I love Tom's earnest "it felt like it was all coming to an end". He looked genuinely sad at that prospect!
But then he had to backpedal immediately and say Sony had it all figured out anyway. We see ya Tom, don't even worry about it.
He emailed the CEO of one of the biggest corporations in the world just to say “thank you”, with no other personal agenda and despite he himself being as successful of a Hollywood star as he is now.
To me, that just shows great humility, integrity, and respect and says a lot about his personal character.
“Told ya he’s a good kid.” - Happy
God it's crazy how one change in hair can make him look 16. Here I totally see him in his twenties, movies are wild yo.
Essentially how I thought it went down. Holland didn’t do much and things were already decided, but it made for a heart warming story between two billion dollar companies and everyone ate it up.
Tom Holland is honestly one of the best at this talk show stuff. He never tells a story thats too long, always makes the audience laugh, is engaged etc. I can see why any studio would want to pick him up.
