functional healthy citizens and our um contributors in our society so this is uh miss karen dickinson i'll give her a minute to explain and to talk more about uh her initiative and why she she started what she began good afternoon guy and i know my time is limited and i'm attacking but i want to thank you guys for being here especially pastor timothy you know we came in contact at facebook and it has been truly a blessing to get this connection and it comes like family however the collective collaboration inc is a homeless and mental health program here in saint croix that we provide sheltering and total rapper wrong for individuals who's facing challenge with mental health and homelessness homelessness usually lead into mental health mental health don't necessarily lead into homelessness but what we do here is to build people we don't just support people we build individuals because these people didn't start out this way just about everybody that come in this place he knows me personally and it's family so it's a personal connection to me but we're a community and in our community we're family and what family do they look out for each other we're here with individuals who have some of the greatest skills challenge has just come upon them and the support has not been there and i try to remind people that support is needed in any realm bad or good we need support to get ourselves there so our job here is to restore and regain hope in individuals and let them to become individual productive citizens contributing back in our society because again they didn't start this race like this this individual knew what it was to have a home have a meal have a bed have a family but challenge meeting and we as a community we need to come together and stop marginalizing and stigmatizing and looking at people for what they are not who they are because in all of us there's good each and every one of us there's good [Music] hey [Music] hello [Music] hey it is to know that god is walking in a mighty way out there come on somebody say that amen well our topic tonight is how to tell if someone is lying to you what's your topic tonight reader how to tell if someone is lying to you how to deal now ladies and gentlemen in perusing the internet [Music] i glean that there are several types of lies i tell you a preacher what's the first one reader error error a lie by mistake yes and the second one is what omission leaving out relevant information i tell you and the third one is what restructuring that's the start in the context of mercy and then don't miss number four number four is denial what is number four denial refusing to acknowledge a truth um and then the fifth one is one reader minimization oh yes reducing the effect of a mistake a fault our judgment cause i hear your preaching oh yes number six you should know exaggeration what is that one exaggeration yes man representing as greater better more experienced or more successful yes and the final one is what fabrication fabrication deliberately inventing a false story have mercy picture i read as well listen gentlemen that the white lie the what lie the white light i don't know why white i i say i read yes that the white lie is a lie that is told in order to be what polite polite or to stop someone from being upset by the truth a white lie yes i don't know what is the black line i see it's a white lie yes now in 1996 a study published in the journal of personality and social psychology found that most people lie at least once or twice a day have mercy preacher that's a lot of mercy i don't know i went to the national geographic compile findings about why people lied and place the reasons in several categories all right preacher the first one is to what to promote yourself so there's some people on the job and i guess they like to get there yes that's right and the second one is to what to protect yourself oh lord i wonder if i'll do that and the last one is to impart others or to impress others now ladies and gentlemen the problem with lying is that it does not really help the person who is lying uh-huh all right preacher in addition let me make it clear lion is a sin it's a sin preacher yes lying is breaking one of god's commandments the bible says in exodus 20 and verse 16 what it says here reader though shall not bear false witness against thy neighbor oh yes and so lying breaks one of god's commandments yes sir moreover the verse here refers to whispering kill baron all right what is this big big word here slander and misrepresentation you can call all these lying yes yes preacher but what really affects me is what can be labeled religiously religiously what kind of lion religious life can i say here can i talk to you tonight i said can i talk to you tonight can i lift my bible and talk to you tonight too many preachers are declaring what the bible does not say yes you're true preacher [Music] a serious boy the bible instructs on the importance of keeping all of god's ten commandments yes yes yes preachers lie preachers what their life preaching claiming that the commandments have been nailed to the cross [Music] preacher you hear light that is like preaching we cannot as preacher preach alternative facts no way no way i'm talking to my pastors across the world and i don't hate anybody i hug any pastor friends with any past any priest any reverend but when i stand to preach i can't compromise when i stand to preach i gotta say it as it is i say we cannot as preachers preach alternate facts not at all if it's not true leave it out yes yes if the bible can't defend it am i speaking this without preacher that's right you know for a fact that the dead whether cremated buried or unburied do not go to heaven but some still preach it as a it is true you're true you're