Hue Forge Print Walk through on Bambu Studio

foreign today I'm going to be showing everyone something really cool there's a new program that just came out for the 3D printed community that basically converts 2D art into 3D art which is really freaking neat so go ahead and Google Q4 to get an idea of what it is it's made by horn and Road so if you go to the horn and Road main site you'll see the software isn't free and probably took them a lot of work to design it so um I don't blame them for charging for it but as you can see if you want a professional commercial license for life it's 175 personal use I think it's it's not as expensive but still uh has a bit of a cost associated with it it's personal use twelve dollars and that's for it's only 12 bucks or something about commercial units yeah so I might actually thought it was going to be more expensive so I might actually end up paying this 12 bucks um I might end up paying for it eventually but right now I just want to experiment with it first and see if I even like it as you can see it's not going to scroll down as you can see it's only available for Windows 10 and 11 now that's how new the software out this is a promotional price so I'm gonna do a couple prints I found to open a new page you want to go to search type in Hue Orange with no space look at all these different options they're really freaking cool um I saw one called the mecca which I which I really like and I'm going to print out I'm gonna look for it we'll show you guys how to set it all up on your printer so it's ready for printing losing track of it second bear with me it's under this guy here reprinted he's already got quite a few of them really really cool here's Mecca and this one is created by uh Steve board I believe Steve and Steve from qforge so it's one of the main guys there so I'm going to hit download let's go with 100 to 150 mil download click it to open it up in bamboo Studio and then while it's opening here go back here and we're going to details and you need to take note of these settings they are very important this is what's going to determine everything basically on your Mecca I'm actually printing another version of it on my printer right now uh using slightly different settings for that one are basically these so when I show you guys the final result it's going to be based off of this but for the sake of this video I'm going to show everyone how to do it based off of these settings here so you want to start with going extra fine 0.08 millimeters strength to leave it at two but I'm doing three because it's me to do a hundred percent in film on a thousand one hundred all right so it went automatically direct to linear you do want to be 100 leave the speed at default supports off it's just a square simple Square change your Pine Tower to 20 by 20 you don't have to do this I just like to reserve filament because it's expensive now since I'm doing uh this with color changes I'm gonna go smooth because it's you're going to be going back and forth anyway so you might as well make it now smooth does add some time to your print but I'm a content creator and I like to show really cool uh time boxes so from here I'm gonna blow my flushing volumes take note of this it's worked wonders for me and saved me a ton of filament 0.5 is a good multiplier hit Auto calc click OK your AMS settings May differ than mine you may only have four colors I have eight because I have two AMS units these are the colors that currently uploaded so I'm going to go ahead and slice this plate now these take some time to slice because they can be up to sorry they're over 1 million triangles in some cases but as you go through this entire process slowly and slowly and slowly you end up uh as you go through this process slowly and slowly it becomes faster and faster so I'm just going to let it generate and then I'll show everybody how to do the layer change the color layer change once it's sliced it's about a bit of an error here floating I'm going to disregard that error for now because I still have to slice this a few more times so you want black to be your base and the reason for that is because black is the first one and it's up to layer of five so here's your layer count or so the ones black up to layer five so once you hit layer five here right click and the next color on the list is great so select Gray re-slice the plate and as I mentioned as you re slice it gets faster and faster so next it's gray until layer seven so here's layer seven and now it becomes red so right click change filament to red slice the plate next we are red until layer 11 so we're at layer 11 now and now it becomes orange filament or a slice the plate so next it's orange into layer 13. and then it wants silver non-metallic basically light gray until layer 20. to change that to Gray re-slice now it wants this up to layer 28 there we go and then it becomes a slice of plate now we have one two three four five six so this one's supposed to be silver but I'm gonna go with gray again and it's a six color print so now we go back to prepare move this Prime Tower out of the way or auto rotate Orient everything one final slice and we're ready to print so it's going to take a total of one and a half hours and 10 grams of filament roughly 10 grams of filament with 1.24 grams wasted so that's basically it I'm going to send this off to my printer get
