HOW TO STYLE LINEN TROUSERS FOR SUMMER 2023! | WAYS TO WEAR LINEN TROUSERS - 8 OUTFIT IDEAS!

Hello everybody welcome back to my YouTube channel welcome to my channel if you're new today's video I'm going to be sharing with you my top tips and outfit ideas for how you can wear linen in the summer and still look Chic and put together so I've got two pairs of linen trousers that I'm sharing with you in today's video the first pair is going to be this pair which is from H stem it's a white linen blend pair of more casual relaxed ever so slightly wider leg linen trousers in the next out of this beige pear which are also from h m these ones are slightly smarter a bit more formal they have a bit more of a tailored detail to the top and then they are tapered at bottom and yeah these are the two pairs of trousers I thought would be good to share with you in today's video because I feel like they're the most versatile they are the most summery in my opinion and also they suit lots of different shapes and sizes so for the first looks we are going to be styling the white linen blend trousers from h m I wanted to incorporate this gorgeous desktop in today's video as well this one is h m and it is so so beautiful really really easy to wear but super Chic and I love this almost paneling ribbed design here as well this one I paired with the white trousers I think is such an easy way to look Chic look expensive it's a really wearable minimal look but if you pair stripes with your linen you are just going to hit the nail on the head every single time in my opinion I'm wearing my chunky sandals with this look as well these ones are older from Max expenses and then I'm finishing off the look with my lueve basket bag I think basket bags are just a key accessory for the summer if you don't already own one there are so many really good ones on the High Street as well I really love pairing vest tops with the linen in the summer because it's such an easy way to add layering to your look if the weather is slightly warmer and you want to take off a jacket or a shirt wearing a vest underneath will keep you nice and cool but you can also wear just the vest with the trousers and that still looks really really amazing I would also say a key is accessories so in the summer you might think oh it's a bit hot I don't want to get tan lines I don't want to get any kind of lines or sand anywhere if you're by a beach but I think wearing accessories in the summer just really elevates your looks if they are a little bit more basic and simple now I have added a bit of structure to this look with this Blazer this Blazer is h m this vest top is Zara and I think the gray and the beige work really really nicely together these ones are both cool toned colors so they really complement each other and I feel like adding a little bit of structure to quite a dress down look with the linen add something a bit more interesting and a bit more Dimension to your look and I finished off this particular look with some Birkenstocks these are the almond color ones which are slightly difficult to get hold of but they are so so beautiful and I've added my structured Coach bag as well because I wanted to keep a bit more formality in this look one of my favorite ways to style linen is by simply adding a basic t-shirt this is just a basic black tee from either h m or Arquette I can't quite remember and I just love wearing this with some black strappy sandals the sandals I'm wearing in the cutaways here are actually new ones from new look really really affordable I love the strappy sandals with a tailored bag a hair slipped back in a bun pop an earring on pop some jewelry on pop some sunglasses on and you're good to go however if the weather is slightly cooler and you wanted to add something over the top I have paired it with this Zara denim jacket which I'm still kind of arming and our ring as to whether or not I keep I'm not 100 sure but it is the only denim jacket I have in my wardrobe at the moment so I wanted to show it to you in today's video and show you how you can add Denim and linen together and it still works really really nicely although the linen trousers are really relaxed and really casual you can add a slightly more casual oversized fit shirt as well this is a cotton shirt from Zara with blue and white Pinstripes running down it you can add on a really relaxed shirt to make an overall really relaxed really slouchy look so I haven't touched the shirt into this look I've just left it all open I finished the look with a really slouchy canvas striped bag which is also from New Look and I've kept on those strappy sandals from new look as well so moving on to the slightly more tapered formal pair of linen trousers that's like I wanted to create the something for the slightly cooler days where maybe you've got a dinner in the evening and you want to still relaxed but also be comfortable and Chic and you want just another layer of comfort something a little bit different is adding a jumper to your linen trousers so I've picked this one from mango it's a couple years old now but they do do something similar it's a really nice almost a kind of pearly iridescent jumper which you can tuck in to your linen trousers any jumper will also work with this as well so if you have a slightly thicker jumper you can go for that I like a fine jumper paired with linen trousers I've then added some tan accessories with the tan belt from Zara I've got a bag which I got from Amazon fashion a couple of years ago it's a bit of a raffia style tote which I love really slouchy and oversized you could try every thing in and then I've got some new tan slides from New Look next is an absolute classic daytime look for me and it is pairing a striped tee depending on the weather I go long striped if it's slightly cooler or I go short striped if it is slightly warmer or you can do a vest like I showed you earlier with the white linen pair this one is just a basic tee from h m it's a basic stripe really comfy really loose really casual paired with some black accessories so I've got my black bag from mango I've got my black sandals again from New Look added a belt for a bit of structure and I think Stripes work really well when you've slicked your hair back too I think that works really really well for this kind of casual daytime look it doesn't just have to be for the daytime you can also dress linen up for the evening or for some drinks perhaps with your friends and I have added this blouse which is a floaty really beautiful white blouse from mango it's really nice and soft and comfortable and I've just tucked this in to the trousers I've popped on a pair of strappy really thin strappy heels from mango as well and added a black small Raffia shoulder bag which is also from mango and I think it's just tie your hair back popping a few curls in can look really really Chic and elegant I would maybe wear a red lip with this look to add something a little bit different and also some Bolder accessories and bold earrings too but you can definitely dress up your linen trousers they're not just for daytime the next look is an absolute classic again for me you will see the majority of the time in the summer I am wearing some kind of colored or striped vest top with some kind of cotton or linen shirt over the top now this one is just a basic vest top from Arquette just a basic white ribbed vest I've got this linen blend shirt which is H M over the top really casual really loose fitting and these trousers is just out of Interest are also h m they are linen blend as well but I wanted to show you how you can add a belt and add a bit more structure to the more formal tapered trousers if you did want to wear this with a looser linen palette like I'm wearing here this also works really well for a bit more of a casual look added some black chunky sandals and I've also added my basket bag as well just to finish off the look and add a little bit more interest so that is how I am going to be wearing my linen trousers this summer to look Chic to look effortless to look put together but still very wearable and very comfortable which are main priorities for me I hope you've enjoyed the video
