How to disable YouTube shorts on your phone

hey guys today I'm going to show you how to make your YouTube app on your phone or browser look like this YouTube bases their recommendation based on your search and watch History so if we delete all your search and watch History the algorithm for YouTube stops working so let me show you how to do that the first thing I need you to make sure is that your um the Google that you've logged onto your Google Edge or Google Chrome is the Google and YouTube account is the same then go to Google data and privacy once you go to Google data and privacy click on the first link and once you click the first link there will be a YouTube history which is on click on that YouTube history click turn off and then press pause now this has paused from YouTube getting any more data off you however we still need to delete all the previous data that it has on you so go to manage history and then press delete and then press delete all time and once you say it's deleting now um and then press close and then if you go to YouTube which I'll do with this button and then I go to my premium my YouTube history is off so it doesn't work and if you go to your YouTube uh shorts it doesn't know what to recommend you because it's the recommendation off and this also works on your phone as just it's just completely off but but the beautiful thing is that if I want to search something I can still use YouTube and always benefit for to search something but YouTube doesn't say what I want I tell it what it wants so I have bit a bit more control I hope that was useful guys good luck and have fun see you in a bit if you found this video useful remember to like comment and subscribe guys see you in a bit
