How To Resize Video In CapCut - Full Guide

I'll guide you through how to resize your video in Capcom if you find this useful then please consider subscribing and once you've done that then please consider leaving a like and let's do this first thing you'll need to do is either open up an existing project or a new one and add the video which you want to go and resize to it so in this case I'm going to go and create a new project and I've now gone and resized the video so as you can see at the moment it's like a long horizontal video and I want to make this vertical what you need to do is make sure you haven't selected the video if you have selected a video there's going to be a back button in the bottom left so tap there and what you need to do is scroll along either to Ratio or it may also be called format so yeah I've got Rae sure but usme format and tap there and then you can go and see all these different formats we can go and use so we've got fit and then we've got Tick Tock Instagram YouTube there's a few other options as well so in this case I want to be 9x16 which is the format for tick tock so I'll click there like this and then as you can see it's now gone and changed it so I'll then gonna press on the tick in the bottom right but now as you can see we've just got the video in the Middle with two black bars so what I'm first going to do is going to make the video sort of fit a bit better to do that go and tap on the video and then in the preview we then go and get this sort of green outline and that means we can now go and sort of resize and reposition it so I'm going to go and pinch it like so and then as you can see I'm sort of zooming it in and then you're going to go and get these lines to help you go and sort of line it up so I want it to be sort of in the middle like that and that's perfect but now if I go and play it back as you can see we've still got black bars at the top and at the bottom so to go and remove these we'll just go and change them I should say what you then need to do is go right to the bottom of capca to all the tools and scroll all the way along making sure no video is selected once again if a video is selected there's going to be your back button in the bottom left so tap there and scroll all the way along and go and click on canvas and then you can go and choose the color the background or the blur of those of that black area so I'm just going to click on color and then I'm going to go make it for example a red like that and then once you're happy with it you can go and press on the take in the bottom right but also you can click on background as well um and you can go and add your own background and things like that but yeah I'm happy with that and then to go and save it all you need to do is go and tap on the export button in the top right and then it's going to be saved to a camera roll or alternatively you can go and post it straight to social media
