how to resize your video with capcut video editor app

here's a guide on using the cap cut video editor app in terms of formatting your video to fit to just about any other social media site so if you have a video that's recorded in the horizontal format to say the least and you want this thing to fit in a way that it will fit somewhat for the tick tock video format so what we're going to do is go to where it says format right here and as we tap on format there you get to choose these options here and format is actually different from the crop tool so just remember that all right and when we're here you can choose to just go with the preset options as you can see that and then you got this here going to the youtube size these i believe is for i think instagram and you just browse over to see the others here that's available but the tick tock one if you're into tick tock you can go with the 916 here and this is the size that it's going to go it's going to have your video look somewhat in a vertical form of course not full on video size here but when you take your two fingers like this you can actually zoom it in so maybe maybe your video that you recorded and you want to upload it to tick tock it in most cases perhaps i'll say that maybe just the more of the focus center area of that video is what you want to show so you could probably zoom in like this and you're probably wondering how this colors here appeared so once you're done with the format of the video or resizing your video here just back out of that there and you'll go to where it says canvas here and you can choose a color and as i choose the different colors here you'll notice how this is going to change all right so you can choose whatever you think is right to fit your video and yeah so with this here actually now that you have that there and you you save that this is going to kind of help your video stand out and also you can insert like text information here um that will you know like not block out the video itself like so if i go with this one here and i put that there and it's it's just like you know just for demonstration purposes okay so and so you can have your information here and it won't be blocking off parts of your video and maybe something else at the bottom and that's how your video is going to play after you resize it or reformat your video to that sense alright so hit that like share sub if you learned something new about the capcom video editor app and thanks for watching
