How To Remove YouTube Shorts

you might notice I have no shorts anywhere in my YouTube feed all of it just just plain old YouTube right I love this I'm going to explain how to do it give you a little copy paste and and also a guide to follow along over on Chris tias.com so you could easily mimic this for yourself so you can get your YouTube how you want now most people are like why why even block shorts a isn't everybody doing short form content and it's a personal preference but my big thing with shorts is I I feel like I'm getting Dumber every time I watch them and I lose a lot of my time and productivity by ingesting shorts so for me I absolutely have to block shorts for some people it's an Escape and they just want to you know throw away a couple hours by all means keep shorts enabled but for you that really wants to elevate their gameer their productivity and get old you YouTube back let's get into it uh first off ublock origin ublock is such a a great tool for blocking a lot of stuff but the big thing is getting rid of shorts now what I do is I just click the little icon I hit settings and go to my filters right here and if you go to Chris titus. comom remove YouTube dorts You'll see this little page and I have two different uh actual filters here this is the one I use it's hide YouTube shorts It's a GitHub project uh the source is right here and also I linked to the original source project here if you need a backup list let's say this gets removed or it disappears tomorrow I also have a filter list from let's block it so what you do just look at this and you can just hit copy come over into your U block my filters and let's just uh show you what this looks like and you just paste it in and hit apply changes that's it that's all you have to do and then when you close out of YouTube go back into YouTube you won't have any shorts now if you can't get that let's say my site's down or something you could just go to the GitHub project go into list. text file you could download this L directly or you could just click the raw file and just get uhr a contrl c copy it directly from the raw GitHub or you go on let's block it as well and get it there but this is something I wanted to show everyone not a very long video today this is just something that I wanted to get out there so I can improve your life give as much value as possible if you like the video like it subscribe if you want to see more content like this and I'll see you in the next one
