Howa 1500 HCR 6.5 Creedmoor Rifle Review

your--how of 1500 in the hawa chassis dry --fill and 65 Creedmoor we just shot 15 shots three consecutive groups using three different ammo desert techs 140 400 a 140 eld and prime 130 here's our result this is the rifle let's go down and talk about it welcome to the sniper side review of the howard chassis rifle this is based on the howl of 1500 action and it's assembled in an accurate mag chassis system this rifle is chambered in 65 Creedmoor and we've just had some really fantastic results with this with factory ammo shooting it taking it out to distance it's been a real pleasure to shoot so let's go over some of the specs of this rifle starting with the back you have a loo they are adjustable stock this chassis uses AR type furniture so you can put the buffer tube in and put on whatever kind of stock that you want in that AR family same thing a our pistol grip this is an Ergo style grip it's got a really good trigger the trigger lets you marry up it's got a good break to it highly adjustable so no issues with the trigger the chassis takes accurate mag ten round magazine comes with it we have that right there Magpul works in it other magazines that are the a ICS variety do work in this chassis system no problem options for calibers for the HCR are two to three to 4365 Creedmoor in 308 your standard barrel options are 20 inch to 24 and this has a 26 inch threaded the 26 inch version is avail in 308 and 6-5 Creedmoor for the guys who want to go out and shoot competition don't have a lot of money to spend this is one of those options that lines you up with savage tikka and some of the other rifles without having to spend thousands of dollars to get you in the game the only thing I had to do to get this up and running was add a scope base to it and this is based off of the Wetherby actions hawa has a relationship with Weatherby so you're looking at that the nice thing is with the bolt here legacy sports who brings the how was in seracote's these rifles and you can see I got some decent wear on it but a big plus with this is that they didn't seracote the lugs that makes sure that this rifle runs nice and smooth feeds the magazines well and and there's no issues bolt releases right here on the side so you have that bolt release everything is where it should be with this accurate mag chassis this is the open top and lock version we have our Harris bipod with it threaded barrel now really I have no complaints the only thing I would like is to extend this handguard out a little bit I'd like to get my bipod a little bit closer to the end of my barrel but otherwise the rifles accurate and as someone once said only accurate rifles are interesting we took this out at 100 yards in here we have our shots at 100 yards desert tech 1:40 Hornaday eld 140 and prime 130 excellent groups no messing around this was from zeroing a rifle somebody asked me on Instagram what these two were I was basically reused this board and have a target underneath so I was just covering the two rounds up I used to zero everything up as you can see all three of these Lots trended pretty darn well with each other so you can switch up and you'd probably be in pretty good shape if you did so we took the rifle out to distance all right Oh 1,250 yards six-five Creedmoor we're using eleven point four Mills on our target and let's see what the winds are gonna do a little bit of tricky win happening Hey so we're using 3/4 wind another one as well we have examples at eight hundred yards that's to show you what we can do from one hundred to twelve hundred and fifty yards with this rifle all using factory ammo so consider the hawa take a look at it well we used it with the review with the sight mark pinnacle again excellent results we've been running this rifle pretty darn hard and we've had no issues in the dirt in the sand or as well with accuracy everything is spot-on and how it should be so high marks to the hawa thanks for watching make sure you go down below and subscribe as well head over to the sniper side website there's going to be details and links to all the information we're putting out here as well as some stuff that we don't include in the video there's some still images there's some specs and things like that weight cost all those things on these equipment so head over to sniper side comm and make sure you subscribe to our You Tube channel thanks for watching enjoy [Music] another one alright look like they're all good eleven five twelve hundred fifty yards factory prime 130 all right here we are twelve hundred fifty yards the hollow six five Creedmoor the HC are not a bad little group right here one two three four five twelve hundred fifty yards you're looking at about a six to eight inch group I need to bring it up and over a little bit little wink also one click up one click over and we're good how HCR