true ladies and gentlemen jesus identifies the true source of life yes he says who the father of lies is yes in john 8 44 what he says here reader ye are of your father the devil yes please for he is a liar and the father of it yes and he tricked eve with lies yes yes i say he trick eve with what life lies he's a liar from the beginning yes is anybody listening to me here he tricked the angels in heaven with lies in life [Music] tonight as we examine the word of god we will not expound the lies but we will watch with her proclaim the truth so as you proclaim the truth you'll know what the lies are yes so let us look tonight about the truth about heaven yes sir what is the truth about heaven [Music] are we going to heaven tell us is there a heaven somewhere are we going to remain on earth let us look tonight about the truth about heaven yes who is going there who preacher tell us tell us who will get there how will we go when will we go there yes is anybody listening to me here's a preacher now ladies and gentlemen going to heaven is not a myth no way a preacher yes moses is there it is not a f it's not a fairy tale nowhere no aperture it is not an allegory are you listening to me yes sir i did some reading and found out this guy stephen hawking [Music] said that the belief that heaven or an afterlife awaits us is a false story for people afraid of death yes fairy story preacher stephen hawkins you don't know what you're talking about and if you don't know what you're talking about you must write those things yes keep them thing in your head talk them to yourself jesus on the other hand gives this affirmation in john 14 and verse 3. what it says here if i go and prepare a place for you yes sir i will come again yes man so jesus says i'm coming again yes and the fact that i will come again is because i left and if i go i will come again and shall lift up the trumpet and now let it ring who is coming again jesus is coming again yes preacher now please note some biblical realities jesus walked on this earth yes sir yes preacher that's the truth he was born in bethlehem oh yes he was raised in the nazarene nazareth they say he nazareth where he was brought he healed the sick and what and raised the dead woman you can't doubt that man yeah as the song said everywhere he went [Music] he was the winner he's the mighty healer [Applause] [Applause] and so he healed the sick and he raised the what the dead preacher a guy who was then named lazarus he went to the grave and he said lazarus yes come forth comfort yes richard i heard city brooks in one of his sermons he exclaimed if he did not say lazarus and he had only said come forth every dead man would have come up from the grave because in him his resurrection power yes somebody said yes preacher he was crucified he died and was what i was buried preaching and it is no secret either that he rose from the grave yes the grave islam the grave is what empty he said he would die he said he would be in the grave for three days three days yes preacher he said he would watch reader race again now he says because i have gone to prepare a place for you be assured of this come on come on i will what i will come back come on i will watch i will come back come on i will what come back to take you there yes so jesus is coming again again preacher yes now who who will go there tell us the bible says the dead in christ and the living who served him in spirit and then true yes that's what the bible says you can't doubt the bible first thessalonians 4 16 for the what the lord himself shall what for the lord himself shall descend from heaven hold on and descend means to come down okay and he shall descend from heaven secretly no with a shout praise there's no secret rapture no that secret rapture thing is a myth yes that comes straight from hell yes there's no such doctrine in this bible about secret rapture for the lord himself shall descend from heaven when i watch readers with a shell with the voice of the world and what happens and the dead in christ shall rise first in christ preaching verse 17 says then we which are alive and remain yes we shall be caught up to meet him yes caught up to meet him singing joy and happiness [Music] [Applause] joy glory i'll tell the story amen amen and so read the text please first thessalonians 4 17 what it says then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clothes yes to meet the lord in the ear and so shall we ever be with the lord so how do you know when someone is lying to you check the word yes yes preacher the dead in christ yes who go in their graves nobody dies and go to heaven no stop that nonsense you are intelligent and educated absent from the body present with the lord does not say that when a person died they go to heaven paul had a desire to be absent from the body and present with the lord yes but watch it watch it what is absent from the body when you die the spirit of god and the bible said when you die the spirit goes back to god yes how does it go back to god just flying me there no it goes back to god in this sense that god is the only one who has power to give life again yes yes preacher when jesus went to lazarus his tomb he didn't look good with any bread he did not put bread in the tomb no he just shouted lazarus come forth because in him his resurrection power yes sir yes preacher so anyone who tells you that there's no heaven it's lying to you lying to you preacher is what lying to you oh my god and they're lying to you anyone who says christ is coming and submit is what they're lying to you preacher anyone who tells you that christ came in 1914 is what we read to you preacher anyone who says that heaven is on earth [Music] as far as my biblical record is concerned heaven is a place that takes us