of great names we need a name for a capybara again the largest rodent in the world need a cool name for this little monkey right here he or she is gonna be amazing animal Ambassador for a long long time yeah but do you know what this means now what's that now we have the two largest rodents in the whole world right actually ironically enough we just found out that the Kappa bear is the number one and believe it or not the porcupines number three wait does that mean we're getting a beaver yeah okay so it is a boy didn't know that that Blake knew I think Blake said he wasn't sure at the point so again that'll be easier for a name down in the comments what name for a male capybara should we name this guy yeah it's so cool I mean it's like a gigantic guinea pig that's interesting it made Jay's trip back a little bit more difficult it's the only way that a capybara will go to the bathroom is if it's in the water J had to stop constantly feed the Porky and make sure that uh at the Kappa bear would go in the water and go in the bathroom I'll buy them all by myself 12 30. Kathy's gotta go to the bathroom so I'm gonna show you guys like how I do that foreign [Music] I talked about how they actually poop in the water Jay will actually show us what that means you know for whatever reason when you put it in the water it'll dance around a little bit it's very important that the enclosure you keep in it has a nice big water area what we're going to do it's not only going to be big enough for it to go in the water go the bat's also going to be able to swim as well which is going to be really cool so basically we're going to have different tiers where Matilda has a water Bay where she can go and she won't be able to get into the deep water but there's going to be two water areas in this enclosure it's going to be absolutely giant we're going to have a swimming area for the capybara then we're going to have a kind of bathing area for Matilda they're going to be best of friends he smells like hey sometimes he doesn't like it at first but oh oh yeah it's already going see look at the pee pee or poop unless they're in water 110 oh my God isn't everything about it so cute yes look at this look at this little jowls what am I filming right now they're like yeah [Music] if you want to meet Jessica Jessica this is Javier that's cool here's yours again I feel itchy is that bad and when Jay was down in Orlando Florida at Gatorland before he picked up the capybara they actually packed up some alligators to replace the ones that we shipped down to him last week so uh now we just have two little ones in here hopefully the ones they sent us are about the same size I'm not sure let's take a look and see what they got they just arrived oh those are perfect size how many do we have we have one two three four five six seven it's a lot we've got an extra two Gators okay let's see what we got here these look perfect look at the size this is gonna be perfect so these will be good for the next year or sure we're gonna have no problem with this and the thing that's really cool is that you know we have now watched seven eight Gators in here nine gate or something like that we actually have a giant enclosure across the street going to be four foot deep and seven foot tall that we're gonna have our gators so rather than having seven or eight or nine Gators we're gonna have probably maybe 25 or 30 Gators and they're gonna have a giant it'll probably be like you know 500 gallons of water that they'll be able to swim in which will be really really cool and we can do the same thing that we're doing with Gatorland we can get the Gators like this about this size keep them for a year and then replace them still have these Gators here for the private but across the street going to have a giant enclosure with a bunch of cool alligators what a couple days huh Mike this is my exciting part oh yeah I mean the all the other ones are cute and everything but like I like these guys I know I'm excited yeah the Gators we had here were getting way too big so I'm glad they're back at Gatorland they're going to spend their life Outdoors it's going to be absolutely amazing for them and these guys will be with us for the next 12 months all right so I know you were busy doing an event so you didn't get to see the crappy bra bra right you ready ready [Music] my name's Javier Javier and then this is Sid I love all of your sounds I want to take them home so bad look at how cute okay you can nibble on my shoes I can replace them [Music] yesterday we actually brought the porcupine over to Bill and Sally at the gas station next door they were bringing the Cappy I think they're gonna absolutely love them what is it bro and this is the largest rodent in the world it could get 150 pounds so this is just a baby it's uh it's got webbed feet so it swims really well he's going for the good stuff [Music] Snickers who eventually Sally he'll be like they get like 150 pounds it's like a little baby yeah it's like a little baby oh I can't believe I did this oh my gosh this is amazing I love this it's always cool bringing Bill and Sally some animals America when you come visit the reptile you gotta come across the street to the marathon visit Bill and Sally and show them some love so it's awesome to have a couple new members to our Animal Ambassadors these are going to be so cool we'll have lots of special appearances at the rep tear them over the next couple months as well these will definitely be at the new aquarium full time it's going to be amazing we couldn't be more excited to have these guys they're absolutely adorable hope you guys enjoyed today's video if you did there's a playlist that you can watch all kinds of videos you can also hit that subscription button it would mean a lot to me also hit that like button while you're down there have a wonderful day reptile Army remember I feel itchy is that bad or am I just a dramatic
