Not enough rolling
Jimmy was briefed about the show 5 minutes before he went on air it seems
Uh... that does not look GOT-quality...
It looks like a video game cutscene. Like straight out of a game. Not sure if intentional or not
I think I'm beginning to understand what people meant when they said this show makes Game of Thrones' fights look like drunk people hitting each other; that show's depiction of combat felt heavy and raw. This comes off more like a weightless, heavily choreographed and elaborate dance in which everyone must play along, with quick cuts making it difficult to tell exactly where things are happening relative to each other. The heft and impact of heavy weapons on heavy armor isn't there, and in fact the plate armor might as well not exist.
I get that they're going for a more graceful style for Geralt, but at least in this clip it appears to have been taken to such an extreme that it no longer feels grounded in any sort of physical reality.
Look at everyone judge a entire show off a 20 second clip
Man I knew the comments would be a shit show like this. What is it about stories like this that makes people on the internet so picky/shitty? Iβd get if the show was out or they released an episode, but this clip shows us nothing.
I watched this clip yesterday and my first reaction was that you can clearly see that there's no physical contact, you can tell that he's not hitting anyone for real. It pains me to say this, but it looks fake.
Did that give anyone else Catwoman Basketball Scene flashbacks. I mean it's not THAT bad but... yikes.
Half of those stuntmen were already falling before the sword hit them