upwards upwards yes takes us where upwards elijah went up what that's right moses went upward what jesus when he died he said if i go i will come again he did not go out he went come on somebody say him and yes yes richard [Music] all right well there are three heavens mm-hmm what is the first one the atmospheric heaven oh yeah that's where we see the birds yes the equalization of nitrogen and oxygen so that the planes can fly yes sir yes and then we have what the starry heaven the starry heaven so when the psalmist says the heavens declare the glory of god he was talking about the starry heaven and the third one is what heaven where god is the heaven where god is let's make sure we don't that's here tonight yes sir now the bible says that this heaven where god is uh is above the brightness of the sun is above the water the brightness of this so ladies and gentlemen my reader which means if we are going to heaven if we are going to meet jesus we've got to pass the song that's the same picture that's right and so we got to pass the song yes and then the sun is so hot down here he got to do some cooling down yes yes somebody talk to me yes richard [Music] uh paul paul help me jesus paul was knocked off his horse on his way to destroy christians had this to say about his conversion acts 26 and verse 13. reader drop it like it hot what it says here at midday yes please walking i saw in the way a light from heaven from where greatness of the sun so where jesus reigns is above the sun [Music] when this life is old [Applause] [Music] hallelujah when this life is [Music] everybody [Music] hallelujah [Applause] [Music] that's right i saw in the way a light from heaven yes sir above the what above the brightness of the sun it was delight yes and the light was brighter than the sun have mercy preacher break break he saw a great light yes a light from heaven such as could not be produced by any other norway preacher it was not in the night but it was what midday [Music] and so watch it because of the force and power of this light they all fell to the earth upon the sight of it yes preacher yes and so i exclaimed with excitement that the heaven we would be going is above the brightness of the sun above the brightness of the circumference that is quite natural because the light came from the brightness of the sun and jesus lives come on come on am i speaking the truth yes and so god lives above the brightness of the sun yes who else lives there enoch lives above the brightness of and jesus too and who else lived there elisha in a chariot of fire yes he lives above the brightness of the sun and so hear me hear my friends hear me help me my friends from trinidad help me my friends from from ghana and around the caribbean union when jesus comes we would live in the place he has prepared above the brightness of the sun above the greatness of the sun [Music] in addition because we are going to live there it is a place yes yes it is a place it's a what it's a place it's a place revelation says it has the following it's the streets of god yes spiritually yes sir revelation 21 21. it has what tells riddler gates of pearl revelation 21 21 and what else it is the tree of life on the left yes sir and right side of the river yes sir man yes and the bible says that the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the name the healing creature yes knock on a 19 up there yes sir just peace and joy come on somebody say i hallelujah satisfied with the mansion below it [Music] [Music] yes what excites me also is this no more no more death preacher no more no more pain preacher talk to my wife and other mothers no more menstruation oh god come on somebody see a man amen yes and no more what crying hey the marketplace is empty no more traffic in the streets all the builders tools are silent no more time to harvest busy housewives since their labor [Music] in the cold no debate life on earth has been suspended as the [Music] is [Applause] [Music] praise god praise god [Applause] [Music] amen amen god praise god amen can we read about it yes what happens revelation 21 and verse 1 god shall wipe away yes preacher oh read it read him god shall worship and god shall wipe away all tears from their eyes and there shall be no more death neither sorrow nor crying neither shall there be any more pain for the former things pass away if there will be no sickness then there will be no no more calamity that's right that's right and pain will disappear yes preacher how many lie in bed languishing it is true it's true true can't get above their back the back is soul how many are suffering on the incredible disease is this true preacher are you talking truth how many are undergoing severe surgical operations yes yes preacher you're talking some make it some don't it's true how many are pained by the misconduct of their loved ones yes yes true true preacher can i say something here can i say here yeah this world what let me say again this world would be a different place if all pain were to cease forever yes sir yes richard i agree with you preacher diabetes god preacher yeah come and say that diabetes go on preacher high blood pressure headaches ladies alone menstruation go on preacher can't go on from urethra [Music] yes let me go again heart failure good ear quack [Music] and this is not our past no but our future yes sir yes preacher now ladies and gentlemen the grand climax of the book of revelation points to this future yes sir as you see i'm digging into revelation so much i just fall in love with it since this pandemic i've been reading it let me see again man the grand climax of the book of revelation yes points us to this future okay revelation gives a what a resolution a resolution of the issue that have been discussed all right preacher