How to sand walls before painting | Home Renovation

[Music] [Music] all right mal what is your top tip for painting right sand everything sand everything paint doesn't like to stick on shiny surfaces unless it's been sanded and then you run into the problems later on that it all starts peeling so we just stand everything [Music] so these are we just we have round ones of these in uh triangle ones the triangle ones are good because you get a square corner so you can get right into your corners with a round one will always leave the shape of a round in it we're using about 100 to 120 grit maybe 150 grit but normally somewhere around 120 first sand in the most hardware stores will have something along these same lines again the other thing i would say is when you're doing this if you're doing your whole house buy the best quality tools you can afford to buy if you buy the three dollar brush from your local hardware store you're gonna get a three dollar job but if you buy a 20 brush and look after it jump online and see how people will look after their gear you'll find you can make your brushes last the duration of the job and you'll have easy way of cutting in and getting nice straight lines so the best quality gear you can afford to buy and sand everything so so just so you can sort of see that it takes off the shine off the paint and you can see there's a scene you can actually see where you've sanded so that's it thank you for watching our video if you liked it please press thumbs up yeah and please share with all your friends buddies whoever you think will benefit from this video and if you click subscribe you'll see more of these amazing tips and tricks on how to actually style and decorate your home if you have any questions let us know and we'll try and make a video to answer your questions for you
