How To Unlink Playstation Account in Helldivers 2 on Steam

hey what is up ladies and gentlemen it is your boy Johnny and today we have a new video tutorial for hell divers 2 in order to un link your PlayStation account from Hell drivers 2 um if you're playing on Steam so as you guys may know that on Steam basically when you download the Steam version of Hell drivers it tells you to sign into your PlayStation account and I believe this you have to do in order to play online multiplayer with other people so you have to link a PlayStation account however unfortunately right now at the moment there is no way to unlink a PlayStation account for example if you put in the wrong PlayStation account it's going to stay linked on to that account with hell divers and you won't be able to log in into any other account now there's been some methods according to people out there that you have to delete some files but unfortunately for a lot of people it hasn't worked um if they deleted these files because once once they boot up the game back up um they they're still logged into their PlayStation account so so here is a method that you could do if you're having this issue where you can't log off your PlayStation account on Hell divers 2 on Steam uh basically what you're going to have to do is you're going to have to buy Uncharted Steve's collection uh it's another PlayStation game that's available on Steam you're going to have to buy the Uncharted collection and for some reason the Uncharted collection actually lets you on link I don't know I think we have to bring this issue up to the developers because people really need to unlink their PlayStation account if they want to play with another PlayStation account or you have a brother that plays on your PC and they're wanting to play with their account on Steam um they this needs to happen uh there needs to be an option to unlink PlayStation accounts uh just like Microsoft when you play Halo infinite you can link different accounts you can log out all the times and use a different account even if you purchase it on Steam it won't it won't do anything even on the Master Chief Collection um so if everybody wants to log into your account so you're going to need to buy Uncharted Legacy uh the collection on Steam however that's like $50 it's $50 on Steam however you can go ahead and buy it and then if you don't play two hours on the Uncharted game you can go ahead and ask for a refund on Steam so you can just do this process in order to unlink and then ask for a refund from Steam which I really don't recommend uh the other option is that you can get Uncharted in your Library cheaper as well uh if you Google online different keys that you can buy online I think it goes around $20 so you could probably have to own the game I mean Uncharted is a pretty good game if you haven't played it uh but I also understand if you're not wanting to buy another game just to unlink it um basically what you're going to do is you're going to go into the option right here that you see on the menu on Uncharted it's going to say un link from PSN and once you do that you're going to be able to go into hell divers and you're going to be able to link a different account because your PlayStation account will be on link it doesn't matter with the progress I heard that the progress really doesn't end or anything um but you'll be able to link your own personal account from PlayStation or a different account from PlayStation in order to link it so that's actually pretty good news though to be honest because and that way you'll be able to link a new account as well and that will save you the hassle of all the issues that you may have in order for you to win want to link another account it's kind of dumb in my opinion I think they should have just made the option to un link I mean it's kind of like tying you to One account to play the game kind of sucks because it's not really making you an owner I know that certain games are linked to One account on Steam but um this kind of sucks um in my opinion but at least with different PCS or stuff you can always uh start a new session or start a new profile but it's different with this game so um that's probably the only option and as you guys can see I saw this on Reddit a lot of people are saying that it worked for them so yeah um it actually work for them and you can always delete your save data from Hell divers um if you don't want to actually be in that progress or I think even in the game it allows you to restart your data or something I'm not 100% sure but you can always link an account um um by doing this option right now this is the only option um in order to unlink your account in Hell divers anyways guys thanks for watching this video make sure to hit the like button and peace out