yes sir and the book of revelation consists of two motifs two preachers so you see i've been digging in how many motifs two two motifs the first one is the sense of an of an ending and the second one the sense of a beginning beginning yes sir yes richard yes sir moreover the revelation is not lying to us not at all what is evident and certain is this we are surrounded by the atmosphere of a new heaven and a new earth yes preacher [Music] but before we experience this new earth we must experience the joy of living in heaven for a thousand years yes sir yes preacher what does somebody say for how many years one thousand years no man one hundred a thousand years how many years one thousand years preacher and this is not happening now no scholar fool you i see it's not happening now no but this is what the bible says will happen yes preacher yes and the bible is not a book of lies but a book of truth or book of truth that's why jesus says in john 17 17 sanctify them through i watch the truth come on man through not in thy truth but through the truth yes because thy word is truth preacher yes and the word has to be true because the word is jesus yes jesus says i'm the way and i'm the truth yes sir yes preacher and so this is the written word but jesus is the living word yes sir that's i'm so right i declare heaven is real it's real preaching heaven is what real real heaven is promised yes heaven is one pastor above the brightness of the sun and heaven is where god lives and so the last one heaven is a place yes [Music] what a day let and us trust in serving every day just one glimpse of him when we [Applause] [Music] [Applause] when we [Music] hallelujah let's move on here this thing is nice you know yes the old testament prophet isaiah had a glimpse of the heavenly whom okay preacher in isaiah 35 that has just 10 verses the prophet predicts isaiah 35 1 the wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them yes preacher under what the desert shall what shall rejoice it does not rejoice that you shall want to rejoice i just lost something like a rose oh whoa whoa whoa whoa preacher hallelujah this chapter is regarded as an eschatological prophecy yes sir yes sir in it the prophet envisions and describes a new world order [Music] and the primary application of the vision shows god's people coming back to the land yes yes nevertheless the secondary application points to the land that is fairer than this yes sir yes yes and so the chapter has images of what abundant streams yes yes yes a blooming wilderness and a broad highway yes man and so watch it the imagery in verse 5 as one of joy and what else consultation read that man isaiah 35 and verse 5 what he says here then the eyes of the blind shall be open yes yes sir uh-huh come on hallelujah yes can the eyes of the blind shall what be open and the ears of the death shall be unstoppable hallelujah yes sir [Music] this was fulfilled during the first coming of christ and will continue with his fulfillment when he comes again again yes yes yes but while isaiah 35 is regarded as eschatological prophecy the revelation is the epic example of prophecy yes sir yes sir and so john the revelator exclaims john the revelator exclaimed revelation 21 and verse one and i i i saw yes richard uh-huh i what i saw i saw what i saw a new heaven i saw what a new heaven and whatever and a new earth for the first heaven yes sir and the first earth were passed away there was and there was no more sleep no more separation would it yes sir i'll walk from san francisco to come and see you in bed yes sir i'm from barbados i hope so yes yes yes richard the servant of god saw many things yes the judgment of the wicked the destruction of who of satan the earth is purged about sin and sinner yes yes sir but watch it help me lord please but the sears attention now turns to the rewarding of the redeemed all right all right preacher not me india can you can i look in the eye and you will know one thing yes i ain't lying not at all it's not a lie no i ain't telling lies and he had a bible and you will know you will know that ladies and gentlemen the bible is not lying revelation 22 and verse 6 come on with it what it says here and he said unto me yes sir these sins are faithful and true no life everything that is predicted in the book will certainly come to come to pass scripture revelation 22 and verse 6 and the lord god come and read that reader revelation 22 6 it continues what he says and the lord god of the holy prophets yes sent his angels to show unto his servants the things which most my speech must shortly be done let me read it a little bit come on revelation 22 6 come on the last part what it says here and the lord god of the holy prophets sent his angel to show unto his servants the things which must [Music] i'm gonna shake my hands with the elders tell all the people good morning [Music] amen amen i got a story to tell you didn't make it up found it someplace can't recall the story is told of a boy who was reading this novel of a favorite sheriff yes in fact his favorite sheriff the book at ten chapters and from chapter one to five the villian would beat the sheriff and embarrassed have mercy the villian's treatment of the sheriff was a source of embarrassment for the entire police force and the boy got discouraged and put the book away yes yes he left it there for someone or my favorite sheriff be beaten up like that but then one day he took up the book and decided to read the last chapter of the book yes sir yes with excitement he read that the sheriff eventually man are a child who was baptized you can bring your parents you can bring a friend and this was impressed on me as i lay in my bed by our lord and savior jesus christ ask the new believers to ask someone
